Matt cooked a birthday celebration dinner for 6 friends which was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by us all. He was very willing to accommodate our various quirky needs without fuss allowing us to have a very relaxed evening. I would highly recommend his venison lasagne.

The best private chef in the Cotswolds
We had the most amazing food and experience with Matt, what a talented cook he is! Very personable and clean too. The food was to die for, and the portions were a very good size, we all had happy tummies when he left. I would recommend him to anyone.

Amazing food with impeccable service.
We had the pleasure of The Countryman Chef (Matt) for a 50th birthday dinner.
From start to finish he made the entire experience incredibly special.
The food was absolutely stunning. Taste, presentation and delivery was fabulous.
High quality ingredients, locally sourced with a seasonal theme made our evening a night to remember.

Phenomenal food and 5 star service!!
We booked Matt, the country man chef for a special dining in experience during our stay at one of the local lake houses. Our experience was phenomenal from start to finish!! We chose a bespoke menu including scallops, a fillet of beef main and the most divine chocolate dessert. He talked us through each course in detail which was very interesting. His passion and knowledge of cooking was evident throughout the whole experience. The service by Matt and is team was also 5 star being very friendly and attentive. An overall outstanding experience! We will definitely be booking our next dining experience soon.

The team looked after our party so well, spending time to cater to all our needs and making the experience so personal, hassle-free and fun - they really helped make the occasion special.
