Excellent family holiday experience in Costa Rica. Paddy at the LATC helped us put together an amazing holiday comprising of activities with periods of relaxation at a budget we could afford. The accommodations were great and the transfers punctual, which eased the stress of organisation. Would thoroughly recommend both Costa Rica and the Latin America Travel Company.

We had a 5 week tailor made trip put together by The Latin America Travel Company. It was to visit Chile and Argentina. Self drive through Patagonia, city breaks in Santiago, Valparaiso and Buenos Aires plus a NW Argentina tour and the Atacama.
The various in country agents in general were very good and everything pretty much went to plan. Where there was the odd hiccup things were resolved. Accommodation ranged from excellent, very high end, to some that slightly over promised and under delivered. Overall a very memorable trip and one I would recommend without hesitation to others.

Everything from the booking process to the trip itself was excellent. Having had to rebook from September due to illness, the company both in Uk and Peru made it the most memorable experience for me.

The guides were amazing with their knowledge and passion for sharing it a joy to be part of. I cannot recommend them highly enough or thank them enough for creating the trip of a lifetime.

We met at a travel show in Manchester, and even though London based , clearly their knowledge was first rate. We decided we wanted to visit Macha Pichu and Iguana so a tour to Peru and Argentina was built around these two key locations, all the extra trips and tours built into our 2 week trip was excellent. The guides, the support teams, the private transfers all perfect. We did think we had paid a lot, but with all the first class support package it was justified. Give them a try if you have a bespoke trip idea.

Michael was very responsive about tailoring our trip to our specific wishes. He added a waterfall visit, white water rafting, and a regional flight to San Jose to the other wonderful excursions. Each resort was even better than the last one, our mouths dropping open in amazement. The drivers and tour guides truly made our trip memorable! We will be returning with our adult kids in the future.

The Latin America Travel Co set up a bespoke tour for us including Peru for Machu Picchu, Buenos Aries, Iguazu and Rio. The trip was amazing, so many wonderous things to see and such different cultures. Such varied tours including a boat ride on Lake Titicaca, a wonderful train journey from Puno to Cusco (like the Orient Express!), a dingy ride below the Igazu falls and a tango show in Buenos Aries.
We were so well looked after by the tour guides. We were picked up from the airports, taken take our hotels and on the tours they were so friendly and knowledgeable. Also when you leave they ensure you are checked in and see you right up to security, the service was wonderful. The hotels too were excellent with first class restaurants.

Brilliantly organised trip to Peru and Brazil. Good coverage of attractions, well curated hotels and fabulous team supporting us on the ground. Our group of 12 people enjoyed the trip immensely and all thanks to Christian and Latin America Travel Company and their local partners for the experience. A very good option for anyone travelling to South America to consider!

When looking at where we wanted to go for our honeymoon, me & my partner decided on South American (mainly Machu Picchu and Rio de Janeiro). We looked around at different companies asking for quotes, and came across the Latin America Travel Company. From first contact we felt extremely confident that they could provide what we wanted. Within a day Gregg had phoned us to go through a possible itinerary, and explained everything that they would provide for us. From that first conversation, we felt very confident and compared to other quotes we received, the proposed cost was a lot more affordable, and matched our budget perfectly. Communication throughout was great, with emails replied to within a day or two. They also put together large guide books and bespoke itinerary guides which were sent to us in the weeks before. These only built our excitement, and made us feel even more confident with what had been organised.
To the actual trip: we spent 3 weeks doing the "Best of Peru, Argentina, and Brazil" tour. Everything went absolutely perfectly, with every tour, hotel, transport and internal flight arranged for us. All we had to do was book the international flights, and everything else was arranged for us. As Latin America is new to us, having everything arranged took a big weight of our shoulders, and we were able to have the best honeymoon possible. I would definitely recommend Gregg and the Latin America Travel Company, and will look to book with them again in the future.

The advice and help we received in planning our trip to Argentina was excellent from the beginning, we particularly felt that our specific objectives for the trip were listened to and the whole tour carefully crafted to meet our requirements. Because of that we had the most amazing time, each day brought a new surprise and we came home at the end of 3 weeks feeling we'd had the best holiday we've ever had. Hopefully we'll return to South America in the future and will definitely look to the Latin American Travel Company to arrange things if we do..!!!

From start to finish, Christian went above and beyond to ensure our trip was seamless, enjoyable, and filled with incredible experiences.

What an amazing tour! We were a group of 13 friends from UK, Ireland & Kuwait and between 50-60yrs of age. Wanted to travel Peru mainly but also wanted to see the Magnificent Iguazu falls in Brazil & Argentina and lastly relax in Rio-de-Jeneiro. Our time was limited too and Christian patiently listened and created a varied itinerary to suit us all. The hotels he chose were excellent! some touching upon luxury rest very comfortable and good service. His local tour operators were top notch, prompt and smooth transfer of baggage's and even checked us in at various internal airports across these countries with the English speaking guides. The service was impeccable. Despite the long flight delay for some of us from UK, was quite impressed with Christian as he constantly kept in touch with us reassuringly and informed the team at the destination. A very pleasant and helpful tour agent I would recommend and go back to him in future. He had created a very memorable trip for all of us. Thank you Christian.

We were a group of 13 people and we went to Peru & Brazil. The whole tour from day 1 was very well organised and we had a fantastic time. Every little detail was taken care of with utmost care and professionalism. All the local tours and guides were excellent. I would highly recommend taking a tour with them and I would travel with them again.

Chris was incredibly helpful throughout our whole travel planning process. I gave him a very broad list of things we wanted to see and do within a short period of time, and he made it all come to life! He was also honest about what was and wasn’t do-able within our time constraint and budget. He was very responsive and timely to every email despite my many questions. The companies he partners with in Argentina and Chile are wonderful and we felt safe throughout the whole vacation. However much you look online/at brochures to have the chance to say to someone these are the number of nights, this is what we like, what would you say we shouldn't miss and then have a tailored self-drive package created around that by a team who are supportive throughout was a fantastic experience.
A few things happened in Ecuador before we left which meant accommodation changed, no problem - dealt with and revised choices advised, Foreign Office advice not to travel in certain parts, again effectively and efficiently dealt with when the timing was right.
Working with local agents the guides and support in Ecuador were so well informed and perfect for our style of holidaying ... we like walking a lot. It also gave us a chance to really get to know several Ecuadorians.
A couple of confusing things were quickly sorted as soon as we raised the matters as we travelled. Pre-programmed satnav and wifi in car were a blessing.
The information shared before we left the UK was terrific; paper/electronic versions of maps including location of gas stations and potential eat places - as well as a few you may like these things to look at; a personalised book clearly showing all accommodation, and what the main places had to offer plus a book on the history and culture of Ecuador. Even a selection of useful Spanish words and phrases.
The places we stayed in were independent often family-run and each was unique in terms of the buildings style. Wonderful fresh food in each location. The best breakfasts we've experienced on many travels. For anyone travelling to Ecuador just learning a little Spanish goes a long way to happy faces and lots of laughter.
9 nights gives a taste of the country. The weather was on our side and we seemed to miss the rains that other parts were experiencing as we travelled down the Avenue of Volcanoes with a few shifts to the west and east of it. Have some fantastic photos and memories.
Our plans had to change so no visit to Guaycil but having landed/lay-over there on flights to and from Galapagos Isles and seeing the layout of it (so 'modern' and built on) kind of pleased we spent more time in Cuenca (fabulous place) and Quito (old and Commercial District interesting in their own ways) than originally planned.
Looking forward to planning another Latin America adventure with Gregg and the team.
