Good experience
Vicki diagnosed me earlier this year. She was excellent during the assessment, carefully listening and working through a complex situation with several co-morbidities. Her approach to medication is honest and practical, and I feel comfortable working with her to find out what is right for me.

Excellent, professional and helpful.
Vicky and her team have been so helpful organising diagnosis and support for me and my family. I was diagnosed in April 2023 and I can’t fault the service I have received from everyone. It has been life changing for us made easier with Vicky and her teams support throughout.
Always helpful and supportive and very professional.
Amazing work they do. We would highly recommend Vicky and her team to anyone searching for a ADHD diagnosis or support.

A wonderful experience
My experience with the ADHD Nurse has been brilliant! Any queries I had were responded to really quickly and when I turned up for my assessment, the staff present were all really friendly and helpful. I had my assessment with Sara who was so lovely and really took her time to understand me and my reasons for seeking a diagnosis. The assessment took around three hours and felt really thorough. It felt like no stone was left unturned and she showed real care. I didn’t leave with a diagnosis on the day of the assessment itself as Sara said she wanted to go over a few more things to really be sure that an ADHD diagnosis was the best fit for my symptoms. I appreciated her explaining her reasoning for not providing a diagnosis then and there and it really felt as though she had my best interests at heart. After completing the Creyos tests and providing some further information, I did receive an official diagnosis and again I really appreciated the time that Sara took with me to go through my results and her reasons for providing the diagnosis. It feels like a real weight off my shoulders to finally have an explanation for my struggles and I cannot thank Sara and the ADHD Nurse enough in helping me to get there. I would highly recommend their services to anyone considering seeking a diagnosis.
Brilliant
Short wait times, incredible and empathetic staff with thorough assessments. They work hard to focus on the entirety of developmental history as well as genetic history and look for alternative causes. Reports were detailed and we were provided with extensive information on access to support.
Five star+ experience with Vicki and her team
After a horrendous experience, misdiagnosis, lack of empathy no understanding of women with ADHD, old fashion education from the NHS. which made my life even worse negatively impacting my life, just like the other review. It’s a really sad state of affairs that going a private route is the only way and sad that you have to pay to be assessed for a condition that they refuse to acknowledge and help to change your life. I was apprehensive at first but speaking to Vicki who absolutely knew where I was coming from it was such a relief, she did a thorough three hour assessment which made my life make sense. If you are contemplating a private diagnosis I could not recommend Vicki highly enough, even after diagnosis she is there to help, along with Saffron who has been brilliant too thank you both so much.
A thorough and ethical approach!
Thank you so much to the ADHD Nurse team! I heard about them through an interview with Vicky on an ADHD podcast and I really appreciated how nuanced and ethical she came across. I knew that if I was going to go private then I didn’t want to take any risks with a clinic that was going to dish out diagnoses too easily and not look at the full picture, so I felt confident from what Vicky said that she would do a thorough assessment.
I got an appointment quickly in around 6-8 weeks which is so much quicker than everywhere else I’d looked, with an easy booking process.
The initial form asked for various information that could also help rule out other possibilities, and I had to provide school reports and they asked for insight from my mum.
I had my assessment with Sara and she was so lovely - I felt very relaxed and comfortable. The whole process (including an ADHD test and discussion of results, etc.) took almost 3 hours, which sounds a long time but it made me feel like they genuinely cared about being accurate and not misdiagnosing.
They sent me my final report around 1-2 weeks after along with options for next steps. I appreciated how they didn’t put any pressure about rushing to make a decision or push me in any particular direction. I didn’t opt to go on medication at the time as I wanted to see whether I could manage it myself and financially it would be tricky for me, but I am still considering it for the future and trust the team will support me when I do.
Thank you Vicki and team
I had been considering and putting off going for an ADHD assessment for a while but when I found the ADHD Nurse it just seemed like the perfect fit to get some answers for my struggles and I finally took the leap. I received my diagnosis a week ago and it has honestly been one of the best things I’ve ever done thanks to Vicki and her team. Despite feeling very anxious beforehand, Vicki (and Louie!) made me feel instantly at ease and was very welcoming. The assessment was so thorough and took 3 hours which I really appreciated, I didn’t feel rushed in the slightest and felt completely listened to and understood which was so reassuring. I feel like I finally have answers and cannot thank Vicki and her team enough for all the support they have provided so far. Thank you!
Wonderful experience!
I’ve been through the process of an adhd assessment recently and cannot stress enough how brilliant it has been. The staff are kind, thoughtful and thorough in all their interactions. At first I was suggested to do a screening and was booked in very quickly for that. Once completed (and I actually got around to booking in for the assessment) I was booked in very quickly as well. The assessment itself was great, I was a little nervous but felt reassured and supported. The assessment didn’t feel like an assessment in the sense of an examination, it felt like a chat and guided questions about my experiences.
The clinic was calm and chilled, set in a countryside, with the absolute cutest cows outside (and the cutest dog inside) which made the environment very comforting and free of distraction.
I would absolutely recommend the adhd nurse to anyone looking to have an assessment! 10/10
I can't reccomend them enough
All of the care that I've received was very thoughtful and thorough. I'm very happy with ADHD Nurse.

