I've called metro salvage an spoke to guy call Lewis and ask for parts he said we got these parts in stock I travelled 32 miles to collect them on arrival at reception spoke to guy call gaz I explained to him he said no problem just pay him he will get some one to bring parts over after waiting 35 minutes I spoke to Lewis about parts because gaz already gone Lewis said I will sort out after another 25 minutes no answer I went to reception again and this time I spoke to guy called lee he said I will call some one to bring parts after waiting another 18 minutes this guy call mo came up to me and said come with me show me which parts u need I went with him and found out there's no parts there one I want then went back to reception spoke to lee for refund and he we should have some he called mo again he came after 15 minutes and still answer was no we don't have these parts at this point I had enough and ask for refund I never met very very dishonest and rude peoples in my life my advice is keep away from this place as far as you can.....

Great parts at great prices and plenty of stock, why pay dealer prices when you can get them from Metro.

Scrapped a couple of motors with Metro Salvage and have been more than happy with their service. They're a great bunch of lads. Am puzzled by the negative reviews on here, they've always been extremely helpful and efficient.

Took advantage of us while we were travelling in the UK our car broke down, with4 young children. It was valued at no less than 7,000 pounds. We were stranded and got put in a difficult situation only paid us 200 pounds and sold it on immediately. Would not send us information of either destruction or new UK registration until we notified UK police!!!! THEY are scavangers!!!!

My Husband Ordered me a starter motor from this place and paid by credit card .Next day as promised recieved a starter Motor but it was not the right one .
Husband then phoned Metro salvage and spoke to Lee Tuff .Who told him to take a photograph of the part they had sent me .As this is what was required ,before he could send the replacement . Most strange !!! but I this he did .The next day he spoke to him again and he said he would have to wait ,as it was Friday and he couldnt send the part until Monday or Tues .On the Monday he phoned him again and asked when the part could be expected as it was in the garage awaiting repair urgently .He said He had just gone and got one & it would be on the van that day and would arrive today . Need less to say .It didnt .IHusband rang the company again ,and spoke to a customer service female callled Linda ,who said Lee wasnt there and was off ill .and no one else could deal with it .Ive had to go purchase a new part as I desperately need my car fixed ..The garage im using was getting pretty annoyed as this was meant to be a one day job .Not only have I had no satisfaction ,with this company the original invoices delivered by courier had all my credit card details ,including, exp date ,and security code .stuck to outside of part in full view .So I had to promtly cancel my credit card at the bank .Any one could have used my card with this info .
.I have passed this on to Trading standards now ,and am requiring a refund and collection of wrong part .Like the title states .Warning Unreliable Absolutely disgusting .service . Should be called .Rip you off dot .com .

hi i have just scrapped my car with metro, the price was good, the driver was polite and did a good job of getting my car from where it was left as it was in a awkward pasition to get to.

so over all the service was great!!!

This place is a joke. DO NOT USE!!!! I was quoted by a friendly lady called Sandra £350 for my Hyundai Matrix on Easter Sunday. Delighted with the quote I accepted and confirmed pick up 10 days later on the wednesday. I waited in all day only to be told that the drivers tyre had blown. I then rearranged delivery for the saturday. After calling up on Sat Morning the games began..... I confirmed a time of 11am for pick up but by half past there was no sign. So I called up to chase. I got a call back from a guy called Craig who was extremely aggressive on the phone saing that they had not even left oh and by the way the car was only worth £200. This was almost 2 weeks zfter the original quote of £350. I called the so called boss who was even more aggressive than craig and basically told me to to take it or leave it. Needless to say I left it. I found the use of sharp practises extraordinary. This firm gives the scrap business a bad name. You can't trust them, they are rude and I definately would not recommend them to my worst enemy. DO NOT USE, THEY SHOULD COME WITHA HEALTH WARNING!!! IF YOU DO YOU MUST BE MAD............

Recently had dealings with this company for first time - will definitely use them again. Great staff, most helpful and prices not too bad either. Only thing missing was some totty !!

I bought a corsa engine from Metro Salvage, excellent service and the engine arrived next day, they gave me a 3 month warranty aswell thank you
