Warranty or General Wear and Tear

I purchased a Taylormade cart bag on 20 Feb 19 (so still under warranty) and the outer water resistant material is flaking off. I returned the bag to American Golf and asked them to repair or replace. AG were very understanding and contacted Taylormade. Unfortunately Taylormade were not so understanding and replied ”as the bag is almost one year old the damage is due to general wear and tear” (no surprises there then). I have replied to them and stated that as the bag is almost one year old it still falls within the 12 month warranty period! No prizes for guessing where this is heading!

I’m appalled that such a large, worldwide, well know and respected company can provide such poor after sales service!

New M2 irons in April 2017 - garbage

New M2 irons in April 2017. Three weeks later 5 iron face collapsed. Went back to the retailer and it took 2 weeks for a replacement from TaylorMade.
Last week, the replacement club failed. Not impressed with the quality of this expensive product. I have written to TaylorMade to complain. If I am not content with their response, I will claim a refund under law as the clubs are obviously not fit for purpose.

Be aware of the fault in this product. Visit the review page of TaylorMade Facebook page - there are quite a few similar comments about the M2 irons.

Taylormade my a**e!!!! Absolute joke!!!

I recently got custom fitted for a driver in AG (golf retailer) in February, and went with the M2 2017 D-Type with HZRDUS Yellow Shaft. Was told this would be in within 5-10 days according to Taylormade system, so was happy and ordered it, paying £330.

10 days later...... nothing.
So I called and asked what was happening, was told it would be another 5 days.
5 days later...... nothing.
Phoned again, Taylormade now changed it to end of April!
Was then told, if I changed to Rogue Silver shaft it would be in within 5 days.
5 days later, nothing.
Another 5 days "we have the components now, it'll be another 5 days".

No chance. No chance.
I had a local tournament coming up and couldnt play without a driver, so had to take the D-Type off the shelf, meaning I have a regular White Tie shaft thats about 60-70 yards shorter and pretty much useless.

Tried contacting TM to complain and was told "WE DONT DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS DIRECTLY, PLEASE SPEAK TO THE RETAILER"........ I did that and they've fobbed the retailer off!!!

Now im looking at having to pay an extra £130-200 to get the proper shaft, simply because TM couldnt deliver on what they say, have ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, and are AN ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES AND JOKE.

I doubt any of your guys will read this. Or even care when you do. But hopefully other people will, and will be put off buying your BS lines and lack of service, because believe me, its not worth it.

Broken Iron 5

During a normal golf swing on the fairway I broke my Iron 5 (less than 1,5 year old) golf club. The company (Jumbo Golf NL) where I bought my golf set sent back my broken club to TaylerMade and the result was that it wasn't according to TaylorMade a warranty issue. After visiting Jumbo for the fifth and last time about this issue they calculated me the repair costs! I was unpleasantly surprised about this message. How can it be that a quality firm like TaylorMade close his eyes for such a small issue, unbelievable. For me, TaylorMade and Jumbo have it all settled. Pity.
