Poor customer service.

I bought a ticket for "In the city festival" which, was unfortunately cancelled. I recieved an email from the organiser to contact ticket tailor for a refund. I have filled in two contact me forms, to date no one has contacted me to advice my refund.

Ticket Tailor is a platform that allows event organisers to sell tickets directly to their audience and set their own ticket terms and conditions. That being said, we'll reach out to the event organiser you've mentioned to advise them on the refund process, and to ask them to check their messages.

Robust API, Smooth Integrations, and Reliable Support

After initially rating this lower due to issues with the Memberships feature, I’ve since had a chance to explore Ticket Tailor’s API and integration capabilities — and I have to say, they are incredibly powerful and flexible.

The system connects smoothly with third-party tools, allowing organizers to automate ticketing, membership validation, and reporting in a way that’s simple yet highly customizable. The documentation is clear, and integration with platforms like Zapier or custom scripts is straightforward even for small teams.

It’s clear that Ticket Tailor’s infrastructure is robust and developer-friendly. While my earlier review highlighted concerns about the Memberships functionality, I can confidently say that the core platform and API are rock solid and make it one of the best event management tools out there for independent organizers.

Kudos to the team — excellent progress and great potential ahead!

We're sorry that the Memberships feature hasn’t yet met your needs. While hundreds of Event Creators use it successfully every day, we recognise that there are still areas that need attention, especially for more complex event setups. We’re actively working on it, and your points have already helped inform upcoming improvements.

To respond to each point you've raised:

Scanning and check-ins: You’re absolutely right - the Memberships QR code was originally designed for season-pass style access, where members could attend any event. We also released members-only tickets, for events (like yours) with strict capacity limits. However, based on similar feedback, we’re now developing a new scanning filter update to better support capacity-limited events. This is in the works and should be launching soon.

Unlimited QR redemptions and Check-in counter: Similarly, the membership QR code was designed for open-entry setups, with season passes limited by duration. When you need to limit entry, we recommend using members-only tickets, which do restrict capacity per event. This will also deliver an accurate, event level, check in count at the moment. We're continuing to improve this flow to make it more intuitive.

Pricing issues: This should absolutely work seamlessly, and is currently working well with no reported issues. If you do think something is not quite right, please drop our support team a line with specific order examples, and we’ll look into it right away.

Discount visibility: We'll look into this with our UX team to see if there are any improvements we can make here.

I'd like to reiterate that your feedback is super helpful. It's disheartening to hear that it's not working well right now, but motivating for us to improve things. We'd hate for you to have the impression we're understaffed - that’s not accurate, and wouldn’t be something we’d usually say.

Perfect For Performing Arts!

Very simple and easy for a first time event

Very simple and easy process throughout. Stripe gave me some difficulties but it was mostly user error. Overall it was a super enjoyable experience for a first time event.

DISGUSTED

Absolutely disgusted that TT are raising their prices! We are a small company and I got nothing but ‘it’s so we can keep provided our excellent service’ from Rhio on the chat. You are becoming a part of the economic problem when your prices should remain the same so that you are PART OF THE SOLUTION! I am leaving next week as I am so sick of the GREED and quite frankly I expected more from this company. SHAME ON YOU! And btw, nobody’s wages are going up! Just prices 😢

Changing our pricing for some accounts wasn’t an easy decision. We understand that you feel upset with the news, and how it might affect your events.

While your Pay as you sell price per ticket may be increasing, you can keep your current price by switching to our Pre-pay option. This means your cost per ticket sold will stay the same. Only the way you’re billed will change. If you’d like bespoke help understanding what this might mean for your events, our customer support team is here to guide you via hi@tickettalor.com.

We genuinely believe this change is the right step to ensure we can keep delivering the best platform possible. Even with this small increase for some accounts, we remain committed to keeping our fees as low as we can - and we’re proud to still offer the lowest fees in the industry.

I tried to pay

I tried to pay, and the only option I had was a PayPal payment.

EDIT: No, that's correct review - you only connected PayPal payments to your website, it seems. I've paid for event 1727880, and after paying I received PayPal receipt and option to log in to my PayPal account! I do not wish to have PayPal account. But because you are using their checkout system, PayPal account was created without any input from me. This is not right.
Consider using something else like Stripe or whatever, but not Paypal. Thanks.

Very disappointing customer service and rigid refund policy

As a long-time customer, I’m extremely disappointed with how TicketTailor handled a very simple and reasonable request.

I had purchased credits some time ago, which I haven’t used and no longer need. I politely asked for a refund or at least some form of goodwill – especially considering that the service wasn’t rendered and that I’m no longer using the platform.

The response was a flat refusal, citing terms and conditions, without any flexibility or willingness to consider the individual situation. No offer of a compromise, no human touch – just a cold “no”.

There are many other platforms out there that treat their users with much more empathy and customer care. This experience left me with a very bitter feeling, and I can no longer recommend TicketTailor to anyone looking for a customer-friendly solution.

DO NOT BUY TICKETS THROUGH THESE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. As I have seen in other posts, been absolutely scammed for the John Terry event that was supposed to happen in November 2024. And the response from these guys is ‘contact the seller’. The seller whose website has disappeared? Who don’t reply to emails? Shoddy company, protecting the scammers more than the customer, atrocious & I will ensure everyone I know never buys a ticket through you enablers. And please don’t respond with your generic BS. Shut shop or change your sh**ty ethics policy.

We're sad to hear about your experience, but you've come through to the wrong place. When you buy a ticket from an organiser using Ticket Tailor, you pay the event organiser directly.

We don't see or hold any ticket sales money, and can't issue or influence refunds.

Organisers use our platform to manage tickets, and create event pages.

Unfortunately, as frustrating as it may be, event organisers are the best people to contact about event changes and refunds.

Buggy service, beautiful site

Buggy service, poor customer service. Beautiful site though, with very cool features. We tried using this for a non-profit fundraiser event. They require a charge/debit card to charge their fees to. When adding our club card, our bank declined the first connection attempt. After we sorted that out with the bank, when trying to re-add the card, TicketTailor pretended to connect to our bank again, but it was fake - they simply waited for a delay, and then returned the result from the first attempt. Our bank confirmed that a dozen attempts did not make it to them. Customer service was completely unhelpful, they said they couldn't clear that, claimed the card was "not compatible," and said "use another card, you can use a personal card have your org reimburse you." Additionally, when my event was in "Draft" mode and I tested it, it actually charged me.

Our billing works smoothly for thousands of Event Creators every day, but unfortunately, we aren’t always able to see the exact localised reason why a particular card might not connect successfully.
Sometimes, even after resolving issues with your bank, attempts can still fail due to the way payment providers cache card verification attempts or flag transactions.

Regarding our billing, all new accounts can issue up to five paid tickets for free to test things out. If you need more than this, or would like us to take a closer look together, just get in touch with our 24/7 support team. We’re always here to help you get set up in whatever way works best. We're committed to helping you get the best use of our software.

20 year Reunion

I am currently planning our 20 year reunion. I needed a platform that would let us sell tickets to the Reunion.
It was easy to set up and I liked the platforms ease of use. Unfortunately they currently use Stripe. Stripe made me put in a business url and gave no option for a non business event like a reunion. I called to let them know that I wasnt a business and didn't have a url. They said they fixed it and it worked. I got a payout and tickets were selling. After having 3500 in revenue in there. They stopped payouts and on the last day of ticket sales they stopped letting people buy tickets to our event. When I called I was told someone would get back with me. 24 hours later, I have heard nothing from the company.

I feel bad because Ticket Tailor might have been a great experience if it wasnt for their participation with Stripe.
