Delivery time was really quick and the meat was packaged with care.

Thoroughly enjoyed the pies I had a variety of steak and kidney,steak,chicken and mushroom I can’t fault them.It was all meat and no gristle.Perfect

First time ordering and certainly not the last , everything was clearly packged with care and instructions .

Made an online order when it came I ordered 5 kg chicken fillets and they all had the inner fillet removed ??? And also order smoked back bacon and they sent catering bacon, which is a lot cheaper and had bits and pieces in it which you couldn’t use in a fry up..
This butchers are a rip off … my order cost me £70 …… tried to phone them but no one answered the phone .. what a way to run a business .. in these time of cost of living crises ….. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

Ordered smoked bacon as part of my order ,ive received unsmoked, at least my items were delivered on correct day this time !!!

Honestly don't need to think about it. Ever since I got my first order from the village butcher I dont buy meat from anywhere else. Best quality and great service. Brilliant supplier!!!

I order from here regularly. I hate having to give a negative review. I ordered the topside salmon cut beef. It was terrible I'd made me and my family a beautiful dinner. I probed the beef for the right temperature and rested as long as i could. It was horrible so tough and hard to carve never mind eat. Ruined our day. I've cooked salmon cut for 25yr with my mum in the restaurant we had. Salmon cut doesn't get rolled there is no fat/grissle it's a pure smooth no fat joint looks like fillet of beef. Very upset

Ordered a large ribeye joint from The Village Butchers with high expectations based on the price and product description, but unfortunately the quality was extremely disappointing.

Around 80% of the joint was very tough, dense and chewy, more like poor quality sirloin than ribeye. There was very little marbling throughout most of the cut, with only small sections actually tender and enjoyable to eat.

I raised the issue politely with detailed photos and explanations, but the response was simply that the joint was “within specification” and only a £15 goodwill credit was offered, despite the majority of the meat being inedible enough that the remainder ended up going to the dogs.

Disappointing product quality and disappointing customer service overall.

Always very happy with the quality of cut, the Short Ribs were amazing 👏!!! Salt beef for later, but looks fabulous 👌. Thank you Village Butchers 😋

First time ordering from Village Butchers, salt beef was absolutely amazing and tasted superb.
Loved the personalised email sent after first order with a detailed overview of the brand and company.

First time buyer. Be wary of the quality of products vs pictured, lamb rack received is basically all bone and little meat and package full of water/blood. 2x Tomahawks also varied widely - advertised as 1kg-1.2kg, received one which was almost exactly 1kg with packaging whilst other 1.1kg, both from Poland. Support was quick to respond but noted both products are within spec. Other items purchased were ok but will not buy again.

I'm so frustrated. I was excited to order, and they sent me a discount code. I toggled through completing the order form and was never asked for a code. It's not part of their standard process. I instantly tried to call them (closed) and sent an email saying I only want the order with the discount. They say they've processed it and now can't help. It's been raised to management and they've decided to leave me unsatisfied.

I buy from Village Butchers regularly for BBQ meat. Really good service and delivery, unfortunately this time DPD lost my parcel. Normally DPD are very good so I think this is a one off.

Jodie was excellent, she was very quick and responsive to the issue. It did end up getting a refund, rating 5 stars for excellent customer service.

Great piece of pork good quality along with turkey thinking of steaks next product looks amazing
