On going issues with Lee Sherriff

On going issues with Lee Sherriff - The Posh Door Company.

Ordered internal aluminium doors to the sum of £2,807, multiple issue with the doors. Finally told a new supplier would be used and asked to pay futher £1,200.

The doors should have been delivered early November 2024.
Called the new supplier, to my shock they report the doors were quoted, but never paid or ordered.

I have filled a complaint with the Police, Action Fraud and Trading Standards

The more people that have similar issues with Lee Sherriff stealing can lodge their details with Action Fraud. We may have a chance that he will be investigated.
Action Fraud number 0300 123 2040.

I have also spoken to Companies House. They report the company is still active. I am now tracking the company and can lodge a complaint if they try and close the company.

Ripped off

Ripped off, Police informed. Palladio doors passed me on to their "representative" UK supplier who subsequently took our money and disappeared. It seems I am not the only one ripped off by Palladio doors/Posh door Company/Lee David Sherriff. ! If you also have paid for a Posh door and been fleeced, PLEASE join me by reporting to action fraud, and his local trading standards. Lee David Sherriff has defrauded you outside the scope of a Ltd Company and is personally liable, both financially and criminally.

They were crooks, and now they are gone.

Ordered 4 doors in September 2024 for delivery around Christmas. They have taken my money and disappeared. Called the door manufacturer, order was never placed with them. It's clear that Lee Sheriff knowingly took my money with no intention of providing the product. He is a crook.

Took money and never delivered doors

Ordered two sets of french doors 20th September and informed 7-10 days for delivery. After 10 days tried emails and telephone but unable to get any response with details of delivery. Checked with the door suppliers direct who confirmed my doors were never ordered and were available in stock. In effect they took my money and did nothing apart from hold on to it. Fortunately I paid by credit card and have lodged a section 75 claim for a refund from the credit card company. However it has still been a stressful experience and caused lots of delay in my refurbishment project.

The Company has disappeared

The Company has disappeared. I tracked down my door that I’d paid for in full and it has been manufactured but can’t be released until they get paid.
Mr Lee David Sherriff who sold me the door (Posh Door Company) must have known he was going bust. We saved up for the door so unfortunately didn’t pay by credit card as we would have got some help retrieving the money from the card company. I’m on my own it seems with a big hole in my savings and home with no door.
It also looks like this person has had a few more complaints that “haven’t worked”.

No longer operating?

Lee came and measured the doors & was very pleasant. He wanted all the money up front which should have raised suspicion. He called to say they.d be a week later - first week of November. Doesn’t answer calls or texts. Am gutted reading these reviews. Will follow up and try and get money back. Is it fraud, a scam or bad business luck.

Ordered a Palladio front door for one…

Ordered a Palladio front door for one of our projects and paid over £2k to Lee, our customer has boards as there front door and been like this for 4 weeks, I called Palladio direct today to find he had placed the order but they had received no payment, so the door is made but requires payment again via another third party. Not a happy builder and don’t like being ripped off

Avoid at all costs!!

Ordered a Palladio door on the 19th August, delivery date estimated for w/c 7th Oct. 3 weeks ago I checked delivery was still on schedule and Lee told me that the order was delayed 3 days but delivery would still be in the same week. Paid over £2k on ordering and left to find out the company are no longer operating when our anticipated delivery didn’t arrive. Mobile switched office, landline mail box is full, emails don’t get answered. I spoke to Palladio the manufacture direct and they filled in some gaps which confirmed my worst fears -avoid this shambolic company!

Awful experience

I’m in the same boat. Ordered 5 internal doors in August 24 They never came so I rang them. Actually spoke to a really nice man who explained that the doors were stuck in the Suez Canal on a container ship. Told me I’d get them in early Nov. Wasn’t too concerned as my joiner couldn’t hang them till mid November anyway. Just tried to make contact and check progress via website only to discover website not available, facebook and instagram page disappeared and no one answering phone. Gutted. Feel like a right mug that I fell for the sob story when I enquired. Haven’t a clue where to start. :( really frustrating and disappointing not to even mention all the money I worked hard to save to pay them!

Shocking Experience with this company…

If I could have done, I would have given no star rating whatsoever. This company should be avoided at all costs, they have not replied to emails and its impossible to leave a voice message as the mailbox is full. I paid in full for a Palladio door back in April and when I requested delivery for 2nd October in mid September I was assured this would be delivered to me. That date came and went and after many attempts to contact them it was obvious to me I
wouldnt be getting my door. Immediately got in touch with Palladio themselves and my credit card provider to request a chargeback to my account. Palladio initially had no knowledge of any isssues with this company but this has changed in the past 7 days since, they have been very helpful in trying to resolve the issues we had and we hope to take delivery of our door very soon, thank you Palladio. Posh Door Company have turned out to be most disreputable and I urge all to avoid them.

Farcical company AVOID AVOID AVOID

There is clearly something seriously gone wrong with this company. Ordered 4 doors and hardware on July 12th for delivery mid August.. Was told it would be fine but when I began to chase closer to the planned delivery time Lee stated he had forgotten to place the order and it wouldn't arrive in time. Delay caused us to have to put fitter off as they didnt even arrive the folowing week as promised, They never return calls or get back to you and chasing for a week finally had the doors delivered and they sent the wrong size !!! again really slow and unresponsive to rectify their incompetence. multiple calls to both Lee and Donna finally resulted in an exchange but it was weeks late and resulted in knock on delays.. Raised a complaint weeks ago and never get a response despite chasing them and they have no desire to resolve the issues or complaint.. Avoid at all costs and note that the hardware arrived from a third party supplier (handles4U) with a much cheaper price on the invoice than they had charged so order directly and cut out the useless incompetent middle man and lady.. Honestly couldn't run a bath between them !

They have scammed me

They have sent me the wrong doors and despite me calling and emailing them for over a week they have not replied nor answered the phone, it’s as though they have either gone on holiday or administration, but they have cost me almost a thousand pounds and I just want my doors replacing not even a refund.
