Went after being told that they could fix the starter motor on the car, got there for one person to say yep the mechanic is on his way and then told can’t do it today as there’s no mechanic in, told to f*** off when said that I can go somewhere else if they’re not going to be there. Rubbish customer service and definitely no need to speak to people like that.

I called in for some wheels for my Renault and the boss and his men couldn't do enough for me.
A first class service in a well stocked yard.
I would recommend them to anyone

Contacted metro salvage as i needed a part for my car ASAP.spoke to the boss who was very helpful & nothing was to much trouble i wanted a aircon compreser for my car he said bring your car down to the yard & i will sort one out for you which i did.it was very busy at the time but he sorted one for me i would highly recommend metro salvage & i woulde'nt hesitate to go again & they make time for there customers.

Visited the scrapers as scheduled 9:00 am the staff was ready with the parts the director himself was present and on the yard overseeing activity. Must say I was Impressed by how involved management is in their daily activities and stay on top of all company's functions. Perfect customer service and a well trusted company at least based on my experience.

i telephoned metro salvage to scrap my car. i told them my car had no gear box but i would like to scrap it. only to get told No and to take it to another scrappers. so that i did and i got £80 for my scrap car althou i would have accepted £40 from metro salvage also staff are very rude did not introduce themselves or metro salvage upon answering the telephone just said hello we are not interested and to go somewere else. i would not reccomend metro salvage/the scrappers.

I bought some alloys after they told me they would fit. Travelled 50 miles ti find out they were wring ones. Went back and was promised they would get the right ones..phoned several times over the month but was just given empty promises and told it would be sorted but turned out to be lies. They are only interested in gettung our money and not truthful...customer service needs to improve drammatically. They are defo not the no1 scrappers in bolton...pity the staff are poorly trained and dishonest they harm the reputation of the owner!

place is shambles rang askin for turbo for 2.0 tdi ,, yes wi got one .. bkd engine .. yes wi got one . turned up payed 120 cash took car to mechanic he took my turbo off was wrong , they give me 1.9 tdi off older car ,, went back with turbo they said wi aint got a 2.0 one ,, lol , boltons number 1 car breakers .. DONT MAKE ME LAUGH ,, never got money back , its been a month now and still no turbo i ring every week guy on phone says sorry mate just going for a cigarette ill ring you back , never does ,, ring again you got a tandem pump , yes wi got one turned up give me a oil pump.. this place should die the staff are awefull , if i owned this place i would be ashamed of the staff ,, THEY KNOW NOTHING JUST WANT YOUR MONEY;;;; THE WORSE SCRAPYARD IN BOLTON AVOID AT ALL COSTS ,,its been 2 months now i rang again and guess wat????? STILL NO TURBO LOL . JOKERS WHAT WILL SOON BE OUT OF A JOB HA

AVOID like the plague, called for some alloys that was on sale asked would they fit my car and with no hesitation the owner him self said yes they will fit no problem they came off a car the same,I then paid £80 for 4 tyres to be fitted closer to home to then find out they don't fit inner of the wheel was scrapping on the suspension strut went back the owner said thought they would fit so went back for another set which again the owner said they will differently fit but couldn't change tyres over had to call back day after so not to be a fool again i tested the new set of wheels on the car my self and yet again they catch so no good they have not got a clue what they are selling they will give you anything and get your money once they have that your screwed as you won't get it back even if it's not fit for purpose all it would of took would a simple i don't know if they will fit you will need to check first but I'm guessing that was to difficult for them as they just want the cash then screw you over I'm now out of pocket for tyer fitting out of pocket for wheels you lose every time while they laugh at you with your money in there pocket AVOID this place at all cost.

I first went to Metro in March 2016 as it's local to home. I needed a replacement driver's seat for my Toyota mpv - at the reception window I spoke to Terry the owner and when I told him the model of my vehicle he said "What's one of them?" Even ignoring the fact that he didn't seem to know the vehicle I meant his attitude was abrupt, rude and dismissive.

Today I phoned asking for an exhaust for the same vehicle, the young man who answered the phone sounded very surly and without even offering to check for me just said "Can't help you there" and put the phone down.

Sorry Metro, but if that's the sort of attitude and customer service you give I'm surprised you're still in business. I certainly won't be using you again and I wouldn't recommend you to anyone else either!

I went there once as I was in need of a broken part to replace my existing broken part on my peddle go-kart, I could not find a single person to help me for about 30 minutes, that is when I heard mumbling coming from the boot of a larder in which I opened and to my surprise found a few of the workers in it talking in there sleep, covered up with ripped sleeping bags that smelled of pissy granny knickers with a hint of crap stains, they were mumbling (I hate it here,,, no no please not in there at least use some lube) I quickly ran out of the yard as the owners son chased me running on all fours and barking like a dog wearing nothing but latex undies that had a hole in the bum aria. After making it to the gate I turned around to find that the son had climbed on top of the highest pile of cars and was pretending to lap dance singing (my crap parts brings all the boys to the yard, there life is shitter than yours) stay away its very strange!!!! Plus the go-karts are rubbish and who bothers with larders anyway.

Never trust Metro Salvage Bolton.
1st ring to say they can collect it same day.
I waited 2hours and get told driver he cant make it. Promises to come next day.
Next day calls to say he will arrive at 6pm.
I rang at 5.40 and he says his in traffic.
7.45 i ring again and they say driver will call.
8pm metro salvage dont even have any decency to say they cant come. Just sends a texr to say i can drop it off for £70. Less than what they offered orignally. If i dont drop it they dont want it. REALLY POOR COMPANY. NEVER TRUST THEM.

Got two part worn tyres fitted for £50! Good friendly service from the main man himself! We didn't have to wait that long for them to get fitted and even enjoyed a brew and sausage butty in the cafe!

Cam belt snapped on Peugeot 206. They collected car agreed to replace engine. Granted they went through three engines, but to their credit they persevered and got the job done. Alternative was scrap the car, at the price quoted it was a no brainier.

I have been to Metro a few times and always had a great service, the staff are friendly and deal with your requests in an efficient and timely manner. The parts have always been 100% and never ever faults found, decent prices too! Would recommend to anyone.
