From the first minute I was greeted with professionalism. Every experience so far has been pleasant. I am looking forward to working with tax rise to see what happens with my situation.

Before I found Taxrise, I lived in constant turmoil for not filing taxes like a responsible adult.
I had basically given up on life, due to the notices from the IRS demanding payment.
Then I got a call, a miracle person telling me about a way that my IRS problems could be solved by professional licensed accountants. Too good to be true!
An affordable payment for a few months to pay for relief, peace of mind, for a chance of a future?
Unbelievable but true! Taxrise saved me!!

After about a year working with them, my tax situation got put into CNC status , which helps short term , is not a full resolution on my tax situation, when I could have done that myself and saved thousands of dollars. I hear nothing but bad things about this company and Monterey financial.

Your company's representatives are very efficient, succinct and professional. They exude a feeling of caring and warmth in their voices - which creates a sense of a future positive resolution and well being.

This company is a scam! They charged us 6k to file a payment plan that we already had with IRS prior to paying for their services. We would have saved much more money not using tax rise. They told us we would qualify for a fresh start program but they did noting. No correspondence, no notification of resolution, no heads up. Just a closed case and 6k in the hole. After attempting to contact them about the less than promised outcome they then told us to contact the IRS ourselves about our issues. Impossible to contact 2 seconds after they took our money. Be very suspicious, once they get your money they ghost you 100%. Plus they use 3rd party financing to secure the payment up front so you can't even stop payment for their 100% lack of service. DO NOT USE, TOTAL SCAM BE WARNED!!!!

If I could give them zero stars I would. I had around 11k in tax debt. I paid 5k upfront and it took them 10 months to do the easy form for my 2024 taxes as they said they couldn’t do anything until they were filed. Then they told me I owe 28k now and said their services were now complete and I would have to pay $380/month. IRS Never heard from them nothing was negotiated (they amended past years that were fine to now me owing) and now they are garnishing my wages at almost 1k month. DO NOT USE them - it’s a scam!

So far everyone (not A.I.) who worked with me has been very helpful and calming.

Tax Rise was very helpful in getting my problems resolved and they were very kind and professional. I highly recommend them.

When I first hired the company Tax Rise I was told by the person I spoke with the told me the following things: It would not take that long, days at the most. I would pay much less than what the IRS was asking for. That a tax accountant and a case manager would be in touch with me soon and regularly (NO ONE EVER CALLED ME). So, our first conversation was on 10/30/2025 ( I take notes). For that I needed to pay them $375. About 2 weeks later, our second conversation took place which cost $1,800. What the Tax Rise salesman said to me was ....we will take good care of you, you will pay less than the IRS is asking for, and the IRS will NEVER do this to you again. This is how it ended up. No one ever called me. In the beginning of January 2026 I was informed that Tax Rise's "resolution," was that I would pay IRS $211 every month for 72 months. That's 5 years. So, not less, but more. No contact. And they were willing, and this is really important to refund me $800 of the $1,800 if and only if I deleted the trustpilot review. Which I am obviously doing again and filing a formal complaint against this company

They are always corresponding in a timely fashion. There has not been an issue when I needed some adjustments or questions resolved. Everything has always been resolved quickly.
