Fantastic .The dual power pack i bought…

Fantastic .The dual power pack i bought for my daughters wheelchair does the job. We live in a hilly area and it was becoming difficult to push her around and access the town centre. Just been to Blackpool Zoo and it made it so easy. The battery hasn't needed a charge yet so it lasts a good trip out. We had a demo which had to be delayed due to missing part but by week 2 we had the demo and bought it there and then. It needed a special fixing kit for the wheelchair but all in all it was worth it.

part number added bellow (order number)

I don't want to write this, but I place an order with a company for a part! At least they should be able to tell me when and if they have made an order for my part. and when the expect it in there stores.

Nope Tga just wishfully hope that the part just comes in!

This is major part of my scooter which has failed. and not for the 1st time. I am a loyal tga customer owned a Vita S. On which the whole alloy wheel assembly failed after a blow out, alloy exploded.

Luckily more Vita s models have been sold so was easy to get an aftermarket replacement.

I upgraded to the Vita X, and have suffered the same issue, contacted Tga to try and get a replacement, but they have no idea when they might get any in stock.

I have now been without my scooter since the middle of may, for the price of your scooters, sorry you need to do better. Have been lucky to get other parts from you which I am thankful for.

But again I shouldn't have to go without paid out for a scooter I can not get parts for. I know scooters like cars are guaranteed ware and tear over time parts will need to be replaced. But I can get parts for my car quicker.

I am hoping I get my replacement wheel assembly soon.

TGA'S bREEZE 4S

TGA came recommended by my Occupational Therapist and they certainly lived up to the revommendation. Before a demonstration visit the area re[resentative of TGA worked with my OT to evaluate my needs, obectives and mobility challengees o short list potential buggies from their range. The result wasa demonstration visit with three vehicles to consIDER. I was made to feel throughout that the visit was to find solutions to my needs, rather than a sales pich. i chose their flagship Breeze 4S model and was given a thorough trial ofit at the initial visit. i;m more than pleased with the machine.

Excellent service from TGA Mobility.

TGA was one of a number of companies we used to research scooters. We were pleased with the quality of information received, both over the phone and in the brochures sent, very promptly, by post.
We decided to take advantage of the home demonstration.
We were concerned that we might feel pressured, but we never did. Three scooters of our choice arrived with Barry, on time, and there was no rush. We never experienced sales talk at all. There was no time limit, so off went my loved one with Barry around the village! It really was a very relaxing process.
After all this, there was no pressure to buy. No promise of a better price if you sign up now. It was so refreshing.
We did buy. Having the confidence to know how the scooter performed in the environment rather than on a shop floor was important, and not stressful like it is away from home.

Delivery was as promised, by Barry, who made sure we were happy with everything, and even did the paperwork to register it with DVLA.

Excellent experience all round, and we would happily recommend them.

Wrong size wheelchair supplied

Wrong size wheelchair supplied, won't help me with that. (Whill C2 18in bought but faulty Whill C2 16in supplied)

Also it's faulty, already had to have 2 repairs and third one needed but they are not answering. First they argued the faulty battery was not faulty despite it losing charge rapidly and only getting a mile or so out of the approx 12 it should get, replacement batter has near full range this took a couple to few weeks to get sorted out. Second seat locking mechanism broken and it took a couple of weeks to collect and a week to return. Third was seat locking mechanism broke again and awaiting response about that. Also came with one arm loose and after repair something inside the hand rest loose, and the crutch holder attaching pins were broken by their representative and a few weeks later they are still ignoring it. Having to look to take legal or financial action against them.

UPDATE: They collected at 14 weeks, refunded at 15 weeks, which was a lot outside of the one month cancellation period so beware they are still being shady and deceptive. I have an email they accidentally copied me in on telling the recipient within TGA to IGNORE the fact they sold me the wrong size. I strongly recommend finding other dealers. Unfortunately for me they were the UK importer so I had to give up a wheelchair I loved if it were not a faulty model and TGA would actually support it and not make you wait a fortnight to a month without such a critical mobility aid. Regarding the visits they were delivery, collection to be repaired 2 weeks after reporting dropping off a loan wheelchair, return after 8 days but unfortunately a part broke swapping from loan to mine (this was never resolved and permanently ignored), then the next visit was collection over a month after reporting a repeat problem and multiple other problems reported over a two month period! Are they really a company you would trust your mobility with?

Not for the disabled!

Did your Maximo Plus stop suddenly on an incline? Did you spend hours online trying to find out where the overload switch reset button was? Shouldn't have bothered, because there isn't one! One or more of the fuses have blown. Where are they? Take out the battery and place it upside down. Take off the large black plastic battery cover. This involves removing 8 screws. But, like me, you probably won't have the screwdriver needed. Most screws are inaccessible without a long reach screwdriver. I'm having some delivered from Screwfix tomorrow. Will see how I get on. This was a really, really poor design decision, and there is nothing in the manuals to prepare you for this. Fortunately I'm able to cope, but there will be a lot of people who won't be.

I have a TGA vita s mobility scooter…

I have a TGA vita s mobility scooter with a snug canopy, I like the comfortable ride and the road holding ability. I don’t like small handles that make the scooter handling more difficult this is design fault that could easily be fixed, also the rear mud guards are pointless because they don’t cover the whole wheel causing the wheels to throw dirt up off the road when it’s been raining i have a photo that shows the dirt that is thrown up that settles on the running board’s again a poor design that easily be rectified A. A.

I only ordered a brochure for more information before deciding to have a home visit. Sadly nothing has been delivered. To be fair it could be the delivery company at fault not you guys. Please could you resend a catalog.

Phoned about a power pack for my childs…

Phoned about a power pack for my childs wheelchair so very heloful and informative rep arranged to come out and demonstrate product however on day it wasnt in stock so told me would phone asap and he did russ came out 2 days later and fitted power pack with full demo couldnt do enough for us so helpful and it works superb would highly reccommend this company and russ thank you
