Bought all 8 of the Andy Warhol…
Bought all 8 of the Andy Warhol Campbell Soup collection of skateboards from Selfridges. Truly awful build and print quality. One of the boards had been printed upside down and the hanging solution they provide as standard is ridiculous- it is an old fashioned picture hook with a length of translucent string which is intended to be threaded through the upper drilled holes. It might be useful if you buy one board, but if like me you are buying all 8 it means you don’t have them level. In the end I put them into the capable hands of my carpenter who built a frame for them to be fixed to, but to those who buy the full set I’d beware- inferior ‘artisan’ printing and a completely insufficient hanging mechanism for something that costs £1600. Classic example of style over substance, and if it wasn’t for charity I’d be demanding my money back!
