Thank you to Benjamin Wade and everyone at West Peak for the support and motivation. I even got to test out being on the other side and motivating two friends who joined me to climb Pen-y-ghent again only 2 days later, using the kind words and reassurance I was shown by the West Peak team during the three peaks. The understanding and communication skills I have learnt on Y3P have already started to impact me personally and professionally.

So, when someone says about doing the 3 peak challenge, and by my own admission at 30 I am at one of my least fittest I have ever been. We found out in January we would be taking on this challenge as a company and it was daunting!

West Peak devised a training plan that would help give us the fitness we needed to get into a shape that would help us complete the challenge and made sure no stone was left unturned meaning we were prepped and ready to attack the challenge, you always felt that they were on hand to help at any moment.

I won’t go into lots of detail, but the Monday was fantastic with talks and challenges that really helped bring the group together and we all felt ready for the following day, All the West Peak staff were very easy to talk to and each had some fantastically interesting stories that were engaging.

The day was hard, I had an injury which prevented me training for the 3 weeks prior to the peaks, But the team aspect going up the first really helped pull each other through.

Ben was with us from the first stop to the end of the second peak and I have to say, he is the biggest reason I managed to get through, His stories regarding his time in the air force and the challenges he faced in his professional and personal life, general chat regarding getting to know him and his story, and his general motivational nature willed me to finish the 2nd peak and get the sense of accomplishment that the 1st peak gave me.

Managing to complete 2 out of 3 for me was a huge personal accomplishment, I could not have finished it without the support of the staff at West Peak - and you could see they genuinely were happy and proud of every person who managed to complete it or partially complete it.

I hope we use them again to complete something again in the future as it was great to speak to everyone and I have learnt lessons that I can take into my role here at Opogo going forward. Hopefully, next time we meet I will be in a fitter condition and be in the leading pack ...

I have been working with Simon on a number of personal coaching sessions. We have been focusing on a broad scope of topics to which Simon has coached me through in a professional and relatable manner. Simon shared best practises and challenged my way of thinking of which I am already seeing improvements. I cannot recommend Simon and West Peak enough.

The team at West Peak ran a successful training session for our senior leadership team, the focus was on effective internal communications. The session was well-structured, delivered, fun and engaging. Furthermore, the insights, key learnings and best practices shared were both practical and clear. Our team left the session energised and keen to apply what they’d just learned. I can’t recommend Simon Maguire and the team at West Peak highly enough.
