Customer service isn't good. The package was lost for a day and we couldn't reach you out. We wrote you two emails and yet don't have an answer.

We ordered a moses basket as…
We ordered a moses basket as illustrated. The photo included two pompoms, one beige, one black fixed to the side of the basket. The basket was delivered without the pompoms. We have been forced to pay extra for them. As they were illustrated in the photo, along with the price they could reasonably be assumed included in the price.

I am sorry to hear this is how you feel. I would like to point out that our product description is very clear (when read) and there are also photos without the pompoms in. Here is what our description states
"All Moses Baskets come without pompoms and tassels as standard but If you would like to customise your basket please select from the Customise menu and take a look at the colour wheel picture to help choose the colours. Please select N/A if you are not wanting to customise your basket."
My baskets are very fairly priced for a handmade piece and the price includes a mattress and basket liner. Not all customers want pompoms so we have these as an add on which is clearly stated in the above.
I did not force you to pay for anything I helped sort out the situation and allowed you to purchase the items you had not purchased in the first place due to not reading the information provided. Your error took me significant time to correct which most would be grateful for.
If you are considering purchasing from us and you are reading this I would suggest that you make sure to read all information provided and if you have any concerns on an order we will always be back in touch promptly to help rectify the situation.
Cultural appropriation in 2026
I was looking to buy their items but they described their Carlsen 25 Lounger as "exuding Scandi design" and "Nordic style chair". Last I checked rattan is native to and grown in Southeast and South Asia and has been used for furniture in those parts of the world far longer than the West. The exact style of chair has been used in Asia for the longest time.
In 2026 I cannot believe companies are still appropriating other cultures like this. Give homage to the cultures these designs are ACTUALLY from. This is a South East Asian style chair NOT Nordic.
I will be giving my money to the Bali Concept who although run by Brits, rightfully give credit to the part of the world where rattan is both grown and used for everyday furniture.

I was pleased to get an email to tell me that the Tobias chair was back in stock! It was easy to order and delivered in 3 days. It came well packaged and was easy to put the legs on. It looks great and goes well with my Java bar stools, really good quality. What a great company.

Warning: FAULTY CHILDREN’S PRODUCTS
Warning:
The children’s products are unsafe and potentially very dangerous.
I reached out immediately for a refund and didn’t received it. This company sold two faulty products which they admitted to. I was instructed to return the items (a large bench and mirror) which was very costly to do and therefore I decided to drive to their warehouse.
I left the items there as they were not “working” at the time. After a week of pleading with Lucinda and Charlie, I finally received a refund for the bench. However, a whole year and a half has gone by and they still won’t refund the mirror. They have stolen £49.99 from me.
Very poor customer service and no accountability.
Always verify product safety and refund reliability before purchasing, especially from this company!
I would strongly advise others to avoid this company!

For those that are reading this I will fill you in from our side.
This customer bought a Sale / seconds item at a reduced price with a full description and images of the faults along with a mirror.
She then emailed to complain about the same faults that were listed. We advised that she could return but at her own expense or we could replace with a new item however she would need to pay the difference between the seconds price and the new price. We did not admit anything, in fact we informed the customer this was due to her not reading the listing fully and not looking at the images provided. The customer also only spoke about 1 item which was the sale item, there was nothing wrong with the other item and no mention of this. The customer was within her rights to return the other item within a 28 day period, in its packaging, which was not done.
She said she'd return the bench but then a few months later got in touch to say she had had terrible difficulty returning because of the delivery companies and she also didn't have the box to return the item.
Over a year later this customer came back to us and wanted to drop the item back to our warehouse in person. I told the customer I will stand by what I had originally offered, to refund for the one item previously spoken about. I did at that point inform her that the other item, which had not been reported as faulty, was not going to be eligible for a refund because the customer had used it for over a year.
We are a small, family run business so my partner and I can not be at the warehouse all day every day and a lot of work is done around our family life from home.
The customer left the bench and the item which I had clearly told her was not going to be refunded. The items had been ripped apart and tampered with badly, which is not how they had been sent out to her. The items were not in any packaging at all and were returned over a year after purchasing!
I am sorry this has happened but all was set out very clear and very fair from the point of her original purchase. If this customer wants her used mirror she is welcome to collect it at any point, the fact it is in our warehouse is not our fault and it is not resalable in anyway so is still here for her if she wishes to have it back.
We have operated well within the legal requirements and actually gone beyond this in refunding money over a year after purchase for an item which has been broken by the customer and which had been sold at a reduced price.
In terms of the customer service we have responded to all messages and never once been rude to this customer.
If there is a fault with an item that is sold at full price we always organise either a refund or an exchange so future customers do not need to worry and can see this from all of our other reviews.
