Very prompt appointment (next day), which was on schedule. Thorough examination. Wax removal did not improve the hearing, but I had fluid in the inner ear. The treatment of this, with Otovent, has been very successful Thank you.

I’ve used Simon previously and have recommended him to a few colleagues as he is very thorough and explains what he is doing. His surgery is spotlessly clean and he is very organised. Simon sorted out my earwax issues and completely cleared my issues. It was easy to make my booking although Simon keeps and sends diary reminders to patients for annual appointments. Simon is such a personable, professional practitioner. I couldn't believe that he solved a problem with my ear within two weeks of treatment! I had seen an ENT specialist (after waiting 17 months for an appointment!) He is so knowledgeable and was determined to find out what my problem was...and he did! The ENT specialist had tried to fob me off by telling me to use olive oil every day for any, and all, of my symptoms...which of course didn't work! I will definitely have a check up for my hearing with Simon annually because hearing is so precious, it needs to be protected and I trust him implicitly!

I had another excellent visit to Simon who checked my ears before a have an NHS reassessment in a couple of days.
He was so pleasant and helpful and fully understood why i needed this.
I cannot recommend him highly enough, he really is such a genuine and caring chap also very professional with it.

The whole experience was excellent. The waiting room was pleasantly decorated with relaxing music and the consultation room was big and spotlessly clean.
The consultation was informative and everything was explained before, during and after my eats were cleaned out.
I would attend again if I had any issues with my ears.

I highly recommend The Ear Specialist (Ryde, Isle of Wight). I recently attended to have microsuction on both ears and it is a great success. My hearing is restored and that annoying clogged feeling (and buzzing) has gone, which is a great relief. He is an excellent practitioner: courteous, gentle and happy to explain every step of the process. He also allows plenty of time to discuss any issues - the appointments never feel rushed.

I have used the Ear specialist twice now and both times he made me feel at ease as I was very nervous. I can't recommend him enough. Worth every penny.

Made me feel completely at ease. Explained the procudure fully so I knew what to expect. Was very efficient. Appointment easy to book and readily available which was extremely helpful as I was experiencing huge problems with my ears. It was such a relief to have the troublesome wax removed and I have not had any further problems with my ears since. Many thanks.
