It's been 24 days since I payed for a bit on their website and it has still not arrived. I have written several times, and they don't respond. Don't buy from them, you'll loose your money like I did!!!
First time purchase from this company
First time purchase from this company, Excellent service from The Horse Bit shop. Bought a Bomber eggbut happy tongue bit on trial on the understanding that I may get a used bit for trial but luckily got a brand new one. Notification emails kept me up to date fully with tracking number etc...arrived as expected three days after they posted it.
Tried it on our horse today and she has loved it immediately so luckily won't need the trial and won't need to exchange for a new one as a new one was sent!!
Just a brilliant, easy and fast service! May buy a spare for the dressage bridle!!

Unfortunately a bad experience
Update!: Today the 24th of march, I received my bit. It is in a good condition, and excactly what I ordered.
I hope in the future it will be easier to get in contact with Thehorsebitshop if I make an order, as the bits are fine, and the concerns would not be present, if they respond when contacted👌

Unfortunately my experience with the horsebitshop has not been good.
I ordered a bit from them on the 7th of february, and they withdrew the money from my account on the 9th. After that I received no tracking information, which i thought was a little strange, so I tried to contact them. I tried to reach them from the 9th to the 16th via facebook, emails, phone and instagram with no luck, but autogenerated asnwers telling me that my message has been forwarded to their ticket system. With this going on for almost a week, and me being from another country, I got worried, and decided to make a trustpilot evaluation. And then luckely they answered me minutes after the evatluation being posted. They were waiting for my bit to arrive from Holland, and it took a little extra due to the pandemic. That off course is perfectly fine, and understandable, I just wanted to be told, and not ignored. They expected the bit to arrive thursday the 18th and then they would send it to me. I deleted my evaluation on trustpilot, and didn´t feel worried anymore.
After the 18th I still received no tracking information, and once again I contacted thehorsebitshop to ask whether they received it as planned, and if it had now been sent to me or not? Like the last attempt, I have now tried to reach them for 6 days without any answer but the automaticly generated autoreply. They should have received my bit for (expected) 12 days ago, but I have no idea if it is on the way or not. It is almost a month since i ordered, and had the money withdrawn from my account. If it is delayed, it would be perfectly fine, as long as I just got answers on my multiple contact attempts. I don´t know if I will ever hear from them or get any bit, but I will off course give an update in here as soon as there is any news!
