Fantastic range of clematis, lots of information on the different types so easy to find the right variety for a situation or required characteristics. Delivery was surprisingly fast with well packaged, healthy plants. Highly recommend. A fun site for any plantsperson to peruse.

This review is 3 years after buying. My clematis burning love is absolutely beautiful on its 3rd year, gets better each year. Flowers for a long period . Josephine on year 2 has been stunning. Bought Amber 2 years ago, lovely foliage on this one so still looks good when not in bloom and can’t wait for year 3 which seems to be the boom year for my clematis. Would highly recommend this company.

100% Happy until today! I have placed x6 orders for plants from Taylors and have been happy until today when the wheels came off. Despite paying for an arranged delivery day/time NO delivery was attempted - the plants I ordered have now been in transit way too long. There was no reaction from Taylors Clematis by phone or by email - they do not even pick up a landline and do not respond to email in an appropriate time scale = no customer service whatsoever. I have spent +++ with this 'company' for previously well received plants so advice all is well when it goes well but the wheels come off hugely when it doesn't. VERY VERY unimpressed

The clematis I received from Taylors Clematis are in such good condition.
The colours are beautiful, the Amethyst Beauty took my breath away when I opened the box.
They are a good size, ready for planting out.
I am so delighted with my purchase.
I would honestly say I would recommend Taylors Clematis to anyone.

Bought a couple of Cirrhosa Ourika Valley clematis a couple of weeks ago. Nicely matured plants that were packaged well and arrived in great condition. Finally got to bed them down today. Being in their pots for a couple of weeks in my back garden has done them no harm, in fact they have literally thrived in the sunny spot I put them in since their arrival. Definitely recommended.

Taylor’s are our main Clematis supplier because they love their Clematis as do we. We’ve bought from many other suppliers & Garden centres but I now realise the dedicated suppliers are just that-dedicated. We have bought quite lot over the years from Taylor’s without any concerns re the condition of them in transit. The packaging is done with care on a super high level. The latest 2 arrived in flower & are now settling into their new positions. We have another chosen from the catalogue provided(thank you) we’ll pick another one to accompany it then order. Thank you Taylor’s for your dedication.

The plant was good value for money.
It is mature and vigorous and arrived in excellent condition.

Wish I'd looked at reviews before ordering from Taylors Clematis. Was anniversary gift - plant arrived broken - response - it was fine when left here!
Sent picture - solution provided - to cut other stem to promote new growth on the damaged plant. We are doing this and reserving the right to take further if plant fails.
Appalling customer service, not even an apology for the late delivery, let alone the damage

I was very impressed with the service Taylors have given. I had ordered a plant, which unfortunately was late due to the courier becoming ill. Nothing Taylors could do about that. Then the plant had a problem. Chris was going to replace it, so I returned it asap. I was going to be away for 2wks so the replacement was delayed until I returned home and the plant arrived 4 days later. Well packaged, it was beautiful and in such good condition and full of buds. The enclosed leaflet was helpful with lovely images of their stock. Great service, would recommend.

Taylors are a National Treasure! Their range is excellent, including some varieties I've found it impossible to find elsewhere. I bought four plants of the specialist cut-flower varieties & they arrived as scheduled, extremely well packed so in perfect condition. All appear very healthy, with lots of new buds. Oh, and their prices are very fair....even including the postage, the cost for these unusual varieties compares very well to common garden centre stock sorts. One very happy customer!

I’m extremely impressed with the service provided by Taylor’s. The ordering process was easy on their delightful website, and I was kept informed on each stage of the delivery. There was one variety that was out of stock, nevertheless I completed my order. Within 24 hours I’d received notification that it was available and of course I ordered it. I contacted Chris & Suzy to ask if it could be included in the delivery that I’d already placed and that was to be delivered on a specific date. This was no problem and to my delight I was refunded the additional carriage on the single clematis. The plants arrived in good time and perfect condition after being wrapped carefully and with obvious knowledge on how to send these delicate plants out. They are fabulous specimens and I heartily recommend Taylor’s if you are thinking about buying clematis.

I bought 3 clematis last year from here and they are all off to a great start this season. I fed them all with tomato feed and the Amber one is off like a rocket. Really pleased with all of them. I've got 4 more clematis on order from Taylors and can't wait to receive them. Lots of useful info on their website. I wouldn't buy my clematis anywhere else now.

Plant arrived in excellent condition despite a wee hold up with courier. Much better quality than garden centre, worth paying the extra.

Purchased 3 clematis, some food and paid for postage. One plant arrived broken in half and despite lots of emails back and forward with Chris he was adamant the damage had been done at our end which it had not!!! I eventually asked for a refund under distance selling laws which he agreed to but we would have to pay for return postage. I have purchased in the past from Taylors with no problems but very surprised this time with their extremely poor customer service and feel it was very rude to suggest damage happened at our end.

Not only good plants but they have an excellent website, well designed, full of information and easy to navigate, while the ordering and checking out process is very straightforward. Furthermore, a catalogue that contains practical advice is included in your parcel. At the end of it you feel almost as if you've met Chris and Suzy in person!

The range, quality and information on each clematis is excellent. The delivery service fast and although the P&P may seem high the plants are very well protected and very large. Thoroughly recommended.

Last year a friend recommended Taylors Clematis to me after a recent purchase.
This year I am changing my garden and have just purchased 4 clematis from Taylors. Their service is excellent and the quality of the plants received was superb. Their website and the booklet which came with the plants explains how to plant them properly as many people I know do not plant them correctly and are disappointed with the result.
I cannot wait for the rain to stop so I can get them planted.
