The City Case Review
Buying tickets from City Case was very convenient, much better than buying them in France. We underestimated the jet lag and had a extra day or two's worth of tickets when we left. The agent's recommendation that we could haul luggage down & up subway stairs after we got off the airport bus and needed to get to our hotel near Victor Hugo's place resulted in much pain and an expensive visit to a chiropractor. Perhaps if I were 30 years younger it would have been OK. A taxi would have cost more, but would have been well worth the extra money.
Worked as expected
The passes were easy to use and we got around Paris with little confusion
I recommend them highly.
Extremely good value from a great company.
I bought our Paris City Passes after doing extensive research and realizing that City Case offered the absolute best deal. The delivery from San Francisco was extremely quick. Then, my 97-year-old mother became gravely ill and we had to cancel our trip to Paris. City Case folks were incredibly understanding and gave us a full refund when we explained our circumstances and returned the passes. I will definitely do business with them again. A great, professional organization. A pleasure!
Thank you!
Great service!
We received our passes and they met all our expectations. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend.
Best way around Paris

Just what we needed.
Just what we needed to get us into the various museums expeditiously. When traveling, your time is your most important asset. The passes insured that we would be able to see what we wanted in the time available.
Would buy again just not to stand in museum lines.
I had no problem using my city case vouchers. In a review I read that some had problems with the Seine boat but I had no problem. It saved tons of time and let me go in and out of museums on my schedule. I'll buy another the next time is travel.
Your Paris museum pass and metro pass made our much too short stay a great experience
By using the Paris museum pass, we did not have to wait in lines at any of the must see museums. This was especially helpful at the louvre where the line was a half mile long and it was raining cats and dogs. It also ensured that we visited some museums that we might have skipped. The Metro pass was a godsend for getting around the heart of Paris. We received our documents within days of our order. We recommended these documents to Rick Steve's tourist followers.
The passes were delivered as promised and were a good value.
We bought the LOpenTour bus pass, the 3 day city transit pass for the subway, and the boat tour on the Seine, and the Museum pass. The bus was a great way to get an overview of the city of Paris. The subway passes were also used to get around Paris. The Museum passes were also well worth the money as we could skip the lines in places like the Louvre. The Seine boat ride was a highlight of our trip. I think that the City Case tickets were a good value.
Tremendous Value!
This was a great savings of time & money. Each of the museumswe went to- no lines, immediate entry! Also, the On and
Off tour bus was great!
Delivered exactly what was ordered! Well done
Easy to order, great service and value excellent
Highly recommend
Fast service!
At the last minute we ordered and had our passes in hand before we left the house.
Good product. Terrible customer service
I purchased a City Case package online as a Christmas present for my girlfriend who is traveling for spring break. The price was ok. The web site was informative. The product sounds promising and will hopefully live up to expectations. The customer service however, is terrible and suspect in a creepy way. I received an email from the "City Case Team" asking for my travel dates for shipping purposes. The web site specifically states that the passes they sell are activated with use and don't have any preset expiraton date. So why would they need specific dates and why would they delay shipping for 2 weeks (about the time I noticed the unopened email in the strain) in the interest of making my desired travel dates. It's a good thing my travel dates aren't soon! No where in the site or shipping/ordering form do they require travel dates!!! But apparently that information is important enough to delay a present! Uncalled for! Inconvenient! Creepy! They don't need to know these dates! Had they really been concerned with my travel plans they would have shipped the package immediately as they were instructed! Also, how creepy is it that a perfect stranger is asking without cause for the dates my girlfriend (in this particular case) will be out of town and abroad in a foreign country. The only reason they have 2 stars instead of 1 is the website and the hope that the product itself will not disappoint and frustrate as much as the customer service did.
Seek and ye shall find!
As with everything else, do your home work, read all the fine print and be realistic about your abilities to travel to and take in sites, museums and attractions in the amount of time you are going to be in Paris.
Everything in this package was outlined well. Even the size and design of the pass was great....fit in my pocket! The only thing wrong was my personal expectations for being able to take in more than one could actually take in. I bought the Museum pass and in one week's time I could barely get through 5 places. Unless you are staying for an extended period of time the 20 + museums and attractions on the museum pass are impossible to even travel to in one week. It would be nice if they had packages with only selected museums for less money. The line at the Louvre for the Museum Pass did not exist the day we went there, we had to wait with the general population, as we were told by three different Louvre guides. Versailles also did not accommodate the Pass, although that was mentioned on the pass. We were able to circumvent the lines at the Musee D'Orsey, the L'Orangerie and at the National Ceramic Museum (although there was an extra fee there). I was unrealistic in thinking I could travel to more than one venue a day at my age. When I packed two museums into one day I found myself rushing. Did not want to rush! I ended up not even using the extra tickets I purchased for the River boat ride and the Opera House, so that was a waste of money. So be realistic about how much you can do. Having the museum pass was great, made things easier. Just cutting the lines at the Musee D'Orsey made me smile.....that 2 1/2 hour line was worth 100 bucks in my opinion!.
The metro pass on the other hand, was WONDERFUL! The Parisian metro is the best public transportation system I have ever ridden on. With the Metro Pass I was able to use it multiple times a day.
If I had to do it again I would definitely get the Metro Pass and ask for another Museum Pass....perhaps 7 choices for the week with a reduced rate would be a better way to offer it.
Great price, reliable service !
the service was reliable, my passes came in before my travel date. Passes worked great and it was very easy to use. The price is excellent!
good customer service
I would do business with them again. They were out of the museum passes but were responsive and sent them to arrive when expected.
Great service and prompt delivery!
We are going to Paris in May 2014 and ordered the two day museum pass. We received the passes as expected. Great service and follow up.
Extremely professional and helpful
They responded promptly to all my questions. Very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company. I would use them again!
Great customer service answered questions fast
The delivery was fast and sooner than I thought. They communicated what was going on with order. Package contained what I ordered. Answered any questions I had within 24 hrs. Too soon to really rate because I haven't used the package yet
