A 5 star experience from the initial e-mail enquiry to the delivery and construction of the new bed. Vicky is a walking encyclopaedia when it comes to her knowledge of the beds they stock, and Oscar and Benjamin a slick team in terms of delivery and advice. We were encouraged to try all the beds at our own pace and with absolutely no pressure before making a decision. We highly recommend The Carriage.

A well deserved 5 stars for a local, family run business with great customer service. We were very grateful for the help and advice given in store by Vicky when looking at the selection of mattresses available. Then to be given time to try them out with no time pressure was appreciated. The delivery was sorted out very efficiently by William. Another great bonus worth a mention….the mattress was made in the UK!🎉

Great service from a local family business. Good choice of beds and I'm pleased with my purchase. William at Guiseley was helpful without being pushy when I was making my choice. The bed was delivered promptly, they set up the new bed and took my old one away to be recycled. A good experience all round and I would recommend them.

The Carriage at Burley in Wharfedale is well laid out with a good choice of quality beds. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly making the whole experience from browsing to purchase efficient and straightforward.
Delivery was as planned and the old bed removed for recycling. I would recommend The Carriage 5 ⭐️ experience.

Would highly recommend buying a bed from The Carriage. No pressure at all to buy just friendly, helpful, good honest advice to enable us to make the right purchase for our needs. The delivery service was prompt, reliable, tidy and they took all packaging away no mess at all. Overall experience of buying a bed from them was made easy and enjoyable.

We were extremely impressed with the service at the Burley store, Vicky's knowledge helped us to make the right choice to suit our budget. The delivery team were excellent, took away our old bed and then brought in our new. William was very thorough and paid attention to every detail. In case you're wanting to buy an ottoman bed and are getting on a bit (like me) listen to good advice and order the automated hydraulics kit. I didn't and wish I had.

Another fantastic purchase from Vicky and her team at The Carriage - thank you! From helping me select the mattress (trying practically every option in the showroom!) to choosing the best base configuration to provide storage and selecting the right headboard and fabric, the quality of service made for a fantastic experience which was worth every penny.

You spend eight hours a day asleep (if you're lucky) so I'm glad that I'm now spending a third of my life in a fantastic bed that I know will last me well and has been crafted by experts and locally too!

Wonderful show room, fist class customer service and product knowledge from Vicky and her team. Mattress delivered yesterday (old one taken away! Bonus!) One night in and it’s the best decision we’ve made in 15 years. Can’t fault any aspect of ‘the carriage burley’ beds, mattresses and more.….

A super service from start to finish. We made an appointment with Vicky and spent 3 hours trying all the beds. Vicky gave us some initial info, left us to try them out and periodically returned to answer our questions. Good advice, no hard sell and excellent communication and service after placing the order. Delivery was great too and hats off to them, they certainly earned their weekend treats. An incredibly pleasant experience. Thank you.

My father bought a mattress from The Carriage earlier in the month. He couldn’t have had a better experience. He visited the shop to try out the mattresses and felt like there was a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to buy anything. When the mattress was delivered the team were extremely helpful and made sure he was happy with everything before they left. Thank you for looking after him!

Called in to buy a new mattress at 1 pm. Had one in stock. It was delivered within four hours and the old mattress removed. We’ve slept the best in years. Superb service and product. Highly recommend the Carriage

I recently bought a new mattress from The Carriage in Burley In Wharfedale and found it a most helpful experience
I explained I had a back problem and Vicky was so knowledgable explaining the different types of mattresses and how they were made and the materials the manufacturers used etc
She spent so much time with me and I found it was a very pleasant experience
When my mattress was delivered again it was done with care and was placed in my bedroom on the base and the old one was taken away
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the company it’s was first class ….

We discovered that The Carriage were stockists of a bed we were interested in and initially contacted the showroom by telephone and spoke with Vicky. Vicky couldn’t have been more helpful so we took the plunge and visited the showroom. We actually chose a different bed to the one we had enquired about and this was ordered and delivered within three weeks; this was exceptional service as we had been let down by one of the large furniture retailers after waiting nearly 16 weeks for a bed we had ordered. We later decided to return to The Carriage and also bought a mattress. Superb family run business and one I would highly recommend.

Vicky is a wealth of knowledge on Somnus beds, I’m so glad we found the Carriage online.
As we were unable to attend the showroom , she was able to advise and guide us at every step. This was invaluable, as not all retailers are knowledgeable about the brand. If we had specific questions , she was always able to answer directly, or find out quickly for us from the manufacturer. With quite a big investment, there was a real depth of reassurance in going with the Carriage, and Vicky’s approach is the perfect combination of professional and friendly. The delivery of our purchases by the family team, has always been spot on. We are so impressed with the Carriage and would definitely recommend to friends.
