Nice vest
Nice vest. Looks new. It'll get lots of use. I live in Filson. Interestingly, there was a hand-written note in a pocket that critiqued the sewing of the vest, as in "The belt line isn't straight, and the rear zipper won't stay flat". No problems here. Fun personal "oops". Thanks guys!

As outlined to you in our email correspondence, your item was not returned in a resalable condition, and did not comply with our returns policy.
The jacket had clear signs or wear
There was food on the jacket
The tag / label had been tampered with
There was an extremely strong smell of smoke / tobacco
This jacket has never been returned back to us, so this is a brand new jacket that was sent to you. It was returned in no such condition that we could send out to another customer.
We have advised that this jacket is being returned back to yourself today.
All of our returns policies are outlined on the website pre and post purchase so that all customers are aware.

I respond to the last comments from The Sporting Lodge. Of course I have an ongoing issue here with the 2 purchases bought from The Sporting Lodge. I have not received the refund of the last parcel I bought and I did not get, which I mentioned in my previous review on Trustpilot. The Sporting Lodge shipping service provider Correos sent me an email saying that the parcel was going to be returned on the 31st of January and I am still waiting for the refund from the failed sale of The Sporting Lodge. Moreover, nowadays fortunately I do not receive letters from The Sporting Lodge shipping service provider FeDex that I owe them customs handling fees that The Sporting Lodge said in an email it was going to take care of and should have paid. Until the beginning of February 2022, I had received 3 letters, which is very cumbersome. This first purchase was made on the 16th of November 2021. Finally, I would like to point out that it is not a question of responding customers requests with mails, offering apparent solutions, which in reality circunvent The Sporting Lodge responsibilities as a vendor, but it is addressing customers requests directly and effectively. Re purchase, I did a lot of shopping around (I'm quite particular when it comes to product design) and these were not only gorgeous (not often you can say that about wellies) but had more than 50% off price in the sale.
