Couldn't be more helpful

The Plumb and Electric store had the pipe coupling I needed and their prices were good. However, for some reason the online system didn't like my postal address. I phoned up and they couldn't have been more helpful, sending an email invoice which I payed and the goods quickly despatched. Full marks for service.

Faultless service

Faultless service, my premier pack arrived quickly and was very well packed, it was also at a very competitive price, so all in all I’m over the moon with the company,

The only niggle I had was with the product which surprised me, NOT the company, one of the copper fittings refused to solder completely without an insane amount of heat and after the forth attempt, this was after both fitting and pipe were thoroughly cleaned and Yorkshire flux was used, but it had to be said that the fitting was not a snug fit, the other fittings were snug, I’m a heating engineer with 30 years of experience, not a DIY’er so not my fault.

I was offered 10% discount on my first order, but was then advised this did not apply to boilers and cylinders as they were already discounted.

Great experience purchasing a new…

Great experience purchasing a new boiler from the Plumb & Electric store. Price wise they seemed very competitive compared to other vendors. After purchasing the boiler I also got a call from Tony to arrange the delivery on a date that worked for me. Thanks guys, appreciate it!

The delivery service of this company is poor

The delivery service of this company is not reasonable. I bought a boiler. But they just leave it in the front of our house. My wife asked him to move it into the propery, but the staff said that it is too heavy and refuse to do it and directly leave. As you know it is impossible for my wife to move it. This made my wife feel very sad. I have contated the company. Their response is that this is due to security reasons. I hope this company could provide a reasonable service to customers.

We spend extra on our delivery service, all of our boilers are palletised and despatched via a 3rd party service who transport them with the care and fragility they require to get to you with minimal damage, unlike other provided courier services. This gives us the confidence your order will arrive with you on time, in-full and undamaged. The majority of feedback we have received from previous customers have said they found the drivers very helpful and accommodating in most instances, however drivers are not authorised nor insured to break down the pallet and carry items into the property. This is all stated in the 'Shipping & Returns' tab located on each product on our website. Please be assured that we will do our best to accommodate or clarify any special delivery requests at point of ordering. Again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope that you choose The Plumb Store again in the future.
