Raw food always arrives perfectly from this company, the meat looks good, smells good. Always turns up still frozen. Any query you have is swiftly handled.

Have been using Butchers tins for breakfast for years we have 3 Weimaraner’s perfect in every way - never upset tummy - (they have raw at night )
Great value at Costco too - highly recommend !

I don't know this place existed until yesterday, i went to order my normal rabbit from and it was out of stock, so i checked my other place and they had rabbit but not the rest i wanted. Not ideal when i needed a Christmas order for my ferrets.
So a Google search popped up this place and i thought oh i will just do a small order to see me through and see if they was any good.
Placed my order yesterday morning and thought let's see.
24 hours later it's arrived
All looks great equally as good as i normally use a few things look better.
Packaging great, the prices was good and the ferrets all war danced about the box excitedly so i guess it smelt good to them lol
So really really pleased thank you and i will pop back in be year and order the dogs stuff as well.

Have been using this company for years now and they're just the best!!
Fabulous fresh meat, fantastic quality and my dogs just love it. Over the years have tried other brands, just for a change for the dogs, but they totally prefer this company.
Nothing is ever too much for them if you've got a question and they'll go out of their way to get the order to you in time. I'm in a 48hour delivery zone, all the way up north in Scotland, and never once has there been a problem in all those 7 years! Not even in hot weather; well packed and still frozen on arrival. Hats off to them all.

Amazing dog butchers! My little furry child absolutely loves this mince! They offer everything needed for her complete RAW food diet, fast delivery and excellent customer service!

First order my dog loves it. Good mix of variety and looks high quality meat. only reason for 4 stars was due to damaged packaging of some of the meat containers looks like box may have been dropped at some point

On line Ordering very easy, confirmation order immediately received, when packed ready informed, Packed well by Dex (Does it need extra packaging, probably not), DPD confirm expecting from TDB, DPD confirm receipt, DPD give accurate time of delivery, DPD drivers always good. I have been using The Dogs Butcher for about a year. The service is always excellent and the delivery by DPD is always quick and on time. The meat supplied has always been of good quality and our dog loves it.

Been using the company on and off for years and seen them grow during my time using tdb moving premises, trying to find reliable courtiers and consulting customers on what packaging to use to be as sustainable as possible while trying to stay as environmentally friendly as possible and during it all I have experienced great customer service and help and nothing has been to much trouble for them I would recommend this company and quality of food to anyone wishing to feed raw properly. They don't cut corners with their products like most other companies and tdb are true pioneers in the raw food world making it easy to do with trusted quality

The food quality is fantastic (made my mouth water)!
Great staff my mother had a fall and had to head away to see her and I had ordered on bank holiday. I contacted them and they literally got it sent out as soon as was possible. Luckily arrived before I left and that was the staff that made that happen. Saw someone on other site complain about post cost, I'm lost. It's quality frozen food packed really well (bought from other places over years and not so well packed elsewhere) arrives frozen and it's £9 DPD to me in Scottish borders. It's about a pound for a stamp!!!

First time ordering from Thedogsbutcher because my previous supplier was out of stock. I was extremely pleased with my order of 20kg of lamb tripe. It was packaged extremely well indeed (unlike my previous supplier) both for carriage by DPD and for me to store the lamb tripe in the freezer. It came in 1kg sealed trays. I have seen and read the negative reviews on this Trustpilot re the company's communication with their clients. I was very surprised because I can only say that when I rang up with a query prior to the DPD delivery the call was answered promptly, politely and friendly and my query resolved. I was impressed with the service and the product. I will be re-ordering again. Their website was extremely informative too, a credit to them.

I have been a customer at Dogs Butcher for a long time. I have always been satisfied with the service and my dog seems to enjoy the meat provided. My dog has a number of food intolerances so being able to purchase single protein food is very helpful. Thank you very much for the help and advice too.

Great service, good quality raw meat which I have feeding my dogs for 4 years + now

Can't recommend the dogs butcher enough absolutely great product with loads of choice , ive raw fed about 12 yrs and tried many different brands sone good some not so good ! One of my 4 dogs has always had a delicate tummy but since being on TDB his tummy and poo's have been great . Easy to order and great communication never had a problem with deliveries 😊

I've been ordering from The Dog Butcher since lock down when I switched my then bully abd yorkie to raw. I now also raw feed my Maine Coon kittens which I now diy rather than buy minces. I love the variety that TDB provide, I tend to feed up to 8 proteins a week and a mix of 75/15/10 as advised for giant breed kittens. Their diy chunks, organ and bone selection makes this a breeze to do and for me personally very enjoyable. Due to their reasonable prices each batch I make is a different mix whether that protein or organ (keeping liver in as min 5% of organ of course.) They have kept their high standards consistent throughout the years I have been using them. Can it sometimes be frustrating when you miss the restock? Yes it can be but this just goes to show the quality that TDB provide, and if there out of stock on something I know another trusted supplier that stocks TDB that I can fall back on I ever need anything urgently. Keep up the good work

Had an absolutely awful experience with the owner and her daughter. I wrote an email to inform them that the new horse 80-10-10 meal was causing issues for my dog as it had a higher percentage of bone than stated and I had spoken to other owners who were having the same issue. I stressed that I wasn't making a complaint but informing them as I use their products for my dog with food intolerances. They replied in an email that others who were having issues would need to email them with photos. I put a post on a raw feeding page asking others with issues to also email them which they wanted so they could check if it was a singular batch issue or multi batch issue.

I then get an email asking why I've put a post on the raw feeding group and they find it really odd. Then her daughter or someone working for her replied to my post saying they never said this and the owner had denied saying it too. I have the exact messages so they have just lied about wanting others to email them with photos.

Worst of all another member on the page then informs me that the daughter/employee has taken a screen shot of my post and put it on the dogs butchers own private Facebook group presumably to laugh at or be nasty towards me behind my back. So now they may have shared my personal information to a group of strangers I do not know in a private group because I informed them about an issue with their product so they could rectify it.

I searched back on the group and as soon as someone has a query about any of the dogs butcher's products the owner Jo becomes extremely defensive and rude as she has been towards me.

It's obvious this is a reoccurring issue with the manager and her daughter as many reviews on Google and trustpilot are saying the same but Jo accuses everyone of lying. Hundreds of people would not be lying for the sake of it, especially when I'm not requesting a refund, only for them to look into the product.

This is the worst I've ever treated by a business owner and I'll have to take my money elsewhere.

Cue the owner replying to this review saying I'm making it all up as she has done to all the previous Google and trustpilot reviews.
