I've been using Vasstech for years with several cars, and at this point I'm convinced they know my vehicles better than I do.

Most recently, they've been looking after my 2021 Audi SQ7, affectionately known on social media as "Karen" (@Blackout_SQ7_V8).😉

Now, Karen is a wonderful vehicle... when she's in the mood (typical). One day she's a luxury SUV capable of devouring motorways in complete comfort. The next day she's throwing warning lights around like confetti and demanding attention with all the subtlety of a toddler in a supermarket aisle.

Thankfully, whenever Karen decides to have one of her mood swings, the Vasstech team are there to sort it with a cheeky Snickers and technical know how.

The team consistently delivers quick turnaround times, outstanding workmanship, honest advice, and customer service that's second to none.

No matter what I've thrown at them over the years, they've always been friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help.

Unlike Karen, who recently decided that brake warnings (break servo restricted) and general panic by slamming on the ABS everytime I pressed the break pedal was an appropriate ways to start my day and ruining my weekend plans, Vasstech remained calm, professional, and got things diagnosed and sorted without any drama.

If you're looking for a garage that genuinely cares about its customers and takes pride in its work, look no further.

Vasstech are the automotive equivalent of a trusted family doctor.

Karen may be high maintenance, demanding, occasionally dramatic, and prone to attention-seeking behaviour...
But thanks to Vasstech, she's still on the road and still terrorising fuel stations across the North East, not forgetting my bank balance.

Referred to Vasstech by my usual garage as they were unable to carry out the necesary repair (VW Golf 1.4 TSi, Charge Air Pressure Actuator, Mechanical Fault) revealed by diagnostic scan following intermittent EPC warnings. Car booked in within less than 48 hours of my phone call to Vasstech. Further testing confirmed fault with actuator and wastegate and advised replacement turbo needed. This was on Thursday afternoon, was offered a loan car and told my car would be ready possibly on Friday, more likely Monday. As it happened, they completed the repair on Friday morning after having stripped out old unit on Thursday, and the technician collecting a replacement on his way home! Received a phone call mid Friday morning to confirm it was ready.

Absolutely brilliant service. I'm new to the area so had no clue who to call when my car broke. Every single staff member went above and beyond to help me. They were fully booked up but managed to accommodate getting my car in, courtesy car organised and kept in good contact throughout. Carried out work on daughters car new alternator battery and timing belt. I can highly recommend vastech have used them before and will continue in the future. They repair when other garages can't even dealership.

Booked my car in for a service and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. I was contacted promptly with a clear explanation of inspection findings and itemised costs for me to approve. Work was carried out very thoroughly (including resolving a niggling fault with the rear washer jet) and the car was ready to collect later that day. I had a courtesy car too which was really useful as I had work commitments. After having used the Audi main dealer before this experience I can't recommend Vasstech Darlington highly enough, their efficiency is far superior. Although I didn't catch their names I would also like to mention the 2 girls in the office who are super friendly and very good at their jobs. Would highly recommend.

On 29thOctober 2025 VASSTech of Darlington started work on our VW TOURAN which had the cambelt/ timing belt broke. Alex, Nicholl and Naomi kept in touch almost every other day letting us know details of how repair work was going.
We live in Northern Ireland so information was very important for my wife and I. The work was complete in 4 weeks so we flew over to England to collect our car. Everything was great and all staff involved were very professional and very nice.
All I can say is VASSTech of Darlington went over the top to fix and help us the whole way through the ordeal.
