I ordered a chair. The webseite looks uk
And you pay with £ but after 10* weeks the chair came from china and i had to pay a lot of customs fee. ( 45% of the prize I paid for the chair.)
Then the chair doesn’t fit together because one drill hole was wrong .
Unbelievable. The customer service ist silent.
Never again

My advice is to stay clear, nothing on the website to say this is actually not a UK company and your parcel will come from Asia. I'm out of pocked by £135 waiting 7 weeks now with no update on tracking. There are companies (genuinely in UK) who can supply for this price and deliver in a couple of days. Wish I'd read the reviews now before I ordered.

Please read this before ordering from Work Alley. Why this company is particularly deceitful is because it pretends to be a UK company, and it advertises products as “in stock and ready to ship”. What I have learnt after chasing a desk for over a month (not to mention the “in stock and ready to ship” chair order that was cancelled by them two week after them) is that this is a company based in China and therefore subject to all of the global supply chain disruptions you will read so much about. In stock means in stock in a warehouse in China. And good luck trying to cancel your order and get your money back. By then you will already have received your useless free gift, which they seem to keep in the UK. I think I am 6 weeks now (and waiting - it appears to be in Holland for some reason at the moment) for a small desk/table which I should have bought from John Lewis for a small amount more. I will never use this company again and you should not use them either.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
They take your money, send you rubbish goods and then ignore your emails regarding returns/refunds until it’s over 30 days and then insult you by offering a partial refund!

Those who have been 'scammed' or not received goods or received shoddy goods and left negative feedback: well my feedback left some weeks ago has been removed. Others have had similar experiences. What is going on Trustpilot? How is this possible? Has your review also disappeared? This needs investigating. I also echo another reviewer who asks, why are so many of the positive reviews "invited"? What does this signify please, Trustpilot?

Do Not Buy from this China-based company.
In my case, they
Did not reply to a single query re missing chair
Did not reply re chair having plastic arms and plastic rattan back, once it did arrive
Never said on Instagram or their website that furniture is being sent from China - so one cannot return it if its below standard.
Then checked Trustpilot for their feedback. Wow. Realised this is a possible scam. Reported to Paypal, finally got a full refund. So do create a Dispute if you used Paypal, as they will help, and settle in your favour if the fault lies with suspicious company.
Dont waste your time trying to get answers from company! Feel very sad when i see innocent shoppers Liking furniture on Instagram. Interesting: cannot see my earlier feedback posted many weeks ago, and other buyers have found this happened. Is Trustpilot taking them down under pressure from the company? Lets see how long this one stays up!
Finally re the rime to get refund:
Purchased on 26/10 and refund came 9/12.

Ordered a desk and chair. Chair arrived after a few days but 3 months on still no desk. According to tracking it has been delivered but tracking is extremely vague doesn’t give an address or company that delivered it.
Tried to web chat on MANY occasions but they go ignored
They are great if you’re lucky enough to get your items but if they don’t arrive good luck getting any form of customer service!

My order never delivered. They rarely respond and the number on the website goes straight to a full VoiceMessaging box.

After months of waiting I finally had to accept that my order was never going to arrive and they were never going to respond to my emails.

Learn from my mistake - Save your money and don’t buy from them.

Update:

I tried to communicate with them over Instagram. I noticed they continue to post and I had made clear comments regarding products never being delivered. Instead of responding they deleted my comments and blocked my account. That’s why their photos never have any comments from actual customers.

Absolutely awful!!!! I received a VERY bad electrical shock from one of the gold mice lamps recently purchased. It took 18 days to arrive and when it did it was in an unmarked polystyrene wrap (chinese symbols written on it) and wrapped in a taped up bin bag. I have tried to contact them twice now about my serious concern around this products safety with no response. Bad quality item topped off with a Co.plete lack of customer service

Awful. Came smashed up! Took 3 months to be delivered then ended up being faulty, smaller than website said and smashed to sh*** do not use company fake and scam

Awful company.
Ordered 2 stools and Christmas lights. Faulty lights delivered. No sign at all of my stools. No emails. Cannot get hold of the company, a £180 down the drain. Hope you can sleep well. Doing this to so many people. DO NOT USE this company.

Like others have said my belief is that this is a scam company. Ordered an item last week, no confirmation email, no order number and no reply to emails. Money taken straight away of course!

Ordered a monitor stand and it has not arrived. They took my money and I’ve had no irresponsible, tracking numbers don’t work and when I called a mobile I got someone in China who clearly had no idea what I was talking about stumbling her way through telling me someone would be in touch. Super dodgy. Don’t buy from them.

Ordered a Ergonomic Office Mouse on the 29th November 2021 I have since emailed them not heard anything. this site looks like a SCAM! Money was withdrawn out my account by the name of Joymall

WARNING DON'T BUY FROM THEWORKALLEY!! ITS A SCAM! I BOUGHT A CHAIR, HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR OVER 40 DAYS NOW WITHOUT ANY FURTHER GIVEN NOTICE! HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CALL THEM AND MAILED THEM MANY TIMES, BUT NO RESPONSE!

I bought a chair, received the wrong item and asked to return it. It was also very poor quality, given the amount I paid. They have never got back to me. This seems to be a scam site - I've had to get my bank to retrieve the money and I've still had no response from TheWorkAlley.

I ordered an item from this so called company which I have never received. Like others I received 1 emailed response to my request for an update since then ...NOTHING. Tried to call the contact number (which is a mobile) and of course, it doesn't work. I suspect the good reviews are written by the scammers themselves.
Do not order from this company !!!!!!

Order a lamp, took a few days to arrive but when it arrived it was keyboard cleaner. I have emailed them every day for about a month received one reply but totally scammed out of 50 pounds… I will not be returning customer.
