I contacted David Major regarding the replacement of MR16s which light some paintings. The colour has to be exact and the same regardless of wattage or beam angle. Philips Expert Color were specified along with the appropriate transformers and all sent to me very quickly.
They have met my specification perfectly.
As they are all the same colour (2700) they produce an excellent warm light that is perfect for the application.
My electrician was also very impressed so thanks for your advice and help. David was most helpful and would recommend him and theledspecialist.co.uk for any lighting application.

Very helpful staff, good advice

I ordered two high-power bulbs late one evening, and they were despatched the next morning, arriving two days later by normal post. Unfortunately, and surprisingly, one of them blew within minutes, so I had to return it, and received the replacement the next day. I am impressed by the company's efficiency.

With the plethora of choices available with the advent of LED bulbs, I find myself returning to The Led Specialist as a shop to buy bulbs from.

Why? Trustworthy and knowledgeable advice from subject matter experts coupled with a great website which is easy to use and find what you're after.

The LED Specialists cause unnecessary stress, anxiety and hassle. They took payment but did not send any confirmation of my order. I had the hassle of finding their email address and had to contact them about the problem. They were helpful but did not provide any explanation. Before they sent the confirmation email I had the horrible feeling I had been scammed which was completely unnecessary and unpleasant. Fortunately I used PayPal to pay so I would not have lost any money but it is still a lot of completely unnecessary hassle to sort things out.

Have had problems in the past with being sent the wrong items (twice) but not this time. Prompt dispatch, secured packaging..all as it should. thanks

Bulbs were terribly packaged, around three miles of clingfilm around the package the bulbs come in. Then in a plastic bag, so no real resistance to a drop. Unsuitable for posting. Took quite a while to get here, too.
Bulbs were fine, how, I'll never know!
Won't buy from this site again.

Finding a reliable LED supplier was a massive headache as there are a lot of suppliers out there and it is not easy identifying the good from the bad. I am so pleased that I looked at Trust Pilot reviews. As a complete LED novice, I had no real idea what I needed and Matthew went out of his way and offered me endless advice and support over many weeks regarding LEDs and their installation. He even put me in touch with Vel at the manufacturer who was also a credit to his organisation. It was a genuine pleasure dealing with this company and I will be sure to tell anybody I know who asks me about LEDs in the future.

I am absolutely clueless when it comes to replacing bulbs with ones that look the same. I reached out for help and emailed with a picture of my old one. David emailed back straight away with a suggestion which was better value than I was expecting! They had stock in so being local I was able to get all sorted same day.

Stellar customer service and great prices.

Mistakes happen and part of my order was not as I ordered (got non-dimmable LEDs instead of dimmable). Matthew promptly sent me the correct lights right away without any issue.

Kudos to everyone in this company, they really know how to have great prices AND great customer service at the same time, which is not as easy as it sounds! Others should learn from these guys.

Will always be my first port of call for any lighting purchases.
