We have purchased a number of items from little gem now, and have never been disappointed. Lou has always sat with us, gone through everything in fine detail, and made us some really lovely jewellery. A nice genuine family business.

A great experience from start to finish designing an engagement ring. Lots of guidance and advice without any pressure, and James has designed the most beautiful trilogy ring. My fiancée absolutely adores it, she can’t stop looking at it! Thank you James and Lou!

Little Gem are exactly that, a gem!!! We made an appointment to get our wedding rings, we were welcomed with such warmth and friendliness from the start. There was no pressure and they were so helpful in helping us decide. We were a little late on sorting out our rings but no problem as they were ready in 2 weeks! I asked for a re-setting / design of my engagement ring, wedding ring, and the creation of a ring from a pair of earrings.

They listened to what I hoped for and envisaged, whilst advising me on aspects I couldn’t decide on, and guiding me on design elements I hadn’t even thought on.

We first met James at the Detling Wedding fair and even from our brief conversation on that day we knew this was going to be the place to go for Chris’s wedding ring. Chris was looking for something a little bit different, the service that we received from James was second to none, he gave us lots of different ideas in a very relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to make a purchase. We placed the order and the ring was ready to collect within a few weeks. The quality is outstanding in line with the customer service received. Although we live about an hour away it was well worth the trip and we will certainly return in the future, Would highly recommend.

What a little Gem, James devoted lots of time to help me create the perfect engagement ring for my fiancé. Just stand in the shop for 10 minutes and you'll see that everyone who comes in is greeted delightfully (often by name) by one member of the family or another. We'll be back for our wedding bands soon.

We visited Little Gem in Sevenoaks looking for design ideas for our wedding rings. Luigi and James helped us to make this exciting decision and made two beautiful pieces of jewellery for us to treasure.

This is a wonderful independent jewellers. I was very apprehensive about purchasing an engagement ring as it is obviously a big commitment but James and Lou made me feel completely at ease throughout, from the moment I walked through the door. They took the time to talk me through the process and what factors to consider and James sourced a truly beautiful diamond, which looks better and better the more my now fiance and I look at it! I was very impressed with how flexible they were with my budget and time frame and no point did I feel under any pressure, which was a concern for me when I started planning. If you are looking for the perfect proposal then look no further!

We were looking for wedding bands and stumbled across the Little Gem shop. When we popped in they were super friendly and they booked an appointment to discuss the design of the bands and any questions we had. The were super knowledgable so we knew we were in good hands, and they always gave us the time of day when we visited again at later dates.

We are absolutely thrilled with the wedding bands and they designed it to exactly how we wanted it, and their service was top knotch.

My partner and I went into The Little Gem to get our wedding rings. We sat talking to Lou and Jamie for ages, asking all our questions, discussing what we wanted and trying on rings. Lou has an absolute wealth of knowledge and this was invaluable to us! We left feeling so happy and knowing so much more than when we went in. I can't recommend them highly enough! Both my mum and I have had items designed and made by James and Lou. I had some stunning sapphire earrings made and my mum remodelled both her engagement and wedding rings and got some new gold hoop earrings.

There artistic flare, patience with indecisiveness and amazing craftsmanship meant we are both so happy with what they have done for us.

I took my engagement ring in to Little Gem to be remodelled. Lou and James listened carefully to what I wanted, made constructive suggestions about shapes of stones and then ordered in diamonds in different sizes for me to choose. They produced a beautiful ring that I am thrilled with. All this completed in 6 weeks, thank you Lou and James.

I cannot thank James and Lou at The Little Gem enough for all the help they have given me and my daughter in creating the perfect pieces of jewellery. We both had an idea of the ring and earrings we wanted. James and Lou, listened to us and then created jewellery that is a work of art. Their attention to detail, plus tailoring the jewellery to their customer's need, both aesthetic and cost, was faultless.

I have had a piece of jewellery that I hadn’t been wearing that I was wanting to get more use of. I wished to use the diamonds from a bangle to make a platinum eternity ring for which I had already sought advice from various jewellers that I had previously used. I went into Little Gem when passing on a whim but was extremely impressed by their valuable knowledge and advice from this family business which was given without any obligation.
The quote I received was competitive but more than that I felt complete confidence in the knowledge and friendly advice I received to place my redesign there and then.
I received my completed ring ahead of schedule and I am utterly delighted with the result.
I have many other items I will gradually take to Little Gem for their advice and help with redesign. I highly recommend to friends and family with absolutely any hesitation.

I visited Lou to enquire about the possibilities having a neckless made. The original neckless had been lost and all I had was a photo. From this he created an exact copy. He’s done an amazing job and I’m delighted with what he has created. I received great advice from him and James and thoroughly recommend them.

I was passing by and thought I'd enquire about getting my engagement and wedding rings cleaned. James did it for me on the spot. It took 20 mins max. Great service and my rings look as good as new!
