I recently bought this cushion in April 2026 for my daughter.
She had recently given birth and experienced a 3rd° tear.
This cushion has enabled her to sit comfortably as nothing else worked for her.
I would definitely recommend it.

The cushion itself was very helpful once I was able to mobilise after surgery.
I found Steph, (the Valley Cushion coordinator) very helpful on my initial contact by phone.

Excellent initial advice from helpline followed by easy to navigate website and speedy delivery. The cushion itself is well made.

Had a Proctomy surgery (Barbie butt) and this cushion allowed me to drive and sit at the dinner table to eat with the family. Got it 2 weeks post surgery which was probably a bit early but have used it loads now that I’m 4 weeks post. Would recommend

A great product, easy to use and very importantly very comfortable

This cushion was amazing during my recovery from a second degree tear after labour - the most comfortable thing to sit on! I only give it 4 stars because I found the actual rental prices to be confusing. I wasn't sure when I need to return the cushion to not have additional charges, so I ended up paying for collection a day before my rental period ended so I paid for a day off rental I couldn't use. I feel this could be outlined much more clearly on the website, especially for a product designed for people who are in physical recovery and therefore likely to be more vulnerable than normal.

What a discovery to find a company who understands the medical needs for its products from a customers point of view. I have tried other cushions but none of them compares with the the Valley Cushion. You can inflate it to suit your requirements and make sitting down a real pleasure. The quality of the product is first class and the luxury cover transforms it into an accessory that fits perfectly in any home or work environment. Well done "the Valley cushion company".

The cushion was a little pricey but it was for my partner who'd left his in the pub! I had to go back for it as walking was not easy for him. Someone suggested having a spare, which was why I ordered it. He was delighted to have it. Recent cancer surgery has left him uncomfortable sitting. It won't be forever but for now it's a godsend.
The cushion came very quickly.

A quick response to my order to hire not being able to deliver to NIreland , resulted in me deciding to buy a rental version .

I have had a vulval externeration sitting was impossible but the cushion has been a lifesaver

Unfortunately the cushion didn’t work for me. I had a perineal tear after birth and having tailbone pain was hoping this will help.

Would like to see the the ability to purchase an inflation valve on it's own, rather than have to purchase a 'maintenance kit' which has to be supplemented in order to obtain the required part. Customer service team were very helpful in achieving the correct outcome....just a bit too long winded and possibly over complicated!

This is my second valley cushion,the first I had for almost ten years,but it was leaking and unrepairable.
I think the cushions are very expensive,no wonder there is a rental option,for short term needs.
But I find this best for my condition so have to accept the cost and put it into context.

All good arrived on time.
A bit overpriced hence 4 stars not 5
