Great ordering experience and really pleased with items. Kooky and unique and reasonably priced.

The customer service was prompt and detailed. It gave me the confidence to expect delivery of my goods, at estimated delivery dates, and also informed me that the items may be delivered separately . I had the sense therefore, that my order was secure, and I will therefore purchase from “House Of Bloc” in the future. I look forward to “gifting” these decorative “House Birds”🐦

Not your normal homeware brand! Yet to receive my purchase but I will be back for more I am certain. The online experience is so smooth. A creative website with easy to navigate functions. Research results allow you to head back to previous items with ease. Style info is clear and size options available to view with item preview.

I initially gave this company a 1 star review as I had not received certain items and ones I had received were incorrect, and I was getting no reply by email. Since then I have been in contact and returned the wrong items and received the correct products. The products themselves are not really worth the price attached to them and are clearly shipped from China. For example, the tomato lamp we bought looks great but you cannot change the bulbs as the bottom has a rubber "foot" glued on so you would have to cut this off to get inside. The image on the website of the clock I bought has clearly been done on a computer as it looks much more detailed than the clock I received. I am happy to keep it but it was not worth the hitch price they charge. The clock looks like an item I could get on eBay for £10-15 but was £39.99 on House of Bloc's website (and this was the sale price).

Had an issue with an item broken in delivery, customer services were super helpful and sorted the issue immediately

The usual story - the products look a certain size in the photos, but smaller when they arrive. I think I was only happy with one item out of the 5 of so that have arrived. One high price lantern is dinky and made of crappy plastic, with a wonky base. Too overpriced for the quality. To be fair to them, they have said I can return the items if I'm not happy with them.

Order placed weeks ago, still no delivery or tracking. Wrote through email and Facebook messenger and still nothing. Absolute scam!!

The orders you receive are from Aliexpress. Better order directly then and pay half price.

The house of bloc team very kindly amended my order when I accidentally ordered the wrong pair of slippers :)

Great products and great service

Like another reviewer said, seems like they’re just ordering things off AliExpress and hiking the price - do a reverse google image search.

Asked for an update after waiting nearly 3 weeks for some overpriced mugs; received a reply saying they’d be shipped “in due course”. Ostensibly based in the UK but likely delayed due to waiting for it to arrive with them from China.

Don’t waste your money.

Update: items arrived and were not as described - not temperature resistant, dented and generally poor quality. Shipped from China, as expected. The company wanted me to return the items before issuing a refund, but it wouldn’t have been worth the expense of the packaging.

The same mug was £1.36 on AliExpress, and they charged me £14.99 for simply placing the order on my behalf from what I can tell.

Edit: Response here says they’ve offered me a refund - they have not, and this is just an attempt to obfuscate how they operate as a dropshipping company. The mugs are clearly visible on AliExpress - with even the same images used - for the price I’ve indicated, and are very low quality.

This company is a scam.
The order was placed before Christmas 2024, with delivery time 2 weeks. It's February 11th, still no delivery. They stopped to respond the moment the order was made.
There's no tracking, the order just doesn't exist.
Avoid these scammers.

I have ordered few pieces in November last year. One of the items did not arrive even after the due date. Then I finally got a letter from Fedex to pay import tax from CHINA! I did that and the piece came completely broken. I sent all the information to the customer service and now, February 5th I still haven't received any refund or explanation how to proceed. They are not answering emails and apparently are on holiday! Please be very careful when buying anything from them!

Great quality product - I ordered 2 of the children's towels which I use in the kitchen to dry my hands. Prompt delivery.

Feels so scammy. I made an order that specifically said that I would receive it before Christmas. I'm writing this in February and still havent received anything (even a tracking number).
They said they took 'family time' during XMas and that's why I didn't receive my order. They said they'd send me a new tracking number and it's been a month that I haven't heard from them.
Now that I'm asking for a refund, I get an automated email telling me they are 'taking vacaction due to a very busy XMas Holiday', which they said the oposite in previous mails. I hope I'll see my money again someday.

Well, the bath mat I ordered arrived in only 10 days, so the system works fine. The problem is that it looks nothing like the pictures on the website, the quality is very very poor. It is so bad that I don't think I will ever use it. It looks like a white carpet colored badly with a dried out marker. I would send it back if only the return policy was easier....
