Through survey which was discussed and adapted to my wishes. The team who visited were friendly, professional and did a great job! No mess left! Highly recommended!

Stuart and the team were extremely professional and courteous from the start. Stuart came for the site survey himself, listened to my needs, and agreed to use the exact loft hatch I wanted. He even pushed back the insulation which was left overhanging the hatch before we had even agreed to proceed, which shows that he is a professional. We agreed on a date for the works to take place, and although this had to be postponed from their end due to another project delaying, I was given a slot the next working day. The crew that came were also polite and completed the work in a timely fashion. My only comment would be that there was a little insulation still left on the floor of the bedroom where the loft hatch is - but they did clean up after themselves, I guess it was difficult to get everything hoovered. They even painted the ceiling after removing the old hatch door as it was bigger than the new one. Overall it was a great experience and I wish more handymen were as professional and cleaned up after themselves like this!

Great guys, on time, tidy, hard working and excellent work ethic (Filip and Gabriel). During the installation they encountered hidden pipework in the loft but they were able to provide an alternative solution to enable the loft ladder to fit in the correct place. They were flexible to changes with quick amendments to quote. Very pleased with the work carried out and would definitely recommend to anyone considering boarding their loft and getting a loft ladder.

I would not recommend using this company for a full loft project.

While they may be skilled at loft boarding, my overall experience was a disaster from start to finish. The initial timeline was set at four weeks, yet the project dragged on for seven months. I expect they’ll respond by blaming building control or other external factors, but that’s completely irrelevant.

Throughout the process, they made it clear that my project was not a priority, frequently reminding me that they had larger jobs to focus on. Communication was poor, and I was met with constant excuses and rudeness. Their approach to customer service needs serious improvement.

The subcontractors they used—plumbers and electricians hired at a low cost—were unreliable, unprofessional, and repeatedly failed to show up. I had multiple last-minute cancellations and had to endure five separate visits just to resolve a sprinkler issue.

Avoid this company if you're looking for a smooth, professionally managed loft conversion.

The Attic Guys have done a great job of transforming my dusty old attic into a very useable space. Within a three days of requesting a quote, I had a surveyor come down who was very helpful and presented me with a set of graduated options. Just a week later, the installation team arrived. The team, very polite and friendly, worked very hard from the get-go, barely taking a break, and completed the job in a day and a half, including clean-up. No mess at all! I now have a fully lagged and floored attic space with an integrated ladder. Attention to detail was very good too - I have removable inspection points in the floor so the electrics can be accessed if required.
Just a note to say, they returned on 24/02/25 to install a pair of windows and add insulation to the rafters. Another great job all done inside two days.

Having approached a few companies who 'covered London' to find out 'not your part of London', Mitch called me, talked me through the survey meeting and booked me in within two days of the call. Tom came and assessed my property and I was sent detailed quote with options with no hard sell (hallelujah). When the day arrived, they came on time, were polite, friendly and efficient. Very happy with the results. If I ever move again I'd get them to board over my attic 💯

Our newly-built house came without access to the loft, and The Attic Guys opened a hole for the hatch, installed it (and the ladder), and boarded the entire (40 sqm) loft plus added lighting to it, all in the same day and in less than a day!

Gave a very comprehensive quote - explained the details of the job and the reasons for the cost very clearly - emphasising that there would be no hidden extras on the final bill. Installed the loft insulation to raise my EPC from D to C - this was achieved thanks to the Attic Guys.

Clive & VJ came to lay loft boarding. They were on time, knew what was required and checked with us for our requirements for any unforeseen items. They were polite and completed the work within a day, tidying up after the work was completed. We are very happy with the loft boarding and the light fitting. We'd happily recommend The Attic Guys.

The Attic Guys installed loft boarding and a loft ladder for us. They arrived on time, were very polite and helpful, did an excellent job, worked hard and completed the job in less than a day. They ensured we inspected and checked the work to our satisfaction and cleaned and hoovered up afterwards. They also demonstrated how the loft ladder worked. I would definately recommend them for any loft work required.

I needed my loft cleared out, insulated, boarded and made accessible with a ladder.This was no easy task as the property had been rented out for 15 years to various tenants that before leaving, had decided to shove all their unwanted items up there!
This was the 3rd company that I had contacted to come and do a survey. Third time lucky. Steve the surveyor was friendly, but yet professional. He spent a considerable amount of time in the loft and meticulously measured and examined the area for any issues, unlike the other company surveyors who just popped their head through the hatch and took measurements with a laser. Afterwards, he talked through all the options in consideration of my budget. The work was completed over a 2 day period at the beginning of June (2024). Day 1. The two men just grafted so hard from the minute they stepped through the door until they left. I enjoyed listening to the banter between them 😂 Day 2 was for the timber ladder and light fitting. Now these guys had to come back a second time on the same day because I had a ‘dumb’ moment and thought the new ladder was stuck. Within a couple of hours the lovely guy at the office, reassured me they’d be back and he was true to his word, even though there were no issues. I would not hesitate contacting this company again.

In summary The Attic Guys are highly recommended.

I ordered a new loft ladder with a larger than normal trap door. From the off the communication was first class both in written form ( emails and messages at the same time ) , the initial survey and at the telephone. Professional and honest advice.

The kit was fitted a couple of days ago by Filip and Clive. They got their heads down working almost before they came through the front door ! They still had time to be friendly though and Filip's sense of humour is unique !

I cannot speak too highly of the standard of work - really excellent and matched into the existing decoration.They cleaned up brilliantly ( I literally had nothing to do) and spent time showing me how everything works.

My wife and I were so impressed we are considering using The Attic Guys for another project.

I had my loft boarded up last year 2023 and was thrilled with the completed job. I found the staff very polite and friendly and worked in a tidy manner.

Now a company are worth their salt if the after care customers service if good and I can honestly say they are. I had a slight issued and they came out to review and were prepared to pull all the stops out to fix my issue. I cannot thank them enough for 100% customer service I would recommend in a heartbeat.
