I bought a rug but it isn't really a rug. It is more like a synthetic blanket material with a non-slip in the bottom. Would not buy again!

Good expérience. The company has answered my questions fast and clearly. The buying process is satisfying.

The delivery dates on the product description are not accurate. It promise fast delivery, it even show a date range. But in reality it's not like that. The delivery dates are far from accurate. I only bought a product because of the delivery date range, it still didn't get my delivery. So, if you're looking for reliable delivery time frame, this is not your shop.

-Edit1 05/12/24 - Still didn't get my delivery, and on the website when I made the purchase, the lead time for the delivery was from the 26th of November to the 03rd of December, not 3 weeks as per answer below.
And right now, the same product on the shop has the delivery between 12th and 19th of December (2 weeks lead time) so it's still the same delivery window, not 3 weeks as per shop answer.
Edit 2- I did get the delivery on the third week. That would not be a problem if correctly advised.

The colours are not as bright and vibrant, not to mention, the mugs don't look like the ones on display, I understand all mugs are unique, but if the colours were as lively as the displayed ones, I would've understand. Disappointed, too expensive, for nothing, and they're supposed to be a Christmas gift !

The cups I bought are practical and quirky now my main drinking cup. Communication was quick and helpful I didn’t realise shipping can take upto 14 days which doesn't matter if not buying for a gift. I love the concept of quirky and fun designs and I will be buying more stuff from HOB!

After they took out the payment, I asked for a delivery date. Got a mail that they could not deliver my item at this moment!!! No reason why!!
Awaiting my refund!!
A shame as I really like their stuff.

The website is well designed, I particularly liked the "quick view" function, but a lot of products did not have very detailed descriptions - for example care instructions.

I regret ever ordering from this company. My experience has been nothing but frustrating, with poor communication, constant delays, and zero accountability.

I placed my order over a month ago, and it has been a nightmare ever since. Items arrived broken, some never arrived at all, and getting a refund or resolution has been a constant uphill battle. I’ve had to chase them repeatedly, and their responses have been slow and dismissive.

Despite promises to arrange collections and refunds, I was left waiting for weeks. Meanwhile, other companies like DHL, Parcelforce, and Evri successfully collected parcels from my address without any issues. It’s clear the problem lies with this company’s processes.

To make matters worse, they blame their inability to process refunds on a chargeback I had to open because of their endless delays and poor service. If they had resolved the matter in the first place, the chargeback wouldn’t have been necessary.

Overall, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of ordering from here to look elsewhere.

This is an update to my previous feedback. I have received my order. the order was exactly as I had expected and I am happy. I ordered the chairs on May 18th of 2024. I received my order about October 18th of 2024. A couple of suggestions - (1) Customer Service - Replying to customers is essential, because I had not heard about the status of my order after multiple (multiple is an understatement) emails, I assumed that I had been the subject of fraud, especially since they had been paid for six months prior. (2) I ended up buying another set of chairs since I thought I would never see these chairs, so, it made my experience more expensive, not to mention the hassles. (3) If it is an international order, please make sure it is very clear to your consumers what you need to make sure your products clear customs in the chain of delivery. (4) My friends and business associates really like these chairs, design and comfort. They are hesitant to order based on my experience. Please consider this an update to my previous review. Thank you.

Good product and shopping experience but it took 8 days to arrive.

I ordered a carpet on this site, that was delivered on November 11. This article did not respect my expectations and the quality was really cheap.
For these reasons, I wrote an email sent on November 14 to return it back.
No response obviously. I don’t recommended this site, high price, bad quality and false information about returning articles.

Rug and slippers were exactly as shown in pictures. Bright colors and the fluffiest material.

The customer service is great - super quick replies and cooperative answers. But it should be stated in their FAQ that "they cannot offer prepaid labels to countries outside of the UK". At the moment the FAQ states "Please contact us regarding your return. A lot of items will benefit from pre-paid returns."

The House of Bloc is a wonderful website. The customer service was amazing so would highly recommend this company.
