Avoid like the plague

Avoid like the plague. I can't put into words how bad this company are - they give online venders a bad name. Ordered some items, after many weeks without arrival, I contacted snack chest and was told they did not have the items and were waiting for stock. I asked why they had been listing items as available if they didn't have them - which I did not get an answer. In fact, they still were and are to this day, still listing the items. Then they sent me a note saying they had secured some and would be sending. Didn't come. They never sent. They'll no doubt post some reply saying to contact them - but I had at least 6-7 exchanges with them and they had plenty of time to rectify. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Abysmal company

DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS YOUR MONEY!!!!

Me and my brother went halves on a box of goodies from these about 6 weeks ago, they arrived and several of the items were damaged and the mystery items were unacceptable. If you buy 'Mystery' boxes or items I guarantee you will get items that are well below what you pay for them - In context, we ordered a several '£1 mystery items' and we received several packets of popping candy that they sell on their web site for 10p a packet, so they gave us items that cost 10p and charged us £1 for each of them. This is the kind of company they are.

We have complained several times, over 40 in fact to resolve this and most of the emails have been completely ignored.

They are rude when you are lucky enough to get a reply and they tell buckets of lies, we've had 4 different excuses all contradicting the previous one but most of the time they don't ever get back to you. We've had about 8 replies to 40 odd emails and the last 5 have been completely ignored after the last reply over a week ago, which simply said 'Give us time to look into this we are very busy' They have done nothing in nearly 2 months to resolve it.

We have left reviews on sites like Facebook after going through this ordeal and they simply remove them and block you from viewing their page so they are cheating potential customers from seeing what they are really like as a company. This leaves us having to write reviews on places like here where they can't delete them.

DO NOT use these, they will send you damaged or out of date items, they'll rob you blind if you choose their 'mystery boxes' they will blame everyone but themselves for anything that goes wrong with your order and that is if you are lucky enough to have one of them actually respond to your emails.

They're scam artists and if you use them, you will get scammed.

Honestly probably the worst service…

Honestly probably the worst service I’ve ever experienced, I ordered some sweets for my son’s birthday, it said 2-3 days delivery time which was fine, was given a tracking number with DPD and the tracking information stayed the same for a week, I emailed the company and they said that it is EVRI that will be delivering the goods and that they will be updating the tracking information. A few more days past and still nothing, I emailed again and they said they will send out a replacement but it’s been over 2 weeks and still haven’t received the items, I’ve contacted PayPal and hopefully will get my money back. Do not recommend this business

Totally unsatisfactory

Totally unsatisfactory - i made an order which came to over £30 -discounted through my work company. The order was simple to do and was delivered in a prompt time but over half the snacks that were sent are out of date!! and where i ordered 3 boxes £10x2 £20x1 as birthday presents - all the snacks were chucked into one big box - the crisps were smashed up as they were towards the bottom of the box.
I have tried to contact the snack chest via email and online chat to no avail. I will be sending a letter next and will also contact my company to advise them of the shoddy service this company offer.

Pricing 'Error'

Very disappointing purchase as order was confirmed then cancelled by the company with the reason stating 'Other'. I had to email them to find out and it turns out the pricing of the product was incorrect. Very poor service.

I have had a order before and it was perfect and I honestly can say I won't be buying again. Really poor service to advertise at a certain price then cancel order and increase price of item by over £6.00 and add a delivery charge.

Although I appreciate this was an error at their end, they should have honoured it.

Requested my account be closed and I'll shop elsewhere, however, no response yet. If they do not respond within a calendar month, I will be reporting to the ICO as I have the Right Under Article 17 of the UK GDPR for my details to be erased as they are no longer required.

Thank you for your review. As stated in the emails the system had a technical error with pricing. We managed to resolve this issue fairly quickly but in the time we was resolving it you managed to purchase an item. Delivery charges was added this morning after Free delivery weekend was over. We are a small business trying to grow.

As of your account being closed we have sorted this for you Thomas. This could have been done by yourself on the website. All stated in the the emails we have sent you.

Very very unhappy

I didn’t receive my full order there were items missing and oddly there was a box of screw fittings in my package. I emailed and initially got a response but then heard nothing back from them. Very disappointed as this has never happened to me before. I’d be very weary about placing an order with this company again. If you can you should definitely avoid. There are other companies providing same products and to be honest I’d rather pay a little extra up front than be out of pocket later.

As we discussed on emails it looks like EVRI have replaced the packaging as we sent out in a box and you received your order in a bag. We launched an investigation with EVRI as we stated in the email we have sent you. Please let us know if you haven't received this?

Ignorant customer service , misleading price advertising and just rubbish all round , I won’t purchase ever again. I only deal with companies who answer customer’s complaints not ignore them

Amazing support! Great products

Had a issue with order, I opened a live chat and had the best help! They refunded and gave me a discount, sorted my issue out in less then 20 mins on a friday night after opening hours, Amazing support

First time ever ordering from snack chest and honestly it was absolutely worth it, I ordered the mega box which was actually half price on the site and a few things also.