Vicki has without a doubt saved my life. Misdiagnosis from the NHS for over 15 years really had negatively impacted my life. It’s a really sad state of affairs that going a private route is the only way to really address a condition you are suffering with. Thank you Vicki, I’m so grateful that you were local enough to me to help make my life make more sense.
Can’t recommend these guys enough
Can’t recommend these guys enough! Awesome service and fantastic support. Many thanks to Vicki, Saffron & Rachael.

ADHD assessment
I saw Vicki for an ADHD assessment in December 2023 after a short wait. Vicki was thorough and kind, put me at ease even though I was nervous. She provided the report in a timely manner (even though it was just before Christmas!). She didn’t push medication at all but was supportive of my decision to try it while checking my expectations were realistic and has provided good clinical support since then helping me to adjust my dose. I’ve recommended her to a friend who is considering assessment.
It is an expensive process but been life changing for me. My NHS referral was accepted but the waiting list is LONG
Outstanding and life changing
I cannot recommend them highly enough. The process was easy and the care and understanding they showed myself and my husband was amazing and life changing.

Vicki diagnosed me in February 2022
Vicki diagnosed me in February 2022. The process and ongoing support has been excellent. Vicki has a very calm reassuring way about her and always makes me feel less nervous. I can honestly say that my diagnosis under Vicki’s care has changed my life.
Warm, efficient and knowledgeable
Saffron is very understanding and efficient. She was very thorough in putting the report together using different sources to support findings. I found it easy to talk to her and this made the process easier. The whole process helped me understand myself better.
The ADHD nurse and the service received…
The ADHD nurse and the service received with my daughter and her diagnosis have been superb. The communication and helpfulness so far have been amazing especially with the lack of support from the nhs so far.

I am so happy I chose the ADHD nurse…
I am so happy I chose the ADHD nurse for my assessment. The entire process was professional and respectful, and I feel they took me SERIOUSLY, and that they weren't looking to simply appease me because I ahd spent money on my assessment. I felt listened to, and that the assessor was genuinely interested in what I had to say, and kept inquiring and digging to get to the bottom of it. Compared to the BBC exposé that was aired a while ago, where the assessment appeared just shocking, I see how the adhd nurse is the complete antithesis of that. I spent at least 3 hours on my assessment, plus the digital/computer assessment as I didn't have enough testimonies and data from my childhood.
My only feedback is I wish there was better follow up after the assessment, as I'm struggling a bit with the "what next" part of it. So the assessment itself was amazing, and the info and everything I got during that time, I'm just struggling to continue my journey now after the assessment.
For anyone else looking for an assessment, I wholeheartedly recommend the ADHD nurse.
Thorough and compassionate
Thorough, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring. i have recommended this service to several friends who have also found it extremely helpful.

Fabulous Team
Fabulous find following a local search. Having been diagnosed privately, a few years ago before Covid and in a different part of the country, I needed to pick up where I left (not taking medication) because my symptoms were getting worse. After a long time of feeling lousy and dreading taking medication again, I decided I needed to try but be patient to find the right one for me.
After seeing my diagnosis report, I was booked to see Sara who was very easy to talk to showing empathy, obvious depth of knowledge based on theory but, importantly much experience. Now at the prescription stage having had to consult with a medical specialist for an ongoing medical issue, Sara is reminding me what is needed from me to move forward and how I will be supported. I am sure she will be invaluable in the near future helping me titrate and get the medication that is best suited to me. The team are very thorough and a pleasure to consult with. Highly recommended!
