Dear Management Team,
I note that you have forced a cancellation and refund on my order #MW2374 against my explicit wishes.
I am writing to formally state that I accept this refund under protest. As outlined previously, a legally binding contract was formed when you issued my order confirmation. Your unilateral cancellation constitutes a clear breach of contract under UK law. A 50% discount (£204 vs £399) is a perfectly plausible retail sale price, meaning your "genuine mistake" argument does not apply.
I will be passing the details of this transaction, including your misleading online pricing and breach of contract, to the Citizens Advice Consumer Service and Trading Standards for formal investigation.

Purchased from The Mattress World after recommendations from both our son's. We were helped by Lisa who was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable especially in regard to different mattresses. Ordered on a Friday and the ottoman bed was delivered and installed on the following Wednesday. No waiting weeks like some other companies. Sean and his assistant stayed late in the afternoon/evening to erect the bed. Was a challenge to get up our stairs but they did it without complaint. Really friendly team, took all coverings etc away. We are highly delighted with our ottoman frame and the mattress is really comfortable. Would recommend this local company to anyone.

I have known Sean for a number of years now and he's never once let me down. Whenever I've been in need of something he's always gone over and above to help me with what I need. Always answers his phone no matter what and makes sure if he can sort whatever it is you need as quickly as he can. Over time I've had the privilege to see first hand just how hard he works to ensure everyone is happy and it's impressive to say the least. Sean's attitude and just the way he is as a person has meant that he's the first person I'd call wether I needed a comfortable night's sleep or someone to put the world to right with. Good man and an exceptional friend.

It’s the first time I’ve used this company, and what a pleasant experience it was. Huge choice of beds, mattresses, headboards, furniture and more. I was able to mix and match beds with headboards and type of material. Excellent customer service and delivery at a very good price. Would definitely use again.

Whenever I’ve needed a bed or furniture, Sean is the man. He also went out of his way (when he didn’t need to) to move and reassemble my bed when I moved house, which was no easy task with awkward walls and doors. I cannot think of another place that handles last-minute orders as well and as professionally as this company, and I will forever recommend TMW to all.

I have had multiple beds from the mattress world. Both the service and the quality have been fantastic! I will certainly purchase again from here!

Shocking to see any 1 star reviews, I wouldn’t buy a bed or mattress anywhere else, unbelievably priced and great quality further more your supporting a local business.
