I originally purchased a custom cut rug for our foyer. It was a bit pricey and when delivered I wasn't thrilled with how it looked. I waited to see if it "grew" on me and it didn't. So, I ordered samples from Perfect Rug. I found the one that I liked the best and spent the extra money! I'm thrilled with it. I wish I would have done this first.

I ordered a rug on October 28th. I was told it shipped on November 15th and was given a tracking number. The rug showed delivered to a different address on November 30th. Two weeks later, since it was not my address, I called the company to ask about my rug and was told the address was for the "white glove" delivery service and that they would reach out to me to arrange delivery. I asked for their number, but was told I could not have it. Very frustrating to be out money, not have my rug, and nobody can tell me when it's coming or where it is.

I waited for a call or email, but there was none. Then one day the rug showed up dumped on my front porch. Not exactly the white glove service I paid for. I complained to the company, but they have not gotten back to me.

Love the simple order process! From ordering and receiving samples to the communication through delivery - everything was smooth. White glove service is a must with a large rug like we have. They were very precise in their install. Looking forward to ordering more from PR!

More than exceeded my expectations. I didn't know customer service like this still existed. I would highly recommend this company. I thought maybe it was too good to be true, but it isn't. I ordered 4 special size rugs with binding and they came out perfectly and exactly like the sample. The communication back and forth was extremely helpful and very quick. All of the team members I spoke to were wonderful.

The rug is just the right size because we were able to order it custom. It was nice to be able to get swatches so that we could make a good choice. And it looks great in our room. The quality is good. The only reason I gave four instead of five stars is that for some reason that was not explained, the delivery did not happen when we expected it to and it took quite a few weeks longer to get it than we originally thought.

Making a rug is not rocket science.
1. You take an order. Not hard.
2. You take the money. ( they’re excellent in this area)
3. You make the rug. ( expect to wait and wait and wait…. Expect to deal with a miserable employee in “ customer service”… expect to be given 100 reasons why your rug is taking months and months to make….) expect to be told I don’t care by the company in 100 different ways…
4. You deliver the rug. ( the tricky part. Don’t pay for white glove service as it doesn’t exist but you’ll pay for it)
5. Expect your rug lying in your driveway one morning having just been dropped there.

Obviously making rugs is too hard for them poor souls.
You’d be better off buying at IKEA. Honestly the quality is better and you get it in a reasonable amount of time. My driveway drop off took almost four months. It said weeks. It was nearly four months.
If you’re not in a hurry and want to be tortured then this is the perfect rug company for you!

I love The Perfect Rug Company and have never had any issues. The large rug for my master bedroom arrived and appears in good shape and good quality. However, the "white glove service" (that was not cheap) was not white glove at all. In fact, the trucking company called me while I was out of town and delivered it to the outdoor/front side of my garage and left a message that they left it there. My husband dragged it into the garage but now I need to hire someone to bring it in and lay it under my bed in my master bedroom. I thought that was supposed to be "white glove service" as that has been the case for every other company in the past. Bummer..,,.

I loved the ordering process and I really like my rug. The huge delay in delivery was disappointing but I’m not letting that effect my rating as the delivery facility is in California and the state is a disaster these days.

Our rug is lovely. The workmanship is impeccable. The materials are as pictured and as in the sample we ordered. It is exactly as we had hoped it would be.

The reason for the 4 rather than 5 star review is that not only did the rug take three times as long as promised - it was nearly impossible to get updates. The customer service folks are 'in a different location' than the manufacturing facility and could not get answers as to production delays. The delivery itself took more than two weeks. But these are extraordinary times - and we WILL order again from Perfect Rug. We love our rug!

Absolutely gorgeous rug. Beautiful addition to our house. The rug feels soft underfoot, the edging complements it perfectly. The rubber coating on the back functions as a rug pad perfectly. We had to include a seam given the rugs length (for a hallway runner) and it’s so subtle I can barely see it. I struggled for years finding a custom rug that would fit our narrow upstairs hallway and am so happy with this purchase. I highly recommend!!

We were furnishing our vacation home in Miami. All online orders turned out great, except for this company.. We ordered an oversized rug from them to go into our living room. Went for the more expensive option for $6000. When it arrived we were shocked how different it looks as opposed to the website. Basically the picture on the website pictures a swatch not the initial rug, which is complete misrepresentation. The rug they sent me had plaid pattern that was not pictured on the website. We reported the problem with the listing to them and wanted to return or exchange but they refused. They said we f-Cked up because we didn’t ask them whether it was an accurate picture of the rug before we placed the order which is ridiculous. I ordered 7 other rugs from Wayfair and overstock and all turned out like the picture. Eventually, we ended up ordering 1 14 x 10’ rug and 2 7 x 5 rugs from Wayfair and stitched them together with a carpet connecting tape you can get on Amazon for $20. Total cost was $800. Try it, it works! And stay away from those hustlers..
