Ordered a RECLAIMED Scaffold Board Console/Hall Table - Hairpin table - Industrial -Rustic-radiator and it arrived promptly and looks brilliant.

The product is a 5/5 shelves are great quality and was packaged well, but customer service not so much as no one emailed back after several attempts to contact them. I would recommend them based on the fact they are beautiful shelves just took a while to arrive (just over 6-7 weeks) and there isn't any communication from the seller so don't expect them to get back to you.

We ordered wall shelves, desks and hall table with hairpin legs. We also wanted a strip of wood to make our own coat hook (we already had the hooks, just needed the wood) and asked if it might be possible to order the coat hook without the hooks. James was super helpful and actually just threw in a piece of wood, without the hooks, for free for us. We love our furniture - it's been in for around 10 months now and has dried out slightly with some associated change in shape and a few cracks. However, this is entirely what I would expect from 'rustic' furniture as it simply reflects the natural process of the wood during out. For us, this has simply added character. We get frequent compliments from visitors and, for the really reasonable price, we are really happy. The order did take a little time to arrive but James kept in touch with us and we were aware from the website that the pandemic was having an impact on delivery delays. Well worth the wait! We would definitely order again (this was already our second order).

Non existent communication and little hope of receiving items.

Despite numerous efforts to contact, no response from either Amelia Dobson or James Gledhill.

Content to take your money and give you nothing back in exchange, would not recommend.

I ordered shelves at the end of July 2021 after finding the rustic way online. Their terms state 15-20 working days for dispatch. I waited until the end of august then after reading other reviews got slightly concerned. I sent an email and had a response within around 12 hours stating my items would be dispatched the next day. Following day I got the dispatch notification and they arrived yesterday 2 days after I received email off James.

They are definitely worth the wait! They’re stunning and such good value for money

Unfortunately, after several emails with 0 response, I'm having to write this review to ensure no one else has their money stolen.

I paid £225 for 5 shelves back in September 2020 - which were marked as dispatched in October but never arrived.

My first follow up email was responded to in January saying it would be looked in to - but I've heard nothing since then with subsequent follow up emails sent.

I am now without the shelves and £225 of my money.

Very poor customer service.
Waited ages for the shelf to arrive, when it did it was slightly warped (not exactly level) given that it is a scaffold board and 'rustic' I accepted it wasn't meant to be perfect and put it up.
Over time the warped area turned into a long crack and warped further to cause items to fall off the shelf. Thankfully I have taken it down before it could cause any major damage.
However, when I wrote and complained to the company, I only received a reply on my third message, which quite frankly was sarcastic, unhelpful and offered no solution or compensation.
I expect a longer shelf life, excuse the pun, than approx 16 months for a shelf (a scaffold board nonetheless, not a cheap MDF shelf). And I certainly expect a better response than the sarcastic remark and lack of responsibility that I received.
Very disappointing all round.

I bought two shelves and I absolutely love them. It took a while to receive them which is understandable due to COVID and it is a small business, and there was a bit of a mix up with my delivery address on the first shipping, however the final product was worth the wait.

I bought 3 shelves from this company and spoke with James the owner over a few emails only because I had organised workmen to come in to fit them. There was a slight delay but I have to say they are amazing I love the shelves and brackets and James did communicate with me..... I have purchased another 2 shelves.. That is how happy I was with them, I love them, I already have the brackets I bought extra last time. Thank you Rustic Way

I ordered two shelves on 2nd April, both stained different colours to see which one would look best in my kitchen. Was disappointed initially as, despite there being no information on the website, I was informed after paying for them that my order could take up to 30 days to arrive. As it turned out, they’ve arrived before the 30 days were up, however I’m really not pleased with the colour which doesn’t look anything like the picture on the website. The Antique brown is particularly yellow, and the Rugger brown isn’t as dark as I was expecting with a distinctive yellow tinge. Unfortunately there is also no opportunity to return these so I’m stuck with them. They were well packaged, although the bubble wrap is also stained yellow. Probably won’t be buying from this company again.

Fantastic quality shelves. Very sturdy and the colour is as described.
I agree that delivery is a little slow but I think we are all so used to other companies delivering almost instantly that we forget how difficult it can be for a small company to handle multiple orders so I'm prepared to give the benefit of the doubt.
Ordered11/03 and delivered 20/04 - we expected 4-6 weeks so that's just about right.

The order took almost 8 weeks to arrive - we were warned it would be delayed due to current circumstances but I was frustrated with the lack of response from the rustic way- no contact phone number and emails that were unanswered- when the shelving turned up I was pleased with the quality but just frustrated by the way the company operates - was told the goods had been dispatched but still took 9 days from then to arrive- no tracking - overall nice stuff but just frustrating to deal with

Ordered simple scaffold planks
first communication was to say 4 weeks, left it 5 and chased again, no response, several communications/weeks later I finally got a response (coincidently at the same time as i lodged a complaint with paypal!), message said they would contact the courier to find out where they are... arrived via 24hr delivery the next day!!! how strange!!!
I’d try somewhere else first if I have to order again.

I ordered my item on 18/1/21. Finally arrived today 26/03/21. There’s no regular updates regarding your item and I know the wait was a long time but honestly the craftsmanship is amazing. I’ve had rustic shelves from other company’s but this is the best I’ve ever seen. It’s totally worth the wait. I’m so happy, to the seller if your reading this thank you so much you should be so proud xxx

What a waste of time and money!!

Waited well over 2 months with absolutely no communication or replies and finally it comes and the holes don’t fit legs to screw in absolute cow boy work!! Do not order

Thank you for my beautiful console table, the quality is exceptional, much more than I could have expected for the cost. I was contacted and told there was a delay due to delivery of legs (out of their control due to covid) but I am happy with both the company and the product. Keep going through this difficult time, your products speak for themselves.
