From our first contact with The Latin America Travel Company the communication and effort to meet our requirements was exceptional. The booking process was easy, efficient, and reassuring given that we were booking with a company that we had not previously heard of. Pre-trip information including recommendations for restaurants, where to visit etc. is very comprehensive and appreciated especially for somewhere like Rio. The whole trip was meticulously organised with local guides there to meet us, on time every time. The tour guides and tours throughout our tour of Rio, Iguazu Falls, and Buzios were excellent.
We highly recommend this company and thank Gregg Hannam for his attention to detail.

A first rate holiday organised in a consultative way, but with many great recommendations by Gregg and the team. Every connection and pick up through a five week trip was spot on by the ground agents who reacted quickly and brilliantly, at very short notice, after the wild fires in Valparaiso Chile. I can’t recommend The Latin American Travel Company enough.

We have travelled with the LATC before, to Costa Rica a few years ago. That was pretty much the best organised trip we have ever been on, and the care taken to match our interests with the itinerary exceptional.

Our travel this year is to Columbia. The quality of the advice and care taken in the itinerary is just as good as before. This time an untimely dose of Covid threw in a curved ball necessitating delay. Gregg hit the curved ball clean out of the park working with local agents to defer bookings rather than have them simply fall as cancellations.

Definitely going the extra mile and I cannot recommend the firm highly enough.

The advice from Gregg was first class in relation to my booking. He was always on hand to help with every little detail or concern.

We just completed a 2+ week trip to Argentina arranged by the LATC, that allowed us to visit 5 different parts of the country. It was very well put together and all hotels, flights, tours, etc. happened as planned. Kudos!

My Wife and I were mildly apprehensive about our trip, not being familiar with the customs, people, climate and elevations to be encountered in Peru, but on our first contact with you, Gregg, and the Latin America Travel Company and the very professionally produced supplied documentation, we felt more at ease. Peru is outside our holiday 'comfort zone' and the pre trip advice and itinerary was clearly explained and first class.

Throughout the holiday, everything went like clockwork. Despite having a flight cancelled and being re routed, your representative was waiting for us at the airport some hours after we should have arrived. Again, I would add that I am truly impressed by the efforts you and the Peru based representatives went to locate and return our suitcases, after being lost by the airline as a result of their cancellation. I would add that we booked our flights separately and not through Gregg.

All our guides were fantastic, helpful, friendly and very very knowledgeable, and were invaluable in giving us a historical education about the areas we were visiting.
The hotels chosen were fantastic, comfortable, clean and ideally placed throughout our trip, and the staff were superb.
The itinerary was perfect too, balancing stunning scenery, nature, cities and history.

We found Peru to be a fabulous country to visit and the Peruvian people we met were always friendly and welcoming. I was actually quite sad to have to leave!!

Once again, many thanks for going above and beyond in providing this superb holiday, and also for your assistance with the luggage issue which proved to us that you truly care for your customers!

The Latin America Travel company put together a great tailor made trip around Peru. The initial trip had to be post-poned due to the political situation in Peru and they rebooked everything for us at short notice. Gregg, Chris and the team were very helpful, answering all my questions before and during the trip very promptly.

The main reasons why I had such a great experience with my trip to Costa Rica were:
1 Gregg Hannam made the booking very easy and took away the stress. He responded quickly to any questions I had.
2 The tour guide Natalie was very professional and utilised all the time. All the excursions were great, we did and saw so much.
She was also very friendly and made our stay very memorable.

Our visit to the Rincon de Socorro was spectacular in every way - splendid setting, wonderful staff, excellent food, We would never have found this place in our own so we’re very glad to have been directed there by the Latin American Travel Comoany

The Latin America Travel Company are a fantastic company. We organised our trip before lockdown and then had to rearrange twice. John and Chris were fantastic, they moved everything seamlessly, were very reassuring and answered all questions. We have finally now had our trip to Costa Rica, it was exactly as promised, the accommodation was excellent, the guides were all knowledgable and everything happened seamlessly, would definitely recommend!

I booked a trip to Costa Rica through the Latin America Travel Company in January 2020, way before Covid took hold. I paid my deposit and started to look forward to a December 2020 trip. Then Covid happened and it was all up in the air. Happily, all worked out for me and I was able to take the trip. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for my cousin, who had to cancel 10 days before the planned trip due to lockdown in her state. John was excellent, adjusting the tour itinerary, and even repaying my cousin's deposit. He was always on hand at the end of the phone to answer my MANY questions before I left. The holiday itself was absolutely amazing and went smoothly from start to finish. John's choice of hotels were excellent, the transfers were seamless, the tours fantastic, and overall it was the trip I wanted it to be and more. When I found out two days before flying home that I needed a pre-flight covid test, the John's agents on the ground in Costa Rica, sorted everything out, taking a lot of the stress out of my last few days. I have travelled independently a lot over the years, but I am so glad I booked this trip through an agent. It took a lot of the stress away, and meant I could fully enjoy the holiday without worry. I could not have put together a better itinerary myself without doing a heap ton of research. Thank you. The bonus for me for my cousin cancelling is that I get to do it all again - with her. We will be using The Latin America Travel Company without hesitation.

The trip covered Quito to Guayaquil and then a week in the Galapagos. It was simply wonderful. I have been around the world a bit - 74 countries - but this was exceptional. The arrangements went perfectly and the warmth with which we were greeted was quite touching. The hotels were top class. The hacienda at Cotopaxi was incredible. The boat was luxurious. Even the wild life all appeared and posed faultlessly. Go now! Peter Shirley
