I purchased a Tomahawk steak from Waitrose which I cooked on the BBQ. I had two meat thermometers which I used and both myself and my wife thought that the steak was ready.
After standing for ten minutes we carved it and it was raw.
I really wanted to try a Tomahawk again, and after searching the net decided to order a Thermapen One.
This time the steak was absolutely perfect.
The Thermapen worked superbly, and the temperature reading is almost instantaneous.
Next BBQ was pork Tomahawk chops.
Followed the instructions and again had a perfect result.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Thermapen One, it has taken all the guess work out of the BBQ and produces fantastic results.
The factories are in Worthing, Sussex so these are Made in England.

Bought a Thermapen One in August 2024 with the pouch and noticed a hairline crack on the casing. Think it may have been a particularly hard popper so emailed ETI. Simple replacement and free returns label for the faulty unit, no hassle and Emma made the process extremely smooth.

Remarkable customer service. Many years ago I bought a Thermapen for jam making etc. Recently I couldn’t get the rear battery cover off. I contacted Thermapen and Ben sent me two replacement covers free of charge by first class mail. I ground a slot through the old one so I could remove it, and put on a new one. The Thermapen is excellent. It looks like they’ve changed the slot on the battery cover as I had to use a one penny piece to tighten it, and not a two penny. Many thanks for the replacements.

I've had a Thermapen for over 4 years now, and it's transformed how I cook. It still works flawlessly. Recently I broke the battery cover by dropping it, but the company was kind enough to send me a replacement cover free of charge. Really great customer service.

I had used a particular thermometer for a very long time, and thought it was a great product, but I had recently broken the battery. I called to buy a replacement, and Emma, the Sales Administrator, informed me that the product had been discontinued some time ago. The only one in existence was used in her office. Rather than disappoint me, Emma offered to take the back plate off hers and send it to me. That is sales! Where will I go in future to buy a thermometer? You guessed it, (ETI) Thermapen. You should too! Thanks Emma.

I bought an ETI Dot from Thermapen and loved it - used it for cooking, baking, even checking the temperature of the kid's baths. Then one day the probes would no longer register in the device. I contacted Thermapen, and even tho it was out of warranty, they sent me first a probe, and when that didn't work, a new EDI Dot.

I feel complete confidence in buying anything from this company.

Amazing customer service - I’ve had my thermapen for many, many years and it’s been consistently brilliant. This week I needed to change the battery and could not get the cover off, in fact I had to destroy the cover to remove it. I contacted the company and had an immediate reply, asking for my address and a photo of the pen. Once sent, I immediately got a response saying a new cover was in the post. Wow, no money, no questions, just like that, boom. Now that is what great customer service is all about. I am a business process specialist and I’m pretty hard to impress, and the lovely people at thermapen impressed me. It’s a brilliant product, I use it almost daily and whilst the initial cost was fairly high, its long life has made it very cheap. So many companies fail when it comes to customer complaints; most don’t get that it’s an opportunity to delight an unhappy customer, usually resulting in brand loyalty when they do a good job. Thermapen make great products and have great customer service. Thanks to the customer service team Leah and Abi for sorting so quickly.

I bought an instant read Thermopen thermometer more than 10 years ago and it’s been a daily driver without a problem. So when the RFX wireless system came out I bought it on day one. The system with their billows fan includes a number of adapter options. I ordered a combination that wasn’t quite right and ETI gave me a call before the order dispatched to confirm and correct my order.
They may be a big brand but they operate with old school personal attention not out of place in a family run business.
They also refunded the the difference in cost when the product went on sale a few weeks after my original purchase. There are few brands and suppliers I can fully recommend: ETI Thermopen is one of them.

I rarely leave reviews, but Thermapen absolutely deserves one. I needed a part for a thermometer I bought from them years ago, well out of warranty. I reached out expecting to pay for a replacement, but to my surprise, they sent the part out immediately – no questions asked, free of charge.

It’s rare to see this level of customer service! Friendly, helpful, and have great products!

I’ve had my Thermapen for over 10 years now, using it daily as a professional chef. It’s been through countless busy services and has always been a reliable and accurate tool.

Recently, the battery cover broke, and the customer support team was fantastic — they sent me a replacement part quickly and without any hassle. It’s rare to find a product that lasts this long and a company that still supports it after a decade.

I love my Thermapens (I actually have the old model and the One model), but the Thermapen One suddenly developed a crack. I wrote to Thermapen who asked me to contact ETI. I wrote to them and a couple of emails later, they immediately sent me a brand new Thermapen One, with a return label to send my bad one back. Superb customer service. I highly recommend both the product and the customer service.

I managed to crack my Thermapen, and the after sales service was superb. I had my pen back speedily and like brand new bearing in mind it was over three years old. This is why I buy from Thermapen!

Two mini needle probe. Two different readings. One 2 centigrade more the other one 1 centigrade more.

I purchased six Thermapen One products secondhand. Support confirmed they were still under warranty, so I sent them for repair, but they were not fixed. All six of them are broken in the same spot.

I'm a big fan of the classic ETI Thermapen instant read thermometer and upgraded from the classic to the latest back lit model.

I got the Dot for simple no fuss use and it fulfills that function. It misses pot on 5 stars though as the probe cable can't be neatly stored around the body of the Dot, and Thermapen for some reason don't even sell or supply with it a rubber holder to hold the probe on a saucepan eg to monitor jam or oil temp. I got one separately for a couple of pounds.

Outstanding. Some years ago I was gifted an orange Theromopen. It was used daily and cooking outcomes definitely changed for the better - from cakes to meats , no more dry joints. Sadly, it was overworked and tired. I decided to buy a new one . I did, but then discovered I could get a refurb on the original orange one . I waded in with that refurb service, as the "orange original one" was a gift - it came back not only looking brand new, it had a new pouch too. Then I was sent a Thermopen cooking pamphlet and cooking temperature guide . I cannot recommend this device enough. I now have two: one will be my holiday device the other will stay in the house. Customer service was equally outstanding communications were swift and very friendly.

Recently purchased a Thermapen One during their Cyber Monday promotion. Have bought cheaper thermometers from Amazon in the past but they didn’t last long. Thought I would treat myself. So far so good. Really quick to take a temperature and much quality than previous thermometers I have had.

I had a few problems with the postage but got in contact with their customer service and their manager Stephanie sorted things for me.
