I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Little Gem jewellers. I lost a stone from my eternity ring at the beginning of the pandemic and was frustrated at not being able to source a jeweller to repair it. Little Gem was a great discovery. James rebuilt my ring using the existing stones and I now have a beautiful ‘new’ ring. The service was quick, professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend The Little Gem.

I was recommended to speak to James at little Gem by a friend, as I was looking for a diamond eternity ring as a surprise gift for my wife’s 50th birthday.

What can I say , one of the best recommendations I have ever been given..!!!

Due to the surprise nature of the gift, and the fact that I couldn’t get over to James shop without alerting my wife, James was happy to meet me on a freezing cold and wet Saturday morning in a local car park, to discuss ideas, sizing and timings.

James is incredibly passionate about his job and extremely knowledgeable about the whole Gem industry, but above all, he is a thoroughly lovely chap and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble for James to help me achieve exactly what I was after for my wife. His expertise and professionalism was second to none, and I immediately knew why my friend had recommended Little Gem….!!

Little Gem are an incredible set up based in a delightful little boutique shop in Sevenoaks. They truly are a wonderful father and son team… James with his knowledge and passion , and Lou with his expertise and master craftmanship… a perfect combination…!!

I’m so glad I found this little Gem. Initially went in to enquire about watch batteries and I found them to be so reasonably priced - I ended up with a battery replacement, polish and repair to the clasp on my Cartier Santos watch, it’s like new! Whilst in there I got to talking with James and it was clear he has such a passion and knowledge for diamonds. I asked him to get some ideas for engagement rings for my other half. James got straight to it, sourced some stones, emailed over a breakdown of costs, detailed info and options and a video of the design. We were then able to come and view the stones and pick our preference. Then he handed it over to Lou to work his magic and he did just that. I am now the proud owner of the most stunning ring I could have wished for. Totally surpassed our expectations and they do not take liberties on price. A lovely family run business with the highest level of customer service. Everyone is made to feel welcome and important and looked after no matter how big or small your budget. We are over the moon and will definitely be lifelong customers. Thank you again James and Lou!

James delivered an excellent service, got have lots of experience making bespoke jewellery and made the wedding band fit really nice round the engagement ring which we sent special delivery as we are not local, kept us up to date with the progress as well. Also polished the rings up nicely which we were grateful for. Will shop here again for sure.

Normally I don’t write reviews but I feel like I have to give The Little Gem some credit here. James cleaned my wife’s watch (Rolex) and her engagement and wedding rings and he has done a superb job. Looked brand new! They know what they are doing and they know what they are talking about.

I would highly recommend The Little Gem. Lou created my fiancé’s wedding ring spectacularly, as well as cleaned my engagement ring; making it look better than new! We have now instructed him to make a pair of diamond earrings as his workmanship is second to none! Highly doubt we will ever use another jeweller now!

Fantastic jewellery repair shop in Sevenoaks. James was really honest and knowledgable- reasonably priced repairs - re-rhodium of 4 rings - he gave tips on keeping them in pristine condition - will definitely be visiting when lockdown ends to have a look at the displays for ideas for Birthdays and Christmas presents!

Can’t say how happy we were with the work, service and expertise of the family team at the little gem. They saved a poorly made ring that was essentially a right off and did so incredibly reasonably keeping us posted at every stage. Would recommend without hesitation
