Very rude staff. I left feeling absolutely humiliated.

I had top surgery last year and it has been a life changing experience. I could not even look at my body before and now I just love it and it is a source of euphoria! I could not be happier with the result:)

I do have a fear of medical procedures, but the team was so supportive and reassuring and significantly decreased my anxiety every step of the way. All members of the team were incredibly respectful, considerate and made sure that the process didn't trigger dysphoria.

Immediately before surgery, I was assessed by the anaesthetist, Dr Ravi, who made all my worries disappear with his positive and friendly personality and calm explanation of the process.
I was also assessed by Mr Inglefield who made me look forward to waking up free of so many limitations that I had lived with for so many years.
I was amazed at how I didn’t even feel anxious walking into the operating theatre. The nurses in the surgical team were amazing too and made me feel relaxed as they distracted me with conversation, made me laugh and held my hand until the anaesthetic worked its magic. Everyone made me feel so safe and positive.

The care I received post-operatively was great. Jordan was so gentle taking my drains out and made that experience as good as it could possibly be. Carlie and Mary were also wonderful and made me feel cared for.

Lisa and Henrietta were also gentle, caring and calming. They gave me Manual Lymphatic Drainage (a very gentle skin stretching technique that decreases swelling and improves healing). This was such a relaxing experience that really decreased my pain and anxiety.

I am so grateful to everyone that made my top surgery experience so memorable and to Mr Inglefield for applying skills that led to amazing results:)

Mr Inglefield is a very kind and passionate man about what he does. He’s very friendly and puts your mind at ease.

I had Top surgery in January 2020, and it’s the best decision I ever made. Every single person I interacted with was friendly, calming and I was very well looked after before, during and even after the procedure when I needed some manual drainage. Fast painless and effective.

I don’t think I could have picked a better surgeon if I had tried, my scarring is only visible under very fine scrutiny, and as a larger person I couldn’t have asked for better results.

I feel like I finally arrived, and all it took was to be able to put a shirt on in the morning. I could honestly go on forever about how grateful I am to have had the experience I did. And I get a lot of regular trans clientele at work I always recommend people to pursue top surgery with LTC under Mr Inglefield’s care.

My experience here was great- inglefield and the team who looked after me- Leigh Ann, Charlie and Lisa were all fantastic, they were also very accomodating with changing times and appointments as I was travelling from far away

Never felt more cared for than I have with the LTC team.
Genuinely, what an amazing team. Everybody is so caring and funny and lovely. They make you feel like you're at home.
I recently had my top surgery with LTC, Dr Inglefield has done a fantastic job and I am stoked with my results.
Coline was amazing, I have no words. She kept me company all the way up to when I was put to sleep for surgery, and she was there as soon as I opened my eyes. She put me at ease the whole way through and kept me laughing all the way up until I left, she really looked after me- and continued to do so each time I visited the clinic, checking in with me and saying hello even if she wasn't the one to see me- she always made time for me! She helped me each time I came up and made me feel so cared for.
Charlie is also just amazing, she's super friendly, funny and knowledgable about what she does. She put me at ease despite my nerves and always made each appointment fun and relaxed. The team do an amazing job of keeping you at ease- Charlie is super. I was so well looked after!
I also had the pleasure of meeting Lisa, who did my MLD sessions. Lisa is also super knowledgable and funny. She made me relaxed and knows so much about what she does and is so passionate I got to learn a lot and we had some great conversations! Again, keeping me very well looked after and felt so genuinely cared for- even outside of the surgery side of things.
I also see Bethany for my hormones and she too is of course very smart in her field and very very helpful. She is lovely, caring and very funny. She has made time for me on numerous occasions and really helped me out super quickly!
The team care so much about you- I've genuinely never felt so well cared for before.
On the NHS we get so used to being shoved in and out as fast as possible and just being a name on a page- but this is so different. I was given options for what would make me the most comfortable and felt just so cared for every time I was in the clinic- I got to know everybody and genuinely miss seeing them every week! I'm looking forward to coming back up to say hello again to everybody at my next appointments. The team at LTC are just phenomenal and I can't thank them enough for all their help, funniness, swiftness and level of care for me.

From hormones to surgery, LTC have been there for me along my entire transition to date. They’ve approached my care with the upmost empathy and understanding and no question or worry has been too much. They’ve been great with me and I’d absolutely recommend them to anybody else.

Today I was treated by a lovely nurse for my 6 week check up. She made me feel very at ease and has perfect manners.

I have been under the care of the LTC for over 2 years now. I have found the staff to be very helpful, friendly and respectful. I reccomend using their services for anyone looking to transition privately.

It's nearly two years since I first contacted LTC. It's coming up to a year since my surgery. I was kept well informed throughout the entire process. My thoughts and wishes were listened to. I've encountered several wonderful, professional yet approachable clinical and surgical (and wonderful admin) staff members who have put up with so much from me, on top of their actual job descriptions! The London Transgender Clinic have been more than helpful and supportive towards my transition.
I am with Dr L Giddings, she has made me feel extremely comfortable talking on my journey. Although demand is high for LTC, I will always receive an email back within a timely fame which is very helpful.

