Used the Telecom Shop for the supply and install of our new telephone system. From start to finish, the service was excellent, the product was of a good quality and the pricing was very competitive.

We purchased a large amount of phones for our office, they were competitively priced, the technician came to the office and set it all up. We received excellent service and on going support has been great. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Telecom Shop.

we had placed an order with thetelecomshop.co.uk for BT Versatility V8 Phone system 6 handsets, there's no doubt that the system and handsets are amazing and work great, but the engineer that came to install was definitely in a rush. He was in such a rush that he will not even tell us how we can see our received calls, now if we have missed a call but customer said hello and the line dropped for some reason or the allowed number of rings, we cannot really see who called us which is quite an issue and has/had impact on our business

The other issue is, that we were not told how we can forward calls to our mobile(s) or landline(s), we have tried doing it ourselves but we could not manage to get this option work for us, that means, we will miss calls when away from office.

Apart from that, everything's okay, I think, the installation work which we paid £300 for is sub-contracted, there's no doubt the fellow which came for installation was good to speak with, but he had no intention to help or help us know the features and how we can use them

Otherwise, we are really happy with the system and handset, and would not hesitate to recommend to any SME's.

After this review was posted - by a co-incidence we had to contact thetelecomshop.co.uk and talk about VOIP phones (2 users), [Name] (who's always pleasant and efficient) has asked "the engineer who installed the line" to get these issues fixed. We were called by the engineer and 2 of the issues (call diversion and another thing) was fixed, however, we still cannot still "Dialed Calls" and "Received Calls" - It really affects SMEs because if you had a cut-off you cannot see that customer number and cannot find that customer's number out..... And over a 9 months period of time, we have/had co-incidences like this over a 100 times that means a 100-missed customers. I think, every customer needs this and every customer should be given this facility

I have been promised again today that support engineer will get "dialed calls list" and "received calls" list sorted and make it appear on our telephone extensions. Once this is the case, I will be very happy to give a 5-star which they actually deserve but should work hard to get it and exceed customer expectations.

However, I do not hesitate still to recommend BT Verstaility V8 Telephone exchange and handsets to all readers and other businesses

By the way, I am porting 2 numbers to thetelecomshop.co.uk for their VOIP service, I have been offered £10 for each number, i.e. Hosted Platinum Plan, [Name] confirmed it has all the things which I require - I know [External link] which offer 2500 free minutes to all UK Landlines and Mobiles, and our existing service provider too and many other companies and hope this is the case with thetelecomshop.co.uk and that there's no small prints for this feature. If this is the case and service is good for VOIP and my ISDN-2 PBX "received calls list" and "dialed calls list" is integrated, I will give them 2 reviews as voip and traditional pxb we have are for 2 different businesses.

We contacted the Telephone Shop (UK) when we were looking at buying a phone system and setting up our new office. From the first contact through to the completed project they have been the most efficient , helpful, friendly guys you could wish to deal with. Fantastic patience when speaking to non-technical people!

I can only praise Vaughan & Steve for making this all work, although there are more staff in the background I'm sure that helped make this all work for us, so a big thanks guys & girls!

We contacted the Telecom Shop after buying a cheap small business phone system online from somewhere else, which was completely unreliable. Vaughan took my call and recommended a complete refurbished BT phone system with various extras and 12 handsets. He also quoted for the installation.
The engineer turned up as planned within a few days, installed it, programmed it and trained all our staff how to use the functions.
We are really pleased with the system and the whole service - many thanks to Vaughan and Glen.
