Horrible Experience.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had ordering online.

I ordered a phone on 02/12/19 and have still not received it more than 2 months later! It was meant to arrive on 24/12/19

When I emailed this company on 30/12/19 asking where my order was, initially I was in contact with a "Hector Garcia" who apologised for the delay and told me I would hopefully get my phone the following week, or I could get a refund.
Of course I was willing to wait another week so I trusted this company. I never should have.

Now I am desperately trying to get my money back but am only contacted by someone called "Neythan Leon" who has very bad English (he even replied to me in Spanish once, which I had to Google translate) and is completely ignoring my emails asking for a refund! Only giving me generic replies like

"We inform you that we are working so you can receive your device as quickly as possible"

STAY AWAY FROM THEPHONES.NET.

You'd be better ordering from anywhere else.

Never again!!!

Never again!!!
You get an invoice without contact details.
Despite several attempts, it was not possible to send back a completely defective shipment.
I can only warn everyone to get involved in this sales platform. Rather spend a few euros more.

If the tracking data would have been…

If the tracking data would have been more clear, I would have probably given 5 stars even if it took more than 40 days to get the smartphone ordered. When conditions are transparent there might be no problem waiting; what's a bit annoying is to receive continuous courtesy answers that the product "has been sent" and have no real tracking info, instead of "it can't be sent before..."

The time to deliver the goods

The time to deliver the goods, the difference between the value paid, the price of the phone after 30days, still before been shipped, and the difference (>16€) claimed but unanswered yet are reasons enough not to give an higher evaluation grade.

Although been though to purchase a 2nd phone this painful experience forbids me to.

Why not just 1 star?! Because the phone was received...more than 1 month after being ordered and paid.

Things about the website worried me

A few things about the website worried me. For example, the address given is incorrect. I was incorrectly told that my phone would be posted from a UK address. It was posted in Spain but it arrived safely 3½ weeks after ordering. I have obtained a great phone at a great price. I will use them again.

Late delivery and broken pieces

I asked if there was the possibility os paying extra for the phone to get to me before Christmas and the answer was that there is no such thing but they would mark my delivery as priority so that it was here on that date.
The phone arrived in middle January, wich wasn't even the 15 work days promissed on the website.
Plus, the charger was broken.

Fast service

The phone arrived about three weeks earlier than the original delivery date. Once shipped, it was easy to track via UPS.
Regarding the phone, the only minor issue is that it came with a European plug instead of one that fits the UK.

Awesome price, delivery was a little sketchy, delayed by 10 days due to Christmas, but very happy with the product.

Poor experience

Oder delayed, took a calendar month to arrive
Customer service response non-existent, poor.
Online details of order were missing - no confidence that the order was 'real' although the money had been taken for the purchase
Difficult to contact - support email address responses were either not forthcoming or were in a standard template.
No order tracking information was provided until the product was in the care of the courier
Not clear where the company is based - there is a UK address but it doesn't look genuine when searched on Google maps

Although the product was eventually received, I would not repeat the experience and would recommend trying other options for buying a phone online

Tried to return the phone

Tried to return the phone. Ages without response from anyone. Then emails that were clearly to stall the process, asking for the reason why I wanted to return it (something I gave since the beginning) and not answearing all of my questions
