Sophie at AA mediation service was excellent. We were owed a deposit for a vehicle we didn’t end up buying. She called and took the time to listen to my issue, and managed to achieve a very satisfying result with return of my deposit. It’s definitely worth asking for help from the AA and wouldn’t hesitate to ask for assistance in the future.

Purchased a car from an independent dealership, only to discover later that there were mechanical issues that went against their ad claims. Tried to resolve it myself but was abused by the dealership. Contacted the AA and had Grace look after the situation. Through all of the delays and setbacks (intentional by the dealership no doubt), Grace was persistent and fought hard to make sure I got the fixes required. After ~3 months we finally got the fixes done. Very thankful to Grace and the AA for the effort she put in.

I bought a car 12 weeks ago and it went wrong from day 1. I was given the run-around and lie after lie from Two weeks ago, I came across AA mediation without really knowing what would happen or if it would help. The car has now been sorted! Verity was a great help in getting my case resolved quickly.

I purchased a car from an AA certified seller, car seller sold me a defective car, the seller refused to repair the car so I complained to the AA, after they also failed to get a response from this unscrupulous dealer they informed me that the seller and the AA were no longer associated so they could not help and dropped me like a hot stone. So much for approved sellers. WHAT A JOKE.
Had a call from the AA, really nice young lady who unfortunately could not provide details on why the seller "HKM Devon car sales" is no longer an approved dealer but I can only assume that the dealer is so poor the AA no longer wish to be associated with such a poor business. Three cheers to the AA for trying their best.

I contacted the AA when I was having problems with a car dealership, as a car I had bought from them had a fault and it was taking far too long to sort out. The AA acted as mediators between myself and the dealers, as I felt I was getting nowhere. The two people I dealt with understood my concerns, and were very helpful. They contacted the dealers regularly, always passed on my comments to them and informed me of their responses. Every phone call was followed up with an email detailing our conversation. I now have an appointment with the dealer to fix the car. I feel that, without AAs help, I may never have had my problem sorted, and I cannot speak highly enough of them - very friendly, understanding and helpful. Thank you!

Unfortunately I learnt the hard way that even a very well known brand like the AA actually work and advertise with dodgy Car dealers such as like RS Motors Nottingham 79 Duke Street .
This dealer who the AA deal with sells bad and dodgy cars, with a lot of negative reviews but the AA contuine to work and finance them too. So I assume they really don't care what the car dealers they work and operate with as long as the can get you on a Car finance agreement.
For sure a big brand like the AA to risk the good name just for a couple of ££££s is super crazy but I guess this is the deal with most organisations nowadays.

Vicki went the extra mile to help me recover costs, even helping me with a challenging situation to transport the car to the dealer.
Vicki was helpful and communicated regularly by phone and email.
Of course you don't want to have to get a refund on your car but this service really helped when I was struggling to get any communication from the dealer at all.
