Im not sure where to begin. From the moment we arrived it was seamless. Met at the airport, straight to the hotel no issues.

Next day they had organised a city sightseeing tour. Again, really well run and enjoyable and allowed us to get to know others in the group.

The expedition, I could say amazing, breath taking (literally) but they do not do it justice. The guides were great and knowledgeable. Everyone spent the night on base camp and we have gained lifelong friends as a result of this experience.

The joining instructions clear and mostly accurate. This was a great trip and simply can't recommend enough.

Anna was extremely personable and gave me good advice. She was clear about what the Intrepid tour included. She noted that I needed an additional night's stay and transfers and arranged these for me as well as giving me options for my flights which she then also booked so everything was arranged for me.

Logistics and organizations were great
Begi the tour guide was very easy going and did her best to make sure everyone is ok
But I’m disappointed we didn’t eventually visit song kul and the tour brought us to issykul lake in the end. Song kul was written in the itinerary

Group was good as well just about the right number of people we got 12
I think 16 would have been too many!

From the very start was met at airport and taken to a very very nice hotel were I met our guide Anish and members of iceykle they were all very lovely people and taken very good care of me on the hike to Everest base camp our guide Anish was very good at his job and very knowledgeable about the whole trek an every mountain and checked all stats and oxygen levels was a very well recommended guide we had 2 porters who took and bags up and down the mountain and who worked very hard it was a tuff trek and they handled it all with ease everybody was very professional

Easy booking process and a fantastic holiday. Excellent tour leader who worked so hard to change plans around unforeseen circumstances and difficult weather forecast.

I had an amazing 14 with my tour up to Mt. Everest base camp. lok was amazing and very ineligible on how far away from everything we were and how high all the mountains were around him. Would recommend him for a hiking tour

I have just got back from my 17 day Everest base camp trek. Even though we booked it two years in advance , the level
Of communication was second to none . Any question or query we had was answered very quickly to put our mind at rest.

Even in all the madness due to the war in the middle east flaring up weeks before we were due to fly , the help we received in rearranging flights and getting refunded from Emirates was extremely helpful and I’m sure Rachael was very busy processing this for us.

As for the trip itelf , it was the trip of a lifetime the organisation before and when we arrived was faultless. The hotels , treehouses we stayed in were great . The guides so knowledgeable and ensured our safety on the trails and what we ate during the trek to ensure a very positive experience . The views on the clear days was truly breathtaking , as was our first views of Mount Everest , Ama Dablam , lhotse, nurse, pumori. The Himalayan view are truly stunning pictures do not do them justice .

I’m very glad we chose the adventure people as we also got to spend time at Base camp to trueky experience in a short period base camp life for the summiteers.

All in all it was the adventure of a lifetime and exceeded what I hoped it would be and that is down to the organisation, down to the guides and the company to make it so many memories I will treasure to a lifetime .

This was a once in a lifetime experience. Even in the middle of a war, we still managed to enjoy every second.
The adventure company dealt with all our questions and concerns, and there were plenty! Every part of our trip went smoothly. Our guides and porters were absolutely fantastic! Sarala told us what to expect and wear everyday, Dikish was the best spotter for all the animals during our trip, they were amazing, patient, fun and we throughly enjoyed learning all about them and their culture.
I would highly recommend this company after being recommended myself. Thank you!

I had an overconfident approach to the Everest Base Camp trek before it began. Only to find that this wouldn’t have been successful without the help of the staff of Icicles Adventure, who were the local organizers of the event. The guide, Diwakar, was not only a guide but also went above and beyond to ensure I succeeded in my mission. The team at the office (Indira and Parasu Ram) was constantly in contact with Diwakar to ensure our progress and well-being. I will recommend this company 100% without any second thought. When the time came for us to depart, the last leg. From Lukla to Kathmandu, the weather changed, and the entire flight schedule came to a standstill. They worked towards it tirelessly and found a way out for us on time.

An absolutely fantastic 16 day tour through Costa Rica booked through The Adventure People (but actually a G Adventures tour). TAP were always fast and responsive when I needed anything, and were actually slightly cheaper than booking with G Advenures directly.

Our adventure and beach itinerary was brilliant! a wonderful combination of activities in different areas of a very beautiful country. Very efficient transfers and wonder local guides. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Rhiann was my travel consultant and very nice too . I paid upfront to do a tour of Vietnam but unfortunately the tour was full . Of course my money was repaid . By this time Adventure people had booked my flight with Emirates so rather than lose money I decided to travel Indy . Adventure people did kindly offer to find hotels for me but I found it was just as easy and a lot less £ to do it myself . My nightmare began when I found myself stuck in Thailand because of the mad one bombing the planet . Just like thousands of other stranded travellers I was on tenterhooks wondering if I was ever going to get a flight home . Of course I contacted my booking agent , ie Adventure People who advised me to contact Emirates . Just like countless other travellers all I got was ‘check back in 2 days to see if your flight will take off or be cancelled again ‘ . When I returned home I was reminded that all obligations and rights due to you from travel companies are to be found under terms and conditions. Did I read them ? No! That’s why I say beware . I am of course reading all other reviews and will let you know how my next trip with Adventure people goes .

Great trip with activities all as outlined beforehand
My only criticism of the company is the correspondence was slow often needing prompt for replies and we had a couple of last minute change of hotels

top quality arrangements by the Adventure People team. A number of flight changes before even at the very last minute, did not cause any issues. I was still picked up at Kathmandu airport and taken to the hotel, despite the lateness of my arrival.

The Trek team themselves were so good, always someone on hand to look after us as we made our way to EBC.

Great Hotel, easy to book and make arrangements, seriously folks, go with these people, you will not regret it.

Well organized and looked after the whole group. First time booking with them and won’t be the last 👍

All around, a great little group and a very nice tour of the Yucatan from Intrepid. Some wonderful hotels, some quickly forgetable. Some truly excellent food, but also some really terrible coffee. A bit of everything.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and super cheery. They set the days agenda more than once without asking us, ie if we'd like to eat breakfast at the hotel before we set off. As we were only a small group of 5, this could have been handled more democratically. We were all on holiday after all.

My biggest gripe, which lost this tour a star, was the transportation. Many hours and kms were spent inside our VW T5 van. It was quite new, very clean, but the lowest interior trim line possible meant sitting on simple bench seats for long periods of time. This tour was billed as "Premium." The transportation was not. At least bucket seats would have been appreciated.

This trip was an absolute highlight. Our leader, Tess, was knowledgeable, providing insightful facts about Australia while being a joy to travel with. The activities were engaging, and the hostels were both clean and conveniently located. I especially appreciated the itinerary, which took all the stress out of planning. With a group size of 23—predominantly female—the experience felt very comfortable and well-organized. I highly recommend this tour.

While the headline activities were fine I was quite disappointed by the role of The Adventure People in coordinating everything. It appears that TAP hands off oversight and coordination of their programs to a local partner, with poor coordination. The whole point of an organization like the Adventure People is to be a trustworthy and accountable partner that you can interact with easily to book an adventure. On my trip several things went wrong. The airport transfer I booked was not there (or didn't have my name). I booked a safari camping experience but then was put in a bad motel room, and TAP are arguing that this was an "upgrade". Finally, when you go to get in touch with TAP you'll find that their phone number rarely gets you a human on the other end, and their "Chat Now" feature only works limited hours. Overall next time I want a wild adventure I'm going to book through a local partner, rather than The Adventure People.

Excellent staff, well planned itinerary, knowledgeable guides, perfect for any adventurous people. Would highly recommend .
