Hi-I have been meaning to call. I understand my runner is 16' long and after 12' there would be a seam. HOWEVER, I did not expect seam to be so obvious.
I have other carpets in my home that have seams and they blend well. This one is sorta glaring? The rug itself is beautiful. I ordered 3 total, 2 3x2 pieces by doors and one long runner for a total of over $1200.00. Any advice on minimizing the seam?

I recommend getting a few swatches prior to placing the order. It was very helpful that the samples arrived with suggested surge threads to choose from. The rugs arrived in a timely manner and were exactly the sizes that I ordered.

The rug I received is exactly the dimensions I requested (their software documenting what you want is excellent). And exactly the fabric I specified from their samples. Very THICK, high quality all nylon commercial rug, with the latex non-slip backing I paid extra for. No surprises. Well done. Getting the samples in the first place was a bit of a chore: they kept sending those to the wrong address. So after I called them and emailed them a couple of times, they got that straightened out and resent me the samples at no charge. Much appreciated. This is the tail end of the Covid pandemic, so I am sure that had something to do with their administrative issues. But the bottom line: they delivered exactly what I ordered in excellent condition and of high quality. If you YOU cannot find a rug that is a color or pattern you want, or the exact size you want, this is the ONLY place I found on the planet that will provide you with a huge number of options and make and deliver your rug for you to enjoy the rest of your life.

After a significant delay of two months (due to Covid slowdown), I finally received my rug. The yarn color used for the serged border was nothing like the physical sample yarn that was provided. While I understand dye lots can vary and exact color matches are not guaranteed, the color was very pink and clashed with the rug. It was just very disappointing because otherwise, the rug itself is very nice.

Samples should be updated as dye lots change so the appropriate color can be selected by the consumer. Alternaively, multiple samples from different dye lots should be provided/requested to show the range that might be used. Had I known I the pink version was a possibility, I would not have selected that color at all.

The Perfect Rug substituted the rug I had requested from a sample received from them. So, instead of receiving 9'6"x12' Polermo Weathered Oak rug, I received Palermo "Lineage" Weathered Oak, a totally different coloration and it is not the quality of my sample. Then The Perfect Rug had two fast talking "customer sales reps" try to beat this 73 year old up verbally. They offered me an opportunity for money back and wanted me to make first tender offer. I finally said I want $1672, the original sub total on my order...surprise, the so-called rep said there was no more negotiation...and they expect this former bank officer to sit back and take it? No way!

We are so pleased with our custom sized rugs. The color looks great (and the pad keeps our dogs from moving it all over the place). One area was a strange shape and TPR understood it better than I did (thank goodness). They patiently worked with me to get the measurements right for what I wanted and it is PERFECT!!! I would highly recommend them, especially if you need something that is an unusual shape!!

Easy site to use, samples came with edging and pad samples that I never even thought of. Good communication regarding the process after the order.

Great rug and durable.

While I am ultimately happy with the product received, I am very unhappy with the service that I received. ThePerfectRig.com delayed my order by over a week and did not honor the order timing provided on their website. In addition, the communication from ThePerfectRig.com was terrible and I had to call numerous times to get my order updates. When calling, whoever was picking up the phone for ThePerfectRig.com was always clearly unhappy that I was calling to get my order status. While they were never rude or unprofessional, they always seemed annoyed that I was inquiring about why my order was delayed.

We are so happy that we discovered The Perfect Rug! They were very easy to work with, and the rug arrived quickly and exactly as described. We needed an odd size oval area rug to go under our dining room table. After selecting from the free samples of the few styles that we narrowed down, they custom cut our rug and bound it beautifully. It is EXACTLY what we were hoping it would be.

The Perfect Rug was generous to provide a very professional and FREE package that included a sample of the rug that I liked. As it happens, the rug color was too light for our room. We are grateful to find that out before purchasing something that wasn’t quite right for us.

It was very helpful to receive the samples. They arrived well packed and with helpful information included.

Came well wrapped and no damage. Needed to let rug sit so it would lay flat, but instructions were great. I had a special sized rug made to fit in an unique spot and this fits perfect! Very happy with the results
