As an expat in Germany I was a bit worried about my tax declaration, but with Taxfix it was really easy and quick. I got my money back really fast directly on my bank account.

Comprehensive, Speedy and user-friendly

It was fast and easy .. but 40€ fee per claim is too high, when the estimated tax return amount is very off and at the end you receive nothing (0€). Out of 4 claims (and estimated return amount by taxfix) only 1 was ' correct '.

Writing this after trying for 3 years. Had given multiple chances, this app failed measurably. Never ever again. Worst app, worst customer service, even their tax consultant service is bad. I completed their questionnaire 2 months ago still my tax returns were not filed.

I’ve used taxfit one time in my life, and I’ve not get anything refunded to me despite of 1 full year of working, and on top of that, I’ve payed their fees because you have to pay no matter what.

They have claimed I will get around 108€ as a tax refund, however, tax office says I need to pay them 7€.

I highly encourage not to use this company as even when you do not get anything back from tax return, they will charge you hefty 40€.

I've used the app 3 times now, its easy to fill and you just relax and let them do their thing. It doesn't take so much, especially if you saved your data from previous filing.

Filling tax is easy and fast . But fees is 40€ for filling tax if this is 20€ then very good

Have filed my tax returns for 2023 and 2024. Satisfied and almost accurate prediction of tax returns both times. Just to improve the performance please consider the days of home office accurately to minimize difference in tax returns.

Easy to fill out, not so expensive. All works!

i have been using Taxfix since past 3 years and it has become more complicated and tricky. In some areas Taxfix is unable to perform anything For eg, if you are supporting someone outside germany-taxfix cannot help you in regard to this. Also it gets more and more expensive over the years.

I earn almost €90,000 a year in Germany and have no additional sources of income. I work from home, bought equipment for my home office, occasionally commute to the office, and pay for several private insurance policies – all of which are tax-deductible.

Despite this, Taxfix estimated my tax refund at just €631.01, which already seemed surprisingly low. But the real shock came when I actually received only €65.90.

It’s simply unbelievable – even a scammer wouldn’t take this much from you while pretending to help. Either Taxfix has no idea what they’re doing, or they are deliberately misleading users.

Stay away from this app if your money matters to you. I deeply regret doing my tax return with Taxfix.
