Purchased as a gift .
When it arrived and I saw the box and contents in the flesh I felt it was rather over priced.... pretty but overpriced !

Company has a good selection although I favour Beckfords caramel rum just so tasty after dinner and goes down too well so between hubby and me a bottle doesn’t last long. We have the 25% as they also do a 40%

This was a gift , it came very well packed and on time , the contents were superb , and maybe just maybe , I shan’t resist another bottle until my next birthday !

Got an email requesting a review before I've even received my subscription order...

Ordered on the 1st of the month and won't get my first order until around the 7th of the following month which is very bizarre

Spoke to somebody on live chat that explained that to me as it's unclear. Suggested that they'd be improving their system in the future... but launched the subscription model without being able to ship them out when initially ordered? Makes no sense.

My husband wants to try different rums so I've continued with the order and now I'm in the month long wait from paying for the subscriptions first month to actually receiving it... if I hadn't contacted them and changed the date of payment then I'd be making another payment before I received the first box!

The product may well be worth the wait but in my opinion, if it wasn't for my husband wanting to try different rums and the limited amount of legitimate alcohol subscriptions available, I wouldn't have paid up front for something that I wouldn't get for a month. I'd expect the payment to be taken on despatch or for the order to be shipped shortly after paying and then reoccurring on the same day each month.

We shall see how it goes!...

But leaving a review for people of the future that are also feeling a bit confused about the subscription model!

Great selection of flavoured rums with tasting notes and other information, neatly displayed in a good quality box. The whole gift was presented well. Arrived on time and well packaged. Altogether a good purchase and I'm very happy with the product and its' contents.
