Have used Taxslayer since they first came. Have always had a great experience. Easy to use and makes the whole process much easier. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been using tax slayer for years. I do like the way the system holds onto previous years and makes it that much easier. I feel that once you start using the system, it’s best to stick with it and tax slayer has always been good to me.

Worst tax experience of my life. Still not accepted by the IRS. Listed responses as to why were simply unacceptable. The AGI from 2024 did not solve the problem . I’ve attempted to fix my return six times. Finally just mailed it in. The $122 or whatever I spent is a complete ripoff… as you could not get my return accepted. Please refund my money.

I loved the little encouragements after competeling each step. You were also helpful in your instructions but you could be a little more clear in what I actually need to complete

Was automatically charged a fee and upgraded and I couldn’t cancel it. IF I wanted to be charged $94 I would have went to a live human and not entered my own information in your app. 10 out of 10 WILL NEVER recommend!

IT WAS EASIER THAN TURBO TAX AND FREE-EASY PEEZE

How is one 1099-NEC a complicated tax return that required a 100$ that was not told to me before starting the form acceptable? And on top of that, I was told I would be getting an amount in return but after having a friend look over it, it neglected to show I was schedule A or C through its program and I had to go back and fill out the form again just to find out I would owe… a 100$ fee just for me to correct its mistakes is disappointing.

It was pretty easy to move thru the steps. I think the charge was a bit more than necessary. I am a 69 yr old Senior whom had to take 401k retired savings....so paying $44.+ to use the app was a bit unfortunate.

So I paid for self employed service that I didn't need. At the end of the web program at efile you're presented with total fees you can't remove. I guess it's imported from prior year. I didn't want to start over so I payed the extra $150. Found afterward it's non refundable. Haaaa, I'm dumb thanks

Your prices have quadrupled since 2020 and I think 2025 was my last year with Taxslayer. With no human involved but me, the pricing should be lower.

The navigation from screen to screen was easy and the instructions were easy to understand and clear. Any and all mistakes were caught and reexamined. Great Service!!!

I filed both federal and state returns. Got a notice that federal had been rejected. I made some changes and tried to re-file. But I got a notice that I couldn't file twice, I contacted support, was told that once I receive that message the only thing I could do is print the return and mail it. After hours on the phone with TaxSlayer and IRS, I was finally able to file. But no one could tell me if the state return was accepted the first time I filed, or the last.

I don't have any assets, so this is really the easiest because it keeps my employer's information year over year. If you don't have a ton of deductions and you have a pretty stable job this is a really easy service.
