Order never arrived and my follow up email has been ignored!

I have negatively reviewed this company before on a different TripAdvisor page. It appears they're using a new one since then. I can't speak on whether it was to hide my review or not, but either way that was the result and I would like to keep the people informed of this company.

Reverse image search any of the listings on the website and you will find it on AliExpress for far, far cheaper. It will be the same product and the same quality, as I have proof that this company sends the products straight from AliExpress or other dropshipping websites.

You are paying for them to use AliExpress for you. This company charges exorbitant prices for products that are not high in quality, are not regulated, and may legitimately be unsafe for use.

This review is relevant as I have gone to the website and can confirm that the items are still listed on both House of Bloc AND AliExpress.

Please note: I did not spam anything. I commented once on their social media and got blocked so I went to their live chat to communicate with the company. Talk about defamatory.

Good quality cushions and happy with delivery time

I would like to say something about the quality but my order placed in November didn't arrive and my email was not answered.

Poor quality items, purchased some floor cushions that bobbled and easily ripped. Customer service is totally inept and refused to acknowledge the issues. In retrospect the site doesn’t post reviews.

All was well inside, and I love it. Quick delivery too. Just had a bumpy ride with the courier 😊

Horrible communication, product was never shipped. I'd recommend you order elsewhere, also still waiting on my refund.

Amazing customer service when my order didn’t quite go with the decor of my house like I had envisioned!

My teenager is trying to turn her bedroom into an 80s time capsule, and I was looking for some home décor with a difference to help her on her quest! She is pretty “discerning” (read, fussy!) about exactly what she wanted and I though I’d never find it, especially in time for Christmas but then I stumbled upon House of Bloc!! The neon “Cocktails & Dreams” sign looked even better than I’d hoped for (but unfortunately for me did not come with Tom Cruise á la Cocktail)!! I ordered a week or so before Christmas with no hope of it arriving, but it was delivered really quickly all ready for the big day! Also, when the second part of my order seemingly went astray, HoB were super friendly and helpful in offering to look into it, even though embarrassingly the problem was me not looking hard enough (although Yodel, IN the hedge?? So safe I couldn’t see it!!) Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend House of Bloc: the items I ordered are great value and high quality and super cool, I have a happy teenager and I can’t wait to order some more!

Wide choice of products, easy checkout!

The product is cheap looking, looks barely like the photos and is giving temu quality.

I bought a rug and it looks like it’s been printed on as the underneath is white. It’s also not rug material.

Also had a weird chemical smell and took 15 days to arrive - so probably a drop shipping company.

The online shop was easy to navigate and had some amazing stock. I also received free shipping and customs paid for. Really smooth shopping experience.

Wendy and Adam helped me on numerous occasions. Firstly, Wendy retrospectively applied a discount code that was missed off my initial order. Secondly Adam raised a replacement order when my parcel got lost in the Evri supply chain. Amazing customer service; I really appreciated everything you did to help me get my order in time for Christmas. Thank you both.

Item exactly as described, came early and when I had an issue accessing the tracking number they replied quickly and gave me the direct tracking link. Very satisfied and would order again.

I recently placed an order with House of Bloc for 2 of their teddy armchairs.. (intended for Xmas presents) but my experience has been far from satisfactory. The main issue stems from their lack of transparency about delivery times. Their website offers no clear information about when to expect my order, and on querying this with their customer service team, have been told that the terms of delivery are on the website (there are no clear descriptors for their larger items)

When I reached out to their customer service team for clarification, the response was underwhelming. There was no acknowledgment of my concern or any attempt to provide specific details about my order’s whereabouts. Instead, I received generic responses that did nothing to alleviate my frustration.

Clear communication and transparency are basic expectations when shopping online, and unfortunately, House of Bloc fell short on both fronts. I would hesitate to order from them again.
