dodgy company
Absolute scam..
Absolute scam... avoid at all costs, the verified views is a payed for review base thing. dont fall for the trap since they are rolling in my money that i foolishly spent on there website, prolonging the dates on my refund, I doubt i will ever get it back without contacting my bank directly
Dreaming with my money that you have
This company asked me here the order reference to confirm why the refund its not on my bank account, since last month waiting for an answer and nothing!!! Its the fourth mensagem that I leave here complainning. Lots of emails were sent for this awfull company since february and they don t give a single word to me.
This company takes your money then…
This company takes your money then provides fake updates avoid like hell please spend more to actually get a phone
100% SCAM
100% SCAM
Update to my previous post. 15 messages left without reply, so no chance of getting them to respond but even if they did I wouldn't believe a word of it. Fake logistics updates says it all.
Worst still my bank are making me go through a convoluted paper process claim having paid by credit card. I will be out of pocket for over 3 months before I get any money back.
Stay safe and avoid the phones.net
Scam. Just scam.
Scam, no doubt about it. My phone was already 2 weeks past delivery date (i.e 8 weeks after ordering), but I'd had all of the (fake) shipping updates so I actually thought it was on its way. Then I received an email telling me they could not supply due to corona-virus. But they had already told me it was in transit! They did not offer a refund but said I should claim through my credit card, i.e. let the bank's insurance pick up the tab, 'cos we aren't sending you anything. I've opened a dispute through my bank, but this will take forever, and I really don't know if I'll get anything back. Criminals, and I am embarrassed that I got suckered. Don't you go there too.
This is a scam
This is a scam, item is not posted and a refund is refused
This is actually horrendous
This is actually horrendous. I've never been in a situation like this before. Avoid this scam site at all costs. Also I know this is going to get read by the company itself, so listen up! I want a full refund on my product. This is completely illegal what you are doing so I want a full refund. And I'm going to keep asking this until I get it as I'm sick of this, and if you say I'm going to get the refund and I don't actually get the money back I will know. You are going to refund my product properly aswell as refund everyone else that has lost valuable money on your stealing service!!! Also no I'm not going to wait 90 days like everyone else just to recieve nothing, I want my money back now!!!!!!!
Pure scam, poor customer support
I ordered a phone months ago, waited for arrival for a long time and then received an email stating that due to the situation in China right now, the phone wont arrive. I didn't get my money back. I've tried contacting customer support multiple times, and haven't heard anything back.
Cancelled order after 2 months of waiting
Waited for two months for a phone. They have cancelled the order at the end and asked me to contact the card issuer for a chargeback instead of issuing a refund. They were updating fake tracking updates all the way. No wonder why they don't give you with a tracking number. I took a chance with them even after seeing all the negetive reviews since the price of the phone was tempting. Not worth going for.
Terrible website don't ever buy from them
I have been waiting for a response from them for over two weeks after they sent me an email that I'm going to receive a refund, still haven't got my money.
Do not use this company
Do not use this company! Complete and utter scam! I ordered my phone in january and still no phone - they have been posting fake shipping updates and not replying to any communication from me requesting a refund.
I notice that they are blaming the coronavirus outbreak for the delays according to other reviews yet it seems funny that every other legit company i have ordered from since is still able to fulfil there orders within a reasonable time scale. Avoid at all costs - conning people out of their hard-earned money.
Avoid - not worth the hassle!
After 2 months of waiting, receiving fake logistics updates, and emailing daily with daily replies telling me that I should receive the phone 'soon' despite me telling them I wanted a refund as I didn't want to wait anymore, 2 days ago I received the same email advising that I need to do a chargeback with my bank to get a refund. Tbh, I was just happy to have a way of getting money back I thought I might have lost! I contacted the bank and received a full refund the next day including transaction charges. All credit to my bank - none at all to ThePhones.net! I've now paid the extra £70 to get the phone from a reputable supplier.
Rip you off. Avoid
They are literally stealing. They are selling you phone (I checked I can still buy the same phone today and taking your money) but they have no way of shipping and refuse to refund in less than 45 to 90 days. This is surely illegal. I hate these horrible dodgy online stores. They ignore your e mails and their english is limited. Avoid. They are based in Hong Kong.
Warning don't buy from them
They wrote that with the Corona virus the delay could be 45 days. But in the website they are continuing to sell. I am going to the police
Hello {firstname} {lastname},
The intensification of customs conditions by the Chinese government is causing the delivery times of our products to be lengthened much more than our company would like and we would like to give you the service you deserve.
Therefore, we regret to inform you that the product purchased on our website will not be delivered within the stipulated deadlines and we proceed to cancel it and start the procedures for your refund.
For this, it is necessary to request the ChargeBack of the original charge through the issuer of your card or your bank. In this case, it is not your bank that makes the refund, but rather requests it to the brand of the card (VISA, MasterCard), which is the one that pays it on the card itself after verifying the data.
The two most effective ways are as follows:
1. Contact the customer service telephone number that appears on the card.
2. Carry out the procedure through the online banking of the financial institution or bank that issues the card.
From our company we accept the return for "Product not delivered"; please indicate this to the financial institution. In this link you can download a purchase invoice with all the necessary information so that your bank or card issuing entity can request the ChargeBack and the amount will be refunded.
Thank you very much for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience. The team of: {shop_name}.
I made my order more than a month ago…
I made my order more than a month ago and received an email from thephones.net yesterday that it will not be delivered due to coronavirus outbreak. In the email they advised to contact the card issuing company. I've never had to do anything like that before....
They sent me fake order tracking updates for the month I was waiting. The worst customer service I ever had online! I still need to get my money back, no response from customer service so far....
Warning for this shop!!
Warning for this shop!!
Order: JGIKIJJRU
Made my order 14th january, latest delivery date they promised to be 28th feb. Of course no phone arrived, and no answer from their customer service before I wrote a rewiew here 🤠 then they promised me another phone which they could send the next 48h..1 month later I recive an e-mail were they tell me to claim my money back from my credit card company 😮😮!!Are you serious, is it my f:n work to put time and money to contact my credit company??? And still you're advertising about your "cheap" phones,? Shame on you!!! 😡
SCAM - They request you do a CHARGEBACK
Website is a total hoax.
After waiting and being happy to accept delays due to the ongoing COVID issue, they miss my delivery date and then a week later email me saying that I have to do a CHARGEBACK if I want my money back.
No company does this. Every company just returns the money rather than asking you to get VISA/MASTERCARD to claw the money back. I will be reporting this company to all appropriate authorities.

Order cancelled after 5 weeks of waiting
After waiting 5 weeks cancelled the order as the item is out of stock. Dispointing, as this was a present . Never trust who looks very competitive and without reading reviews. Comunication poor as the service.
