I took part in the 2 day begineers course.
Fantastic. The class size was perfect - 4 of us. Meant we had the perfect mix of space to work on the given element of the project but with more than enough personal attention and guidance that we didn't veer too far off task.
Location was wonderful, workshop lovely and can't thank Omar enough.
Patience, humour and experise. What more does one want from a teacher.
I will be back for sure for another course.

Great introduction to woodworking! Small group and great atmosphere in the workshop. Omar is very helpful and clear explaining the project and you can feel his passion towards woodworking. I will come back with a bigger project!

I really enjoyed my weekend Introduction to Woodworking class with Omar. It was a fantastic experience and Omar is a great teacher who really knows what he's talking about. It was challenging, but also deeply rewarding and I can away with a good chunk of new knowledge and an interest in learning more. (The location is also beautiful, by the harbour, and there were great vibes - and music - in the workshop.) I would strongly recommend The Woodworking Club if you're looking at getting into fine woodworking in the Copenhagen area.

The order was done strictly through the internet and email correspondence. Responses were prompt and kept need informed of where my order was in the process. Even with my Japanese Saw coming across "the pond," I had it in little overa week from the time I ordered it. Great customer service and exactly what I ordered. Better yet, I got to support the Club.

Great workshop if you would like to get into wood as a craft, not so much if you would like to build furniture out of this.

I did the basics of wood working over the weekend, 0900-1600 on both Sat and Sun. The first day was spent on planing, second day was spent on then sawing and chiseling. End result was a cross trivet.

The weekend workshop is not action-packed and not about walking away ready to make a birdhouse or table. It is a great introduction to reading wood and getting into milimeter precision of cutting wood with manual hand tools, and appreciating the (slow) process and art of wood working.

Excellent class and a really cool idea for a club. Omar is super knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone curious!

I took a 5 day beginners course. Although I have a little woodworking experience, I felt the course was not dumbed-down at all. It was also amazing to have one on one attention, guidance and advice every step of the way. It was tough but I learnt so much. Highly recommended.