When I came in clinic, receptionists were welcoming and friendly which helped calm my anxiety down by a lot.

Overall I am more than happy with my experience so far with The London Transgender clinic!

A brilliant and affordable clinic to go to. However it was extremely difficult to get hold of admin at some points, nevertheless couldn’t thank them enough for this step in my transition.
Very quick in booking my consultations once referred, only took a handful of months to begin Testosterone with LTC.
A massive thank you to Lydia especially, for her kindness, help and advice throughout and allowing me to access my hormones. The moment I got my prescription felt so unreal and I couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommended!!

After thinking long and hard about whether or not to leave a review, I cannot in good faith recommend the LTC or Mr Inglefield. The experience, which has lasted over a year, has been nothing short of abysmal.

I’ve been misgendered several times by admin staff, I’ve been lied to, I’ve been gaslighted by medical professionals, I’ve been treated with nothing but utter contempt from this clinic - never in my life have I dealt with a practice quite like this one. It’s truly bewildering. I would go as far as saying it’s dangerous - especially given the fact many service users are vulnerable people who are seeking life affirming surgeries. That’s never something to be taken lightly or dealt with in the callous casuality the LTC does.

There is a severe systemic communication issue that needs to be rectified because it’s just plain cruel to treat people this way. They take your money and hang you out to dry.

My individual case isn’t at all complicated (as told to me by Mr Inglefield), which leads me to believe my incomplete and subpar results are down to arrogance, lack of interest, and an unwillingness to listen and act accordingly. Bitterly disappointing and equally crushing given the financial toll affording this surgery has had on me. From the admin staff, to the head nurse, to the practice manager - zero care for mental well-being and zero commitment to providing the service expected from a facility charging more than overseas industry pioneers.

I could go on but all the above is not new information to the LTC. Knowing since April of last year I’m moving overseas - they have done ZERO to adequately rectify my situation.

I will chalk this up to a bad investment and I’ll know better for next time - probably in another 10 years or so when I *might* be able to afford another revision surgery. Here’s hoping!

I am extremely happy with the level of care I received. From the initial appointment to post surgery appointments, I really could not wish for better staff, from surgeon to reception, everyone has just been incredible! Dr Inglefield and nurse LeighAnn were incredibile in preparing me for surgery and during the surgery itself.

A massive thank you to Miss Berridge and Charlie for guiding me through my first derma filler and botox treatments, in helping me towards developing a more youthful and feminine look.

Everyone at LTC has been super helpful, welcoming, accommodating, positive and professional.

A fantastic experience, but communication is lacking. From what I gather, to maintain the fair pricing currently, it seems cut backs on communication have been made as it is difficult to get hold of anyone at the LTC. Which may in turn put people off.

However once you are on the waiting list the LTC have been brilliant to me and have provided excellent care under Lydia. She's friendly and fantastic and I couldn't ask for a better experience.

I had my in-clinic assessment with Beth on 28th November. She was so welcoming and the appointment went very well.

Effects and timelines were discussed, after some checking my blood pressure, weight, height & BMI - I received my first prescription.

I look forward to my next appointment and continuing my treatment.

My GCS was completed on 17th October in London and now that I am back in Jersey and recovering extremely well, it is right and proper that I should praise the staff at The London Transgender Clinic for saving, then confirming my life.
I have known the wonderful Mr. Christopher Inglefield since 2014 (he performed my FFS in early 2015).
I have always received Rolls Royce treatment from everyone at Wimpole Street and my recent experience was no different.
My GCS had been delayed since June 2020, mainly due to Covid restrictions. At every moment during that time, Mr. Inglefield kept me informed and, although it was an extremely stressful time for me in limbo, I trusted that I would finally get my GCS.
From the moment I checked into the Fitzrovia hospital, the day before my surgery, I was treated with extreme kindness, professionalism and care by Dr. "Indiana" Jones and his staff (special thanks to Christina and Esther).
On Sunday I met my anaesthetist (lovely man) and saw Mr Inglefield again along with the irrepressible Senior Nurse Mary Burke (my old friend) and new to the team Coline.
My surgery went extremely well and this is down to the five star treatment that I received from the LTC team and every single nurse, auxiliary and general staff at the Fitzrovia.

Had many sessions with Sarah. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to give extra advice for skincare.

After growing a bit disillusioned with other hormone care providers, I must admit getting a referral to the LTC and was initially taken as a long shot and a bit of a last-ditch effort.

However, Amanda and the rest of the team you're likely to encounter have been amazing from the very first contact up to today with any queries and concerns to discuss, going out of the way to ensure that the treatment plan agreed upon will be the best course of action on a personal level and mitigating potential issues that may come up along the way.

Frankly, I can't speak highly enough of the services and way they are happy to help with anything - whether that be a simple question, up to transparency around medical and surgical processes and anything in between. They've been incredible and have easily managed to dispel a lot of the anxieties around beginning the process of medically transitioning and other things aside.
