Scam!!!

I've just had the same as other people have stated, an attempted £17.29 charge on my account. What's even stranger is I haven't used this account for months and Natwest only sent me a new card roughly 6 weeks ago. Luckily I switched to a new provider a few months back. I froze the card but will be keeping an eye on my other accounts.

£17.29 taken by acc.co.uk..

Took as others have said below £17.29 out my barclays acct last night and I dont even know who they are. Anyway have rang barclays and reported this and got them blocked and have a new card on the way aswell. Apparently its something I clicked on accidently from my phone here when barclays investigated it which I have no recollection of!. Beware of the acc.co.uk-scammers.

I have never heard of this company or…

I have never heard of this company or had dealings and they are trying to take payments from my bank this is the response I got from my bank:

We see these merchants hundreds of time every day, they do have websites and they are legitimate companies.
People simply report them as scams as they do not realise they are signing up to a subscription when they input their card details on loan sites.

Cancelling your card will not stop a subscription as VISA will automatically redirect the subscription to the new card.

I've sent the request to prevent any more payments to the merchant. It may take up to 48 hours for the cancellation to be in place. If further transactions were to debit your account within this time, they’ll automatically be refunded to your card. The block will be in place for 13 months. Please contact the merchant to permanently cancel the continuous payment authority as the agreement is with the merchant and not the bank.

How can you cancel a continuous payment when you cannot get their details I have tried the unsubscribe button how do I know this will work? I have not even subscribed to them!! I am very disappointed with the bank and their response!! What else can I do?

They have just taken £17.29 off me too. How is this even legal? I have no emails, have no idea what it is for? Surely this is so illegal!!!!! I I will be going to the FCA/ Financial Ombudsmen about this company!! You can’t just take money out of peoples accounts without notification and clarification for what it is for!! That money is vital for our family to feed my kids!!! shame on you!!!!!!
